Love how beautifully she is growing! She’s 12 days in transition now so 2 days away from 2 weeks in bloom basically (since I switched to 12-12) so interested to see where her stretch will cease! She’s no longer on raises now and is now climbing above the girl that was already in bloom! (Iced grapefruit) and now stands an inch above her when I started I had the plants raised to match her height and now it will be visa versa! And so many flower sites too! Amazing progress! I pulled her ties for the last time too to allow the lower branches to gain more light but I’m done with that now as it’s opened enough and is now working on them lower branches too! But she’s such a beauty! Has flower sites all the way up her branches!

6/7 - Day 78/Day 38 Flower Lower leaves continue to show signs of a deficiency but haven't been able to pinpoint what is causing it. I watered with a gallon of distilled water today in order to induce runoff. I got the following readings: - pH: 6.3 - PPM: 1530 - EC: 3.1 My PPM reading is about 120 less than last week which tells me that my girl is still feeding but not nearly at the rate that I would have anticipated this late in flower. I'm going to hold off on supplementing with any additional nutrients until I get down to 1200. Given how much time is left in flower (3 weeks), I doubt I'll hit that threshold before my flush. Going to continue just watering and watching pH. I've noticed that the smell has started to dissipate a bit over the last few weeks. I've had a stint of a few hot days where the tent was registering temps in the 90s. I'm hoping that I didn't compromise my terpene production. Only time will tell. 6/12 - Day 83/Day 43 Flower Starting to see signs that my leaves are entering the fade so decided to take a peak at my trichomes to see how close I am to harvest. I'd estimate the ratio of clear to cloudy trichomes to be at about 60% to 40%. Seeing a few amber heads but they are few and far between. Forgive the potato quality of the trichome pics - need to work on my photo technique. Based on the guidance from ILGM, the flowering period is expected to last 9 weeks and I'm right at the tail end of week 6. Given my current progress and how my trichs are looking, I'd expect that I'll be in a position to do a final flush next weekend. I'm going to hold off on feeding any further nutrients from here on out so that I can reduce my PPM count and have my girl ride out the remaining nutes in the soil. Based on my readings from early in the week, seems like there is still plenty of food in the medium. On a positive note, I noticed that the smell returned last night! Assuming I corrected the problem that cause the smell to dissipate over the last couple weeks - I am looking forward to a pungent yield in a couple weeks!

Day 45 --> Restart some light LST for the final weeks of Flowering. 🍇 Really intense aromas from stomper n GWK (like sour,sweet grape tannins). ⚠️ In this project we experimented with a super soil like mixture. Biobizz all mix was 65% of the mixture which 1/3 of it was placed on the bottom of the pot and the rest 2/3 was mixed with 35% Canna terra. About 10% perlite was added on the mix and it was sprayed with EM microorganisms (Soil activator). 🏁 The target is a tasty organic flower fed only with tap water and a slow release organic fertilizer(6-3-18) which being applied on the end of the 3rd week and, becomes available to the plants 7 days after. In our case which we transplanted on day 9, we used it on day 30(9+21) from seed. ℹ️ Facts Until the 3rd week plants were growing under LST with no problem (Day 17-19) was when preflower started). In the 4th week development slowed down and initially we though that was due to some drop of temp like midway veg in ➡️ (RQS fem induction). After days were passing and the development of the plants was not satisfying (even though the plants didn't show any symptoms of deficiency or environmental stress) we noticed shiny leaves and dark green colour starting from Stomper#1 which was the smallest plant and was the only one that had some visible burned tips on the leaves. GWK#2 was the only one that did not appear dark green colour or shiny leaves (like SS#1,#2 and GWK#1) but had drooping leaves without having overwatered her or noticing any issues.(Conditions on week 5 and 6 were a bit unstable as the weather got weird and we had high humidity and low temps). Reaching 7th week plant development continues to be average, stems of the most plants became dark red without having low temps inside the tent even though plants look a bit better after they were let to dry a bit more. 🔬 Symptoms 1)Dark shiny leaves 2)Slow growth 3)burn tips 4)Drooping leaves 5) Dark Red stems Matching the pieces of the puzzle we assume that we had NITROGEN TOXICITY and knowing that we do not use any liquid fertilizers it seems that our problem was that our super soil was too "hot" for our baby mephs. If our rooting system of our plants reached the final layer of soil( Biobizz all mix on the bottom of the pot) in the 4th week, it was when it had the highest availability of nitrogen. Availability that seem to be "too hot" for Sour stomper and Grape walker kush in early Flowering. Also in the last weeks we had cold weather so we had an electrical heater on increasing the temp of the room which led to higher temp and transpiration inside the tent.That being said it is likely that due to higher transpiration our plants let higher amount of N to enter the plant and that forced the plants to show us signs of it's toxicity. For a start we let the pots dry to reduce the nitrogen availability and then in Day 45 we water with 6,5 ph tap water + EM microorganisms (700ml each pot). ℹ️ Day 48 : Ideal humidity + temps and the plants have started to drink and eat a lot better the last days. After the second water (700ml) of the week yesterday (D47) with microorganisms only, we find the first signs of deficiency on Sour stomper #2 today. We were expecting this cause our dry fert has only (6-3-18) --> 3 phosphorus (slow release), so our leaves look like having phosphorus and calcium deficiency, we are thinking that the roots locked calcium too with the deficiency of P as these too are collaborating. - So we are going to feed all the plants with organic liquid fert. from Plagron - green sensation PK (9-10) starting with stomper#2. * Every plant in tent has its private watering schedule as the maturity and needs, have changed over the last week. - If the problem continues we'll consider a cal mag solution. * Will be appreciated any comments or same experiences!! Worm Feeding: - This week I fed my worms about a pound or so total of: Banana, mango, dill, tomatoes, carrots, strawberries, aloe filet, green beans, covered in a dash of oyster shell and alfalfa meal. - I layer down some canna leaves, layer diced up worm food, sprinkle dry amendments (kelp, oyster shell, neem, etc.), layer canna leaves, then replace bedding and they are happy! - Creating the food layer protected by the green manure gives the worms a nice buffer zone to move freely through eating as much as they want. - This method is inspired by HerbinFarmer on Youtube. Hey everyone 🤗. This week they both continued to develop very well. Flowering day 35 Today the tent was cleaned, the humidifier refilled and the plants sprayed with Canna Cure :-). Flowering day 36 The plant was watered today with 1.2 L 🙂. They were also checked for their health and pests 👍. Everything looks great 🙏🏻. Flowering day 37 Again the tent was cleaned and fresh osmosis water was filled into canisters. Flowering day 38 Today 1.5 l per pot was poured so that some drainage comes out again. therefor two days are not poured 😋. Flowering day 39 The tent was cleaned, the humidifier was filled, the plant was checked for vitality and the entire electronics were checked for functionality. Flowering day 40 Today she was sprayed again with Canna Cure and checked. Flowering day 41 We got to the last day of this week and 1.2 L were poured again and the tent was cleaned 👍. ***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted. D80 (13/05/2021): I'm looking at the trichomes every other days. Glue Gelato is starting to show amber on top buds. No amber for Banana Kush and Gelato. This time I will chop them all at the same time so the one I will rely on is the Glue Gelato. As soon as she is ready, I will harvest them all. Banana Kush and Gelato would probably need more, but in term of logistic, I need to harvest all my plants at the same time. D83 (16/05/2021): Not ready yet. I'm checking trichomes closely! 😬 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-25C ; during the night: 20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 46-48% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. - ***IPM: I never mention it but I'm using nematodes pouch as an integrated pest management. I had trouble with pest in my first grow and I learned from it. That's the only thing I do for pest and of course watching closely and regularly at my plants 😊

Day 99 for this girl. Finished her fourth flush session today and is real close to harvesting. Will give this girl one more day of light before putting her in the dark. She is super sticky and the tricones is on point.

Week 4 Update: Plant Growth: Noticed some plants lagging behind by 5-9 days, so I've been focusing on giving extra care to these ones. Implemented Low Stress Training (LST) on the stronger plants, particularly the Gorilla Glue and Gelato varieties, to encourage more even growth. Weather has been a mixed bag – occasional bursts of sunlight, but mostly rainy days. To compensate, I've set up a makeshift box with LED lights to ensure the plants get consistent light exposure. Nutrient Management: Adjusted feeding schedule to once every 2-3 days to provide a balanced mix of nutrients. Using a combination of guano, worm tea, and Grow NPK Autogrow mix to feed the plants, which seems to be working well so far. Considering adding Cal-Mag to the mix to ensure the plants are getting all the nutrients they need for healthy growth. Observations: Despite my efforts, I can't shake the feeling that some of the plants might be experiencing slower growth than expected. It's a bit frustrating, but I'm staying patient and hopeful that they'll catch up soon. Looking Ahead: As I prepare for the next batch of seeds, I'm already thinking about the lessons I've learned from this experience and how I can apply them to future grows. Despite the challenges, I'm feeling optimistic about the future and looking forward to seeing how these plants continue to develop in the coming weeks.

They are growing nicely, i forgot to upload for some time and now they are finally fully flowering, i pretty much fertilze them with everything.

Hello Diary, What a trip. I read a lot about the new F1 hybrid strains when they came out and was really interested to see how quickly they would develop. And indeed, in the end I can say that I am very satisfied with the Medusa F1. I planted three seeds but one did not sprout so two remained on the farm. The first Medusa was ready to harvest 68 days after the seed was placed in the ground, the second Medusa stayed a week longer. All the time the vegetation and flowering grew happily and contentedly. I didn't feed them too many additional supplements and they grew as if they were on steroids. After harvesting the first plant, I put it in a cardboard box to dry to protect it from light since the second plant was still on the farm. Drying lasted 14 days, after which I trimmed the flowers and put them in jars. The final result is 116 grams of dried flowers. Medusa F1 #1 - 47 g. Medusa F1 #2 - 69 g.
