Week 2 transplanted from solo cups to 5 gal pots an 1 into 7 gal grow bag. Plants had good healthy roots in solo cups..plants keep growing vigorously from the start!!!

Day 9 I had no choice but to defoliate, the canopy was getting way to dense and humidity was hard to control even with my 30 pin dehumidifier. Hopefully will not affect to much. Probably I will do another defoliation on day 21. TDS stays at 550PPM this week and CO2 at 1200PPM.

On this week I noticed how crazy she got so I decided to throw some netting on top to further decide where I’d like my tops at and to flatten my canopy better

Great week this week :) been really fattening up and putting out a really sweet sugary smell. Really liking the purpling I’m getting in the one. Had one of my males accidentally pop too soon so might end up with a few seeds :p

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 22 8/1/21 welcome to week 4 and most likely the last week of veg as you can see I am now SoGing and she is looking happy and healthy. I kind of wish I had a 4 in trellis and not a 6 in to start lol but it is what it is as always happy growing and keep your stick on the ice.

Just finished week 3 and everything looks amazing. Been fighting a gnat infestation. Been running some Mosquito dunks. This week I'll run a H2o2 in the res. Hopefully this will take care of them. Also placing yellow sticky traps in every bucket to catch stragglers.

GERMAN: In dieser Woche lief der Grow auch wieder wunderbar und ich kann mich nicht beschweren, es ist einfach nur wunderbar den kleinen beim wachsen zuzuschauen, ich freue mich immer wieder, sobald ich mein Zelt aufmache und mir die kleinen anschaue. Das Topping hat am 26.04.2024 stattgefunden und heute 28.04 geht die Woche auch schon wieder zuende. Mein Plan für die nächste Woche, ist es die kleinen mit Main-Lining-Technik zu biegen und noch ein 2. mal zu Toppen in den nächsten 2 Wochen. I'v done the Topping on April 26th, 2024 and today (April 28th) , the week ends. My plan for the next week is to bend the small ones using LST-Technic and topp them a second time in the next 2 weeks. Responding well to the bloom nutrients. it is so wide and tall now. I will defoliate and LST this week. She is just exploding. I did some defoliation, removed lower buds and added more stakes to open her up. Her bud stacking is remarkable

Bisher noch die kleinsten Buds, dafür aber ein toller süß-zitroniger Duft. Alle haben auch etwas mit Nährstoffproblemen zu kämpfen. Ich gehe von einem Stickstoffproblem aus, wahrscheinlich ausgelöst durch meinen PH Wert von 7, da ich Anfang mein Leitungswasser nicht gefiltert habe. Ich habe nähmlich eine Gesamthärte von 5,7 gehabt und die Karbonhärte davon betrug 5,2

The Bubble OG plants are looking awesome! My tallest one is stacking up with super dense buds. It's crazy to think that the other one is almost ready to chop – the colors are so vibrant. And then there's that short and squat one with the purple leaves. It's definitely the oddball of the bunch, but I kind of like it. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Sometimes the Blumat was set to give too much water or too little. Unfortunately, I always had problems with the Blumat indoors.
