When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

Pleasure to grow. Low maintenance in super soil setup in 5 gal cloth pot. Stayed small and compact but frosted up early and heavily. No deficiencies, steady growth, no training needed. Even minimal LST (which I did not do), would surely increase yield but I was more focused on quality and letting it do its thing. Genetically, it was determined to grow a perfect little canopy while not taking up much space, about as low maintenance as you can get on a plant imo. Running autos is still a limited thing for me, I like the idea of having keeper clones of photos as this is all for personal medical use, but this plant was fun to grow, true to form and stable as heck. I have a few seeds left and I’ll definitely save them for an outdoor run down the line

Everything is going smooth. The bigger one is drinking a lot. Showing signs of potassium deficiency. Flushing the first 5 plants , for almost 2 weeks now. Flushing the last 3 plants for 1 week now

It was fairly easy to clone these from my veg tent which I will display. I used a 16 site EZCloner using the Clonex Rooting gel in combination with the floraflex V1 and V2. The first week went well, 2 small feeding per day. Slight heat wave in my city “Mass” reached high temperatures in the 90s. Overall first week went well although I did hace to install my chiller to keep my reservoir temperature down on the 70’s. These plants were pheno chased throughout my years as a medicinal patient (So Flavorful 🤤😋). I can’t wait to see the final product. The girls have basically exploded this week! They were drinking a ton and have responded really well to the steady increase in nutrients. With the room being basically self sustaining, it’s been a lot less work. Yesterday was the second round of defoliation and because this is my first time getting this far, I decided to be pretty moderate. There’s a few plants I took quite a bit off as an experiment and they seem to be doing great! The guy at my local hyrdo store recommended GH Floralicious Plus for flavor and smell, so I decided to try it out and this is some pretty potent stuff. After their first feeding of the Floralicious they are smelling delicious! The one plant furthest into flower is starting to show some fade in the lower leaves, she will certainly be done before the rest. She has a very sweet and sour aroma, especially if she gets rustled around a little bit. I’m stoked for the rest of flower and seeing their progress. Also I haven’t seen a fungus gnat in weeks so those yellow sticky traps are a must.

It's early October, and the weather is getting worse. I hope it holds out for another one to two weeks because it's currently raining more frequently. The buds smell sweet and are slowly turning frosty.

This week has been excellent for my Black Cherry! Five days ago, it received its first pruning. It was defoliated a bit and the top was pinched. I want to see how the genetics react to stress and how it copes with it. The side shoots have been tied back as best I could. A beautiful bushy growth is slowly forming!

Much appreciate all your likes, follows and comments. 🙏💚❤️💜 Week 13 Jan 8- Jan 14 This was another amazing week. Girls are behaved very well. Drinking their juice like crazy. 2 waterings of 9ltrs on Jan 10th and Jan 13th. Runoffs at ph 6.2. Buds are gaining some serious weight and the trichomes development is of the charts. Girls are covered with frost. Trichomes are mainly milky now with individual ambers here and there. On Jan 10 noticed on one Athena top colas a white topped bud! It's something that has never happened to me. It may be only led bleach or it's something abnormal and phenomenal. It's white and has red and amber pistil hairs in between and all covered with trichomes. Few days after. White coulour is not spreading and not seeing any damages. The smell in my cabinet its insane. Very sweet scents. I wouldn't say bananas but definitely sweet berries and gummies 🤤 new dehumidifier doing an amazing job. Humidity when light is on is between 49-54% and 52-58% when lights are out. It's all looking that my 🍌💜👊 girls will be ladies very soon. Harvest is coming big time. Next week planning to gradually cut nutrients down and prepare for flush. Very excited for my first grow! There are so many great resources online, I was encouraged to give this a try even though I was intimidated at first. The Kush Grow Kit put together a lot of the items which made it easy to get started. I added the grow tent and the fans and we're ready to grow. The kit recommended no nutrients for the first 2-3 weeks, so I'm waiting two weeks to add their vegetation nutrients. If anyone has a good reason to add them earlier, please comment! As far as light schedule, I was planning on doing 18 or 20 hours, but my buddy was like "what the heck?" let's just do 24/7. If anyone has a good reason to do less, please comment!

She grew up nicely very healthy and strong and she produced a decent amount of organic clean cannabis, It's great and just what I work for because I'm a patient that needs to grow his weed and doing it making sure I grow them naturally and organically. The result is a very fruity and and tropical aroma, the purple color makes her even more beautiful. It's just a dream man, I love it, I just love to grow this strain, the 4 plants I grew had the same aroma very tropical and fruity, super sweet.

Overall the blue cheese performed good and i knew it was going go to be last to harvest! The buds were so damp and sticky it created some mold on the top cola! Lucky it didnt spread to the rest of the plant! Next time im definitely using some low stress training method for this. Dry weight 34 grams altogether!

Just cut them down. They were a blast to grow! Big ones clones are going to be even better! I will update with a dry weight, and smoke report after 3 week cure.
