The sugars coming through the bud and the leaves at this stage already Is mental compared to my last grows, each time I feel like I’m learning more each week, and with what I’ve seen this morning I couldn’t be more happy, just look how deep that shade of green is💥..new updates now in the new year.. Monday It’s beginning of week 4 and they are doing pretty well. The main stems are hard and strong and it’s impossible to bend them at that point. I am practicing a very light hand LST everyday like I am showing in the video. Tuesday Watering for both of them , you can follow the (simple) process in the videos. The plants are doing great except for a little issue on one of them that I will show you tomorrow. Topping or not ? May be beneficial so I’m about to do it. Fiming maybe ? Thursday Topping on video ! Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week and staying safe. It was a nice week for the Glueberry OG as she grew to her 7th node on day 26 and I just popped off number 7 gently so she will end up with 10 main chutes from 5 nodes as i also removed the bottom node which typically is larfy popcorn buds. If she had not reached node number 7 by day 28ish I would have just topped her above the 5th node as I have had great yields that way as well. Dutch Passion says she takes 11-12 weeks but autos usually start preflowering/flowering between days 28-35 depending on strain so I try to complete all toppings by day 28 or so with autos because if you top them after they start to flower they will suffer. I have topped above the 3rd (for mainlines and mainifolds) as well as the 4th, 5th, and 6th with great results from each. As a general rule, the longer the autoflower is expected to take, the higher up I top her as she will have more time for more colas to develop. Some people think that topping stunts an autoflower, however as long as you allow her to grow a nice ball of roots and she is healthy, it only stunts mine for about 30-45 seconds. Glueberry OG Auto is absolutely loving this Medic Grow light so far, and I am super impressed with how tight she is keeping the nodes. I am running on 60% power in the V1 or vegetative blue stage. I will start working the UV/IR Spectrum into the mix as soon as my 2 seedlings go into coco coir and can handle some more light. The Glueberry OG Auto is currently 6 inches tall and was topped above her 6th node, and since the first node doesn't start until 2.5 inches from the coco, that is a tight group! I will start LST tomorrow on the two top mains, as it has only been 48 hours since topping and they are growing fast. I see alot of growers tie down their entire plant to the ground for LST and that is ok but not beneficial imo. My goal is to keep her nodes tight, and then just LST the mains from the uppermost nodes, as to allow the lower nodes to catch up., while I typically clip the bottom most node as she typically only produces larfy popcorn buds. These are certainly usable for bubble hash/edibles/cannasugar etc. but they do drain some energy from your top shelf colas. The goal of LST should be an even canopy as to minimize apical dominance. This will allow the plant to better utilize the existing light and limit wasted light that converts to heat. Tying a plant down restricts the airflow from the plant and impedes the growth of the lower mains. LST does not require pinning a plant down to the ground with staples, and although a cannabis plant will bounce back from this, it certainly will not reach its full potential. As far as nutrients go, I feed veg nutrients until my auto is almost done stretching then I transition to full flower nutes over about a 6 day period. The only exception is if my plant is growing out of control and I am unable to slow it down through topping, LST, super-cropping, etc. At this point I would make the switch to flower nutes slightly sooner. So she will be feeding on silica, cal mag, and veg nutes for at least a few more weeks here and just some LST. I am dropping a Auto Banana Kush seed from Weed Seeds Express. I scuffed both ends lightly. I placed it in the water, and covered it up. I will plant in 24 to 48 hours once plant shows the tap root tail. I will be using Athena blended line nutrition in a 5 gallon dwc. She will be under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. Unfortunately for this Gal the past few days have been shorter as her two other roomies wanted to go to sleep 6 hours earlier 😴😴😴 but at least she got to stretch and develop her buds. Hi everyone this last few weeks have been crazy as you all can see this Gelato turned out to be a Photoperiodic plant. Week 17 in to flower for 2 weeks now. All was going well but I did not have much time to look after it. And got some light burn in the early stages did some training techniques and She looks is recovering now. Some nice pictures how big one of those can get when I wasn't expecting this plant to be a Photoperiodic. But let's see she turned out a female so that's great will be a nice surprise probably. Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur fünften Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Wir nähern uns mit großen Schritten der eigentlich interessanten Phase meines Gartenprojekts. Jetzt mag der ein oder andere sagen, dass die Pflanze im Vergleich zur letzten Woche kaum Fortschritte gemacht hat, und evtl. habt ihr recht. Allerdings möchte ich zu meiner Verteidigung sagen, dass das Setup so für mich sehr neu gewesen ist und ich zwar indoor „gelernt“ habe, ich jedoch die letzten Grows fast vollständig outdoor kultiviert hatte (seitdem es legal ist, selbstverständlich ;)). Außerdem sehe ich die letzten Wochen noch als Anzuchtphase, also alles halb so wild :). Aber genug der Ausreden :), was stand diese Woche an? Da sich der „Auswilderungszeitpunkt“ jetzt wetterbedingt doch noch um eine Woche verschiebt und die kleinen Substrat und Topf geschuldet den ersten Mangel aufweisen, habe ich den kleinen mal ihre erste richtige Düngung verabreicht (Greenhouse-Powderfeeding 1 g/L). Eigentlich sollten sie schon rausgesetzt werden, allerdings traue ich diesem ganzen Warm-/Kalt-Mumpitz nicht.  Da gönne ich den Damen lieber noch eine Woche in ihren künstlich beleuchteten vier Wänden. Ebenso musste ich die Pflanzen untenrum etwas ausdünnen, da die älteren Blätter leider mangelbedingt irreversibel geschädigt waren. Der Tee wird für ca. 24 Stunden mittels einer Aquarienpumpe in Kombination mit Sprudelsteinen belüftet. Je nach Dauer der Belüftung enthält das Endprodukt mehr Mikroorganismen (24 h), bei länger gebrauten Tees enthält dieser weniger Mikroorganismen, dafür mehr gelöste Nährstoffe und Enzyme sowie Aminosäuren, welche als Futter für bereits bestehende Mikroorganismen fungieren. Um das beste Ergebnis zu erzielen, müsste ich mein Setup noch mit einem Heizstab ergänzen, welcher die Wassertemperatur konstant zwischen 20 und 23 Grad hält. Für den Tee benötigen wir: Ca. 15 L Wasser   30 g 1 l Regenwurmhumus Eine handelsübliche Aquarienpumpe + Sprudelstein Melasse (fungiert als Nahrung und begünstigt die Vermehrung der Bakterien). Der Wurmhumus steuert die Mikrorganismen sowie Huminsäure bei, welche das Pflanzenwachstum unterstützen. Ich verwende ausschließlich Regenwasser, da es weder Chlorrückstände aufweist noch einen niedrigen EC‑Wert (ca. 0,05) hat. Wo liegen die benefits? Fördern den Gasaustausch der Pflanze, indem sie dafür sorgen, dass sich die Stomata schneller und weiter öffnen (wenn als Blattspray angewandt). – Beimpfen den Boden mit nützlichen Mikroorganismen (Pilze, Bakterien, Protozoen, Nematoden etc.) und sorgen dafür, dass ein Boden-Nahrungsnetzwerk aufgebaut wird, welches die organischen Stoffe im Boden zersetzt und diese für Pflanzen verfügbar macht. Morgen werden die Kleinen dann mit dem Tee gegossen. Alles, was übrig bleibt, benutze ich dann, um die bis dahin hoffentlich fertig gemischte Erde anzugießen, bevor sie eine Woche in den Endtöpfen fermentiert.
