End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. They are looking healthy and the stems are very strong. Excited to see how big these nugs get with this bud candy. Week 4 today. My grow is always frosty. For some reason a lot of people have told me my grow is the best they have ever had. I’ve tasted other growers grow and their stuff wasn’t as good as mine. Definitely have a great green thumb in growing.!

Today first day of 3rd week i tryed second FIM on this plant after the early one. I am only trying to learn so not sure for now that i am doing good but hope for better. Okay sooooo big big sighhhh! I’ve been dreading making this post so I’m sorry I’m behind 2 weeks. I had to go outta town for 8 days. I had everything set up for my brother to take care of the plants. It was a really hot week the week I was gone and these plants were taking a beating and started to get burnt from the heat! One plant died and I’m super sad about it. But we living and learning out here! I have tried to trim the dead leaves without taking too many fan leaves off so I don’t shock em more. All last week was surviving giving the plants a little over a gallon of water a day! Doing some of the nutrients every day but not all. I like to run water in Between the nutrients. But with coco coir I’m not too sure if it’s needed. “Learning over here” so ya thankfully it’s been cooling down and I’ve learned some new tricks to cool the tent off! I got a air water cooler that’s blowing cold air into the tent and my 6” duct sucking out hot air. Things are looking better! One more week with nutritions then a week of flush and Harvest is what I’m thinking. Any suggestions thoughts or ideas for me! I’d appreciate it!

Week 6 Update – Stretch Madness! 🌿 Things are going really well—maybe a little too well! 😅 The stretch has been insane, with the plants reaching 80cm in height and still growing. Honestly, they can stop anytime now! I’m currently watering 3.5L every 36 hours to keep up with their needs. BioBizz#1 – BT15 Everything looks good so far, but I checked the runoff and noticed a pH of 7.5. Not exactly ideal, considering my feed water has a pH of 6.7 without adjustments. Something to keep an eye on. AN#4 – BT15 I’ve reached 100% of the feeding schedule with an EC of 2.5, and she’s handling it like a champ. Since bumping up the nutrients, she’s taken off and even overtaken BioBizz#1 in growth. AN#3 – BT11 She’s been getting an EC of 2.1 for the past few days and seems to love it. At this rate, she’s going to outgrow my tent soon! 🙂

Week 5 done and dusted and these girls have started their flowering stage, stoked! This week has been a bit slow growing for them unfortunately, I've been super busy and haven't been tending to them as much as I would have liked. I started the week with an over water and then neglected them for a few days and and they dried right out. They were not looking happy. I then top dressed the girls with Herbi's all natural nutrients, 2.5 tablespoons of bloom and 2.5 of Veg mixed in with 5 tablespoons of Worm castings for each girl and i got back to regular watering. They've sprung back up to life but I can't help but think it's another bit of stunt they didn't need. Having said that, this girl has bounced back and caught up! I haven't used any training or defoliation on this orange sherbet girl and she is looking great! I'm stoked with her recovery, and hopefully for her future. Been on the Spananbis so I wasnt able to check on them but they did really good the last few days. Put a net on them to spread them out a bit cause im scared of not enough airflow between the plants

July 20: 31 inches with a 16 cola manifold 👍😎. Definitely growing fast and has now pulled ahead of the 16 cola Bruce Banner Fast which is at 30 inches. Hot again today so a bit more water and a couple of mistings with hose water to cool off a bit and provide some humidity. One tomato plant that I realized had a potassium deficiency responded well to a potassium silicate foliar spray. You can learn some cool stuff growing dope. July 24: still growing fast and maybe starting to pre-flower which is fine cuz I’m starting the force flowering in a few days. This is just 12 h of darkness to get this photoperiod to start flowering. Yes, it’s a photoperiod plant from Fast Buds. And it’s awesome. Did another lazy compost tea which is just 5 gallon pail of water that’s sat out overnight to degas, two handfuls of mature compost, some molasses, kelp and Humic Blend, and finally a couple handfuls of shredded coco coir to give the bacteria some where to attach and grow. Leave overnight, maybe stir a couple times, but that’s all. 24-48 h maximum as you don’t want it going anaerobic (and stinky). After tea, she and the other girls got a nice top dressing of barley and Power Bloom with minor amounts of oyster shells (for calcium) and Azomite for trace metals. These are bloom nutrients in anticipation of the start of flowering this weekend. This has been the hottest 90 day period ever here in Edmonton, and lots of other places too.

Ab geht es in die nächste Woche! Auf Empfehlung habe ich BioBizz Alga Mic Und Acti Vera zu meinen Plan hinzugefügt um die Ladys etwas zu retten. Zusätzlich habe ich der Lady etwas unter die Arme gegriffen indem ich alle vertrockneten Blätter entfernt habe. Ich lasse mich mal überraschen wie sie sich auf den letzten Metern machen.

Week 4 of flowering, time to switch to the Bloom nutrients. All the ladies have been cleaned/trimmed last week, I will go for another unexpected buds hunt, the plants are gonna make some few shoots, usually on the nodes, I will pinch off those lil new growth under the canopy to avoid any waste of energy. And I will keep on plugging off any big fan leaves if it starts to recover a lower bud. Last week using the humidifier, I will swap it versus the dehumidifier next week.
