Week 11 She is having her last weeks now while fattening up her buds. Plant smells really nice and very strong to the fruity-peppery side now, I really like it. Some pistils are still white, so I give her at least another week. The color is really dark purple and gives a good contrast with the green. Really curious about how this weed is going to taste and smell when finally cured.

9/2/25 Overall I'm delighted with these. 17 weeks grows for me are few & far between. These 2 phenos had 7 weeks in 2L pots. And were put into a 20L pot of coco/pebbles and gives 10-14 days to recover and were flipped. I purposely grew them this shape as I had to make sure I kept them apart if hit with WPM or anything like that. As grows these long, buds this dense. And running a tent with a bunch of mixed grows from done to days into the start of the 12-12 flip. I would have liked to run for another week on a 100w light and high doses of UV but because of such a mixed bag of grows in my tents. Running reds/uv just wasn't even attempted. 10/2 She smells absolutely amazing, buds are super big, sticky & very smelly. They're still mainly hard for the moment. And leaves not even limp. So, I removed the big fan leaves to allow air to move around better. They're hanging behind my 100cm2 tent kept out of UV rays.

Beginning of week 7 in flower, only two more weeks left if they ripen like they did last time. Plants are beginning to smell, develop triches and fattening up. They're not going to get any taller but compared to my first grow they're double in size. It's getting really intense. I'm in there every day checking humidity (on the no defol side) and I'm starting to struggle keeping up with the feed. During lights off I've found the plants eat the most food. I topped up the res, added 25% more PK. I try to keep the plants at 700 ppm and in the space of four hours it dropped to 600 ppm (towards the end of lights off). I stopped directly loading with Calcium Nitrate and instead used a regular calmag. I'm about to go overboard with Calcium Nitrate again and bump the ppm up to 1k. Will see how far the ppm drops the next day. 17/02/20 Update: The plants are beginning to smell a lot more, it has that kind of fermenting pungent smell from a red paw paw but applied to a mango. Very sweet, it literally smells like I'm growing some kind of tropical fruit. Still struggling with the feed, I added close to 40g of calcium nitrate and the plants still dropped the ppm lower than when I boosted it. I find it really frustrating that Dual Fuel only sell as a pair. Part 2 is amazing for late flower. Potassium sulphate and Magnesium sulphate, it's the perfect PK boost and I don't know anyone other nutrient like it. The other PK boosters always have too much P. 18/02/20 Update: Still battling my plants and the efforts to keep up with them is still frustrating me. Ran out of potassium Sulphate and bought Bio Diesel Rhino K 0-0-15 as a substitute, talk about expensive but I was desperate. 19/02/20 Update: Uploaded how I pump calcium into my plants this late into flower. They eat more than what I showed daily. That's 100+ ppm of Ca everyday! I don't know how much pectin this plant has now but the Brix would have to be through the roof compared to my first grow. 20/02/20 Update: finally got the feed right for a twelve hour period. I'm using two times the amount of K any bloom booster recommends and I'm probably using ten times the amount of calcium easily. I'm also going to feed as minimal N from now on, I'd cut it out completely if I could but I rely on Micros for the macro nutrients. Spent $65 on that bottle of potash and I used a third of a bottle for one nutrient change, think I'll stick to using powered water soluble potassium sulfate. My main concern is that I won't be providing enough iron with the little Micro I'm giving it. Going to throw a couple of rustry nails into the res. I'm about to do a top up...dropping the Micro super low, putting minimal part 2 in. Along with all the fulvics, humics, kelp and other acids my ppm only sits at 244. Which gives me plenty of room to load up on calcium. Top up the mag cause what was in the part 2 wasn't enough then load K. 21/02/20 Update: The plants finally stalled and took a breather yesterday. Didn't upload any photos cause it looked the same as the day before. By the end of the evening it looked like the explosive growth started back up again and the photos from today will show it. The ppm was creeping up not down this time...finally over feeding them. Dropped the extra loading of calcium and potassium to regular bloom phase levels and bumped the chelators up instead. Update 22/02/20: plants aren't eating what they were. Ppm is remaining stable at 800. I won't dilute the res just yet. Still holding off to see if it goes up again. If it goes down I'll refeed the same formula as last time that has reduced calcium and potassium.

Hey everybody. Day 41. I have been really busy, the garden has gotten out of hands. Tomorrow I will start flowering stage. Just need to go get the flowering nutes. Still havent gotten the hydroguard, my creditcard is locked so cant order shit now. But they still growing and not dead so I take it so that they can still be saved. Hope that they wont freak at the lights swap and scrog training. All the best, yours truely, MrPlow! Day 42. Today was a BUSY day. It was the last chance to clean the rez. I was a bit worried to put the net over them because it means there will not be a chance to clean them in any case, and there has been a battle with the algae and other root issues but if I want to grow them in scrog then now it is time. And I am a Scrog guy all the way, balls deep. And the shitty thing is that I still dont have the Hydroguard, BUT I bought every freaking root product Advanced Nutriets has ever made and added them to rez, hope that can keep them alive another 60 days. It has to work, I like the Scrog style so much im willing to take the risk of not cleaning the buckets until harvest. I think its a must when growing weed, if you are a commercial grower, it gives you the possibility to use every inch of the tent efficiently. The OG kush from rqs is a stellar plant. I grew the OG kush from rqs b4 but it turned out way different b4 it was all green and stacked really well with a hash smell and old school kinda growth. This plant is grayish black nugs with dense goofball size nugs with far internodal spacing. This plant has some super dense nugs with a dank smell with this really good other smell but I can’t put my finger on it kinda fruity but not the normal fruit smell. I can’t wait to smoke this plant when it’s dry and cured. This plant has really long stems that need some help so they don’t fall over the plant has a lot of bending to it so the branch’s can bend a lot without breaking witch is good for long stems but you have to hold them up somehow at the end of flower with steaks or string or something to hold it up right

This week it is official, I have used both organic and synthetic inputs. I did notice she was starting to become a little defcient right around the time to top dress(Week 3). I think her issue was potassium. I have also been overwatering a bit, trying to get a handle on keeping the media moist, I think the wetting agent in the Pro-Mix is working as well as the worm castings. Other than that, I am really impressed with her speed of growth. To give you growmies an idea of my thought pattern on this grow, the first 3 weeks were just organic amendments. Top dressed with 1 cup of worm castings, with 5 tbsp of Home Grown and 5 tbsp of Flower girl and watered in with a light nutrient(syn) solution. Next I will water only roughly until my next top dress in 3 weeks in which time I will feed a compost tea. Thanks for those that stop by, like and comment. See ya next week growmies!

It took two ... 2 full hours to repot all 7 plants. I used an entire bag of Fox Farm Ocean Forest.... also sprinkled Mycorrhizal on each root system. The GG4 is really oing pretty good... I believe the tight node spacing means good things are in store. Super cropping continues. I gotta flip the whole lot of 7 plants...who cares .. first grow mistakes... fun!
