Fade has fully set in now, just keeping an eye on the trichromes for harvest time. Plants are nice and frosty and smells very sweet. Was getting worried about harvest time and drying / curing as I go away for 2 weeks November 6th. Invested in some Grove bags for the cure so this has reduced my anxiety about leaving my harvest for so long during the beginning of cure. Heard good things about them, interested in your opinion drop a comment.

The Apple Cup hermied this week along with the Baker's Dozen. Fortunately Tropicanna Poison is flowering so fast that it seems to be unbothered by the hermies next to it. The hermied plants will be stunted as more energy will be focused on developing pollen/seeds. Also I'll have to chop them down early before any seeds begin to solidify within the buds. It's ideal to immediately remove any hermies as soon as pollen sacs are spotted. Unfortunately I only have my small closet space so I decided to leave them and observe the growth of hermies.

Plants are stretching along nicely. Day#9F Plants bounced back from the scrog training very quickly. They're picking up the pace with stretching! Day#10F Plants are just bursting in new growth, Creamy Cereal Crunch is getting huge! Day#11F We got the start of cotton balls going! Day#12F Pictures N/A. Ladies continue to explode in growth, defoliated some of the older leaves that aren't getting any light. Day#13F The ladies continue their stretch! Creamy Cereal is absolutely beasting out! Day#14F Cotton balls are getting bigger and bigger. Plants continue to stretch with minor signs of slowing down. Recap: Things went extremely well this week , the plants absolutely exploded in growth and have developed cottons balls. With some time left on the stretching period and lots of time left overall on this grow I'm very excited to see the end results with these cool genetics.

At the beginning of week 2 the plants have grown fine, but also developed some yellow leaf-tips, which I assume is from the amount of light they receive. Therefore I decide to hang the both LED-fixtures higher. The LUMATEK ZEUS PRO 600W is now at 75 cm distance and the two SANlight Q6W-Gen.2 are at 90 cm distance from the top of the clones of CANNALOPE HAZE from DNA-GENETICS. The humidity inside the HOMEBOX-tent is kept permanently at 60% during veg. The grow-controller GROWBASE PRO from GROWCONTROL does a GREAT job in keeping a constant environment inside my growtent. As a precaution I put up some yellow sticky traps against fungus-gnats and also hang sachets with predatory mites from KOPPERT (=Thripex PLUS) on every plant. This will prevent spider-mites and thrips to invest my tent, since the predatory mites will eat them right away. I LOVE BIOLOGICAL TREATMENTS and decide on it every time instead of using chemicals, because I grow my own medicine here and dont want ANY CHEMICALS on my cannabis! 👍😎 At the end of week two I slightly increase the light intensity again, by adjusting the dimmers of my LEDs. The Lumatek is now set to 50% dimm-level and the SANlights are running at 60%. Until now there is not much difference to see between the two sides, all plants are healthy and doing well.

F29 beginning of 4th week of flowering SD3 - initially sweet orange then engine grease SD2 - initially sharp vaseline then engine grease mixed with kerosine.I personally like SD2 more. Even with the stunted growth. SD3 is getting yellow from the bottom and i dont know what to do. I had thrips so i sprinkled diatomaceus earth on top of the soil and rubbed some on the fan leaves and stems. Sorry for the reddish pics

Hi growmies, thanks for visiting my diary! This week I'm happy to share my plants are in full bloom. Up until now the buds were growing slowly (or not as fast as I wanted 😜), but now they are really fattening up! The smell is strong and the aroma sticks around for hours after opening the door of the growbox. It's not that visible yet on the photos, but the trichromes are growing abundantly on the fan leafs as well. I saw a few HighCloudz diaries where the leafs were completely covered in white sparkles and I'm hoping this lady will turn out just as frosty. As temperatures begin to rise, so does the humidity. I keep the airco running permanently in the room, not so much for climate control but it keeps the air nice and dry. I will share more pics and updates as the week progresses ✌️☘️ Stay tuned and stay high

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Day 120, 9/5, Day 50 of flowering, full week always one week back: Net down and holding in support. The discoloration is starting to spread and I'm still unsure exactly what it is or if there's time to address it at this point. I've got the lights pulled up just bit more, just over 17" to the canopy at the closest spot. Humidity and Temp have been goldilocks as far as I can tell. PPM was 1100 and 6.38pH on the last runoff with small amounts of Molasses, Senizyme, and a tiny bit of CalMag. Bag is 60% FFOF, 30% Coir, 10% additional Perlite. Have been using FF trio as my base at half strength, only other additions have been the occasional Senizyme and some B-52 back in veg. Day 121: Posting a video of entire plant. Having to get a bit creative to keep this lady up. Some more twist ties and a tie up. Day 122: Will feed tonight. Planning a clean feed with a slightly high pH to bring closer to 6.5pH. Fed: 6.8pH, 6L, 71F, 135ppm - Runoff 6.69, 545ppm. Day 123: Going to spend some time tonight trying to get a view of the trichomes without the glare of the LED on, seems I might get a better idea of what's going on. My wife took these pictures in the dark with flash only this morning. Day 124: Well, I think I'm considerably farther along than I initially thought. I think I'm harvesting this weekend? I've at least 60-70% cloudy, and several amber as seen in today's pictures. These are likely the best micro shots I can get. I have a handheld magnifying glass that's hard AF to keep lined up on my phone camera, especially with my shaky hands. On the other hand, these are pretty decent zoom pics, LG V60, so here's some free advertising for them I guess. Considerable yellowing of the leaves seemingly over night. Day 125, Thursday 9/10, Day 55 of flowering: So, I've decided we won't be using the Flawless Finish. I would have, had I another week to water again. Just worried about adding anything as this is my last watering. On my previous clean feed I had a run off in the low 500s, so I'm just going to 'flush' again with plain Ph'd water. Lights on thru Friday, if everything looks good, lights off all day Saturday. Sunday: harvest, trim, and dry! Night 125: So after fretting a bit much over the past two days, I called the guy at my local grow (and home brew!) shop. He advised 50/50 one way or the other on the Flawless, but of it was him he's pass if he was harvest Sunday, as I plan. Watered with plain ol' pH'd water, 6.5 input. The first gallon was warmer ~75F and run off was 6.3pH/1300ppm, second gallon at 70F, 6.5pH/900ppm. Assume the higher ppm is from the higher temp in water for the first gallon, which was done on purpose. Tomorrow is the last day of lights. Day 126: will attempt to get some good trichome shots tonight Going to confirm she's cloudy and amber all over then shut the lights off for 24hrs. Day 127: Lights out! In the dark til tomorrow. While I couldn't get any good shots, I would say bud to bud my trichomes are 80% cloudy, 10% glassy and 10% amber. There are a few trichomes I was able to focus on for a second that seemed reddish or purple: no idea what that means. My wife was able to sneak into the tent and get some Trichomes pictures. See the red & amber! Day 128, Pre-Harvest Sneak Peek & Pics: Wildly underestimated the amount of time this would take. We started at 3pm, and by 10pm we had only done about half the plant, maybe a little more. Granted we got up for small walks around the block every hour and stopped to make & eat dinner at some point, but I would say we did a solid 4-4.5 hours of trimming. We only clipped the arms of what we trimmed, so the rest is still in the dark tent. Hopefully we finish tonight! We weighed only the largest buds we've trimmed so far and it came out to 140grams wet. Day 130: Welp, didn't finish trimming til this morning. Worth it though! With some already drying for 2 days and some newer, the weight is likely hard to gauge at this point. Looks like the smalls are mostly dry already and weight in at 16gr, the slightly larger grade buds weighed in at 32gr, and the largest buds weighed in at 126gr now. We tried our hand at dry ice hash for all the trim (77gr wet) and got 2gr out of the 73 screen, and 10gr out of the 220 screen! Picture posted of product. 🌿 Grow Diary Update: Week 5 Check-In 🌿 Hey growers, Can you believe it's Week 5 already? Time's flying, and so is our girl – she's a beast now! I've been itching to defoliate more, but I've maxed out the amount of defol i can do and i have now stopped completely to avoid stressing her out too much :/ Overall, she's looking happy, but I noticed some leaves getting darker than I'd like, so I dialed down the nitrogen a bit... Remember my PPMS struggle? Well, good news – got them down to 1200ppm but could not get it any lower.. i could lower the ppm/ec of intake even more to hopefully drop it but in this stage of flower feeding lower than 800ppms is too low unless you need to flush to reset the medium so i am just gonna keep sticking to the 800ppm feed for now and measure run off each time hopefully i can get it around 900-1000, yes these high ppm/ec levels are fine for cannabis but mostly when your using co2 thats like 700ppm+ but at the end of the day SHE LOOKS GREAT! Here's to another week of growth and learning! Blütewoche 9. Dies wird vielleicht die letzte Woche ihres Lebenszyklus. Viele Narben sind schon braun gefärbt. Die Trichome sind fast alle komplett milchig. Doch Bernsteinfarbene Trichome muss man leider noch suchen. Den Einen oder Anderen findet man dann doch ab und zu. Ich denke in 5 Tagen werde ich sehen, ob ich mit der Ernte beginnen kann. Tag 59: Die Schimmelgefahr ist mir etwas zu groß. 2Buds hat es schon erwischt. Die Dame wird jetzt geerntet. 😈

La planta ha comenzado a crecer vigorosamente en su 5ta semana de floración debido al estrés que sufre la floración se ha realentizado pero la planta se ve bastante sana y vigorosa como si recién se estuviese preparando para la explosión de la floración, todo caso noto que la cepa en sí tiene una floración retardada , florece parejo toda la floración y no avanza a explosiones como normalmente lo hacen algunas genéticas , predigo cogollos bastante compactos aunque no se ven Tan resinosas aún su efecto final lo dirá todo, hay una gran densidad de ramas y los entreudos son muy cortos debido a los leds y su ataque en espectros monovanda (450 nm royal blue) las hojas se ven muy sanas casi partiéndose de vigor y algunas raíces sobresalen sobre el sustrato.

D82 Defolación, para dar mas luz a la produccion del fruto, ademas de un LST en las dos copas que habian quedado del Corte Apical.- --- A media noche entre pisco y algunos caños de bluechesse le hice LST a otras ramas mas bajas que al parecer necesitaban atencion. Estoy aplicando todos estos diferentes stress antes de la 4 o 5 semana de floracion, debido a que aun se puede y no afecta si no, favorece ( o no se en verdad lo veremos en el camino)

Two seeds with taproot: into peat pellets sprinkled with VAM (mycos), into soil and now I just sit back and pray. Maybe I’ll just let them grow. No topping, no training. Veg for a few weeks and flip. My man RightHemisphere.Genetics hooked me up with some breeder seeds and his own creation Mafia Candy (fem). Soil has been cooking for 30+ days. OneShot, worm castings, biochar, oyster shell, bone meal blah blah blah. Just a few more times with this ‘style’ of growing and will switch to something easier and simpler cuz growing with Nectar is just too crazy. Gonna pop 2 Mafia Candy soon, just gotta figure out timing as I’ll be away for a week in Dec and might not be able to find a plant sitter…. Will be updating the diary with more pics when they pop.
