24 hrs of darkness begins. amber trichomes are hard to see under certain lights and through glasses, i dumped the glasses and moved each one to a different room and sure as shit "amber trichomes!". I am starting another diary for the 2 gorilla glues that are growing really slow. I was going to dump them but i kept putting it off and slowly the buds started stacking up. Hi Gromie's, northern Lights has really taken off this week , I have upped nutrients & also turned light up to 75% (around 360w) which has also helped to increase temps to 22-24°c. Rise in temperature has made a big difference. I have also topped her a 2nd time & will mainline using nebula haze's (grow weed easy.com) method keeping the 1st & 3rd node's giving me 4 cola's per side, 8 total, have started training branches. I have grown RQS a few times but this is my first RQS diary. The seed took 36hrs to pop and sprout in the wet paper towel. It only took another 36hrs to come fully out of the ground and loose it’s shell. I started with the lights 70cm’s from the soil which was giving a LUX💡reading of 25,000lux💡.Once the seedling 🌱 got to 5cm’s I raised the light by 5cm again to keep the distance at 70cm’s maintaining a reading of 25,000Lux💡 at the top of the seedling 🌱. On previous grows I started with the light at 80cm’s but I was getting stretching. I find if I start at 70cm’s and don’t raise the light after a day or two that the seedling 🌱 can get light burn. HUMIDITY: As you can see in photos I have milk bottle tops full of water next to the seedling. I’ve been this for a while now. I have my seedling next to a plant only a few weeks away from harvest so I need to keep the overall humidity low. I might be crazy and wasting my time but it makes sense to me. I leave these bottle tops near the seedling and over the space of a day the water evaporates off and then I refill them again with water (PH’d water). I reckon if the water is evaporating off so close to the seedling that it must be creating some extra humidity around the seedling 🌱. For the record I don’t think the earth 🌍 is flat. *I’m using RQS nutrients for this grow. I am recording the nutrients as 0.5ml as there is not a tablet option so what I mean by 0.5 is half of one tablet per 2ltrs of water. 🦍Day 3: Watered around the edges of the seedling 🌱 just to dampen the soil a bit 🦍Day 5: Dampened soil again. Looking good so far. 🦍Day 7: Gave very light watering. Happy with the height of the seedling 🌱. The light distance seems to have worked well.

Day 46 - Defoliation video! Day 49 - Bulking up big time now! She is watered with a 2.5 gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients, every 5-6 days!

Hi all! A week has passed, the plant started to grow. this like i poured old solution, replace new water. see you next week! im learning english=) corrected me

Was out of town all week and came back to find the CBD Star in my space bucket not looking good. It looks like a phosphorus deficiency but not entirely sure. Yellow leaves with brown/black spots and dark red/purple stems. I flushed it with 2 gallons 6.5 pH water, re-fertilized, put it out in the sun and defoliated. I defoliated pretty heavily since many of the fan leaves were yellowed and blocking light from the lower bud sites. The center was also getting pretty dense so I carefully removed some of the leaves to help with airflow. Despite the stress, It seems to have bounced back reasonably well. There’s probably irreparable damage given the level of yellowing but the buds continue to grow and thicken. Cheese has absolutely exploded and looks great. It probably doubled in height last week with many bud sites on the 5 main stalks. Excited to see how it turns out.

4/5 - 4/11: I believe I gave her the last swap of nutrients she'll require this week, probably will be starting to flush sometime within the next week - week and a half. I really didn't expect the buds to get as big as they did in the end considering the plant grew alot denser on one side for some reason. In all the buds on the plant are huge all around and the only popcorn nug that I had picked off of it was during my defoliation in week 8. And you can see that all of the buds are pretty much the same size besides for Mr. Maincola.

Just About DONE! Probably gonna chop halfway through the week! Trichomes look great!!! This was very excited that it finished a week earlier than my normal grows!
