Grow4ever The buds are getting thicker and thicker. The smell when the tent opens is incredibly sweet. The lemon orange is sweet and zesty. I find Blueberry Muffin and Pineapple Express to have a very similar scent right now, both very fruity and sweet. I'm curious to see how they will stand out from each other later on.

Grow4ever So far, the buds are still the smallest, but they have a great sweet-lemon scent. Everyone is also struggling a bit with nutrient issues. I suspect it's a nitrogen problem, probably triggered by my pH level of 7, since I didn't filter my tap water at the beginning. I actually had a total hardness of 5.7, and the carbonate hardness was 5.2.

Grow4ever We are at the end of flowering week 8. As soon as the tent opens, a sweet wave hits me. The buds of the Lemon Orange are a bit smaller compared to the other strains. I'm really looking forward to the harvest, which I estimate will be in about 2 weeks :)

Grow4ever The last weeks before the harvest were really a rollercoaster of emotions. The weather, very humid and cold, unfortunately made it really hard for me. Bud rot in a cola of the Pineapple Express 😮💨 The cola was clearly in the wind shadow, so I hope that the fungus could only spread in that microclimate, but unfortunately, the spores are everywhere. Now everything is hanging to dry, and I have to examine the buds closely; later while trimming, I will take a good look at each bud from the inside. Also, the Lemon Orange has really taken a hit. The crazy color change happened within two days. I think it has to do with a dry phase with drooping leaves shortly before, where I watered 1-2 days too late. The soil life probably couldn't handle it and collapsed. Still, it has a really intense sweet lemon scent. Small but fine, I would say about my buds. Update after the first tasting. My absolute favorite from the grow. Flavor-wise, it's as smooth as the scent, I totally love it. I will definitely grow it again.
