📆 Week 14, 11 - 17 April 2024 11 April - Cut off all yellowing leaves. Reduced light power to 50%. Began the Flush. 12-13 April - Flushed plant. 14 April - Harvested plant and hung in closet for drying. 15-17 April - Continued to hang in closet for drying. 📑 I decided to trim this plant before hanging because of its size, and having the time to dedicate to it. Either way it would have been sticky. It will hang it for 7-10 days in a somewhat climate controlled closet with a RH 60% and temperature of 65 degrees F using a small fan for circulation. Then it will be cut and placed into 1 quart mason jars with Boveda 62% TerpShield, and burped daily until a RH of 62% is maintained for long term storage. Overall Grow Review: With all environmental conditions staying within ideal throughout the grow, I am impressed with the size of these buds and resin production. But she was not on the bigger side of the auto family varieties as far as yield. I contribute this to size of the plant. The breeder claims a height of 100 centimeters, where this plant only achieved about 75. Time of harvest from seed the breeder claims 65-70 days. I did have to add an additional week of flowering to get her matured due to the higher sativa genetics, but that was expected. The time of this harvest was 94 days (42 veg, 52 flower). Would I grow it again? Absolutely! As with any autoflower I’ve grown in hydroponics, they have taken this long, under these conditions, without any major manipulation - seed to harvest just over 90 days. The only major differences are size of plant, and type of bud - not time to grow and properly mature. I did not get the wet bud weight. I still can’t understand the reason for this number, it is the most irrelevant thing to add in this process because it just doesn’t matter. My opinion. Smoq Review: She has a nice profile of terps and the taste doesn’t leave your mouth dry. The high is very pleasant and makes you feel energetic and talkative, leading into an evening of good times. Having cal mag issues going to hit the grow store tomorrow am and see can I get some organic cal mag and see if that helps other than that no real issues 2/24 I’m going sit my dumb ass down and chill I did a defoliation and man I over did it I think it’s pretty aggressive and i don’t know what I was thinking I was just clipping away 🤦🏾‍♂️…… anyway got some calmag for the color issues only going 1/2 tsp see how that goes hopefully when the new growth and more stretch happens it’ll look a lot better I’m also bottom feeding the calmag hope that works too

Week 8 flowering give waters only

The past few days have been a bit of a rollercoaster. First we got hit with some insane storms that cranked the humidity way up 🌧️💨. Just when things started to calm down, a brutal heatwave rolled in, hitting 91°F (33°C) 🔥. The plant definitely had to dig deep to get through that combo. But hey, she took it like a champ 💪 and powered through this unholy trinity of stress: repotting, extreme humidity, and blazing heat. Growth is still nice and compact 🌿 with tight internodal spacing. No signs of deficiencies on the leaves either. Everything’s looking green and happy ✅. This week I fed her using 75% of the BioBizz feeding schedule . Since my tap water has a pretty wild imbalance between calcium and magnesium, I added about 10% distilled water and gave her a tiny boost with some MagMono. Watered about one-third of the pot’s volume, roughly 1 liter, with a bit of runoff 💧. pH was dialed in to 6.4. Depending on how she develops, a second repot might be on the table next week

My math on the nutes had been off, so should start resolving this week. For this change, I used 2gl of RO water per plant and introduced some cal/mag to level things off. This is also the first week of using big bud and bud candy. I'll only use the big bud for this week since it's supposed to be for the first 4 weeks of flower and this is week 4. Trimmed off a few bad leaves (after the pics) but not all so the pants wouldn't stress. The system has been adjusted to keep temps below 80 and humidity under 45%.

July 3: Great week for new growth and plants are starting to send out first flowers. Big stretch on height. About another inch of rain (2.5 cm) this week and soil has plenty of moisture. Today saw some amazing clear sky and strong sun. Expecting the flowers to start stacking. Still need to mulch around the plants. First resin smells amazing sweet and floral, similar to roses.

Day 9 above soil: Well they survived their 1st week above the soil and are looking fairly happy among the other girls in this Fast Buds fun grow. I have a clear front runner with #3 of the girls being the most developed and certainly the largest of the entire crop.. All factors bed sides medium are the same within the room and the environment is the best control I have had for any of my previous grows so there shouldn't be any "better position" or best of the nutes situation here either. Genetics obviously plays a big role but her speed is above what I expected and even faster than her sisters. They have had their 1st coco feed today and have been given a few waters throughout the week with the biosys tea. I have no real concerns on these triplets and see them growing nicely at the moment. The slight pale issue is not bad on these three so let's see what they can do when they get that organic gold into their stems.

Week 6 update: What up Grow family. These testers are growing fast and strong. Where in week 6 now and the swelling and ripening of flowers are going amazing. Still feeding 500ml/16oz daily as I've found that's the sweet spot for 3gal fabric pots for these. I'd say these probably have about 2 weeks left until they'll be finished. All in all Happy Growing.
