Outdoor coco 15g pots Progress: Lava cake is about week 6.5. Starting to ripen and get heavy. Buds are getting fat. Strong sweet cookie/ ice cream smell. Buds are getting more frosty. Buds are getting so heavy I installed a net on 3 of 4 and doing #4 soon. On my most mature plant - About 25-30% of pistils have turned color. Some trichomes are milky, none amber. Looks like plants are a few days apart. Marathon OG week 5 1/2. Still stacking and getting fat. Smells dank. Trichomes are showing up. The 20 gallon OG is growing into a monster. I’m still waiting for the heavy bud stacks…. Nutes: Bumping up ppm, the dry koolbloom and molasses, stopping regular koolbloom and grow. Looking to starting flushing the lava cake in a week or so. Feeding 2x a day; 3x on hot days. Weather: Had a good week of cooler temps until yesterday, when it was 97. Looking at hugs in the 80s this week, perfect. Pests: The moths and caterpillars are in full swing so I’m applying BT every morning. I’m working hard to reduce caterpillar 🐛 losses. We lost all of the top colas on a plant in another location 💔 . I’m only losing one bud at a time and not the entire colas so far. Wishing fat buds and monster harvests to all.

Hello. This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. I think I'm off by a week, it might be the end of the 3 week, but I'll leaves it like it is. It's sometimes hard to tell with outdoor plants , like autos, when they go into flowering, because when the plants go into their first week of flowering they don't show anything different.. It's in the second week that you can see a small difference. But I'll leave it like it is. OK. Got these girls into the main part of the greenhouse on Sun afternoon. Bent a few branches and broke one. Put a few paper splints on a few bent branches but they will heal. Measured them yesterday to find the tallest Plant #4, at 80 inches and Plants #1 and #5 at about 70 inches. Plant #3 is definitely different looking, More indica in that one. Lots of resin and smell too. Plant #3 smell of sour and gas but I can smell the biscuit smell and it can be a bit earthy too. The others are all sativa looking plants, and will probably take longer to finish. Hoping for no white powdery mildew to show. I can see it on some other outdoor plants now but not in here yet. OK. 7th week is here. They are good looking girls! Some weeks left to be finished ! Water 100 ml 2x a day per plant. Fertilization on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with the same amount of water. Light schedule 20/4 with 600 W and ventilation goes on when the lamp works. Day 52: All good, some yellow leaves can be seen at the bottom of the biggest plant it matures quicker than the others I think it started using the energy out of the lower leaves to produce more buds. I will remove it later. Day 55: I couldn't come yesterday so my friend did water them. I am here now in the morning ing. Flowers developing nicely among the stamps. The bigges one start getting yellow it matures quicker than the other ones. Day 56: I removed unwanted yellow and dead leaves and also tied the plant from different angles to get more light. They look good now, they are spread. Plants are really nice and the flowers keep coming! Now it is gonna be better air flowing and the light also reach deeper parts at the bottom and all over the plants!

This week I got the trellis frame set up and the ladies into there final pots (10gal) and will be receiving a veg tea today. With 4 more weeks of veg these ladies will be receiving veg teas for 5-6 more weeks with the last two weeks titrating from veg to bloom feed allowing nitrogen to still be added in the transition stage moving into flower allowing the plants to get a good healthy stretch.

D64. We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day. First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task. The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched. One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light. I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights. ------------------------------ D66. It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew! Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1. Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips. ------------------------------ D68. All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips. The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside. The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity. So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago. I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer. However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead. The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive. ------------------------------

D43. The first day in the second week of flower, everything is good in the tent. She might be small and stunted, but she looks healthy, vibrant, and strong. ------------------------------ D45. There's nothing to report, really. She is quietly doing her thing, and there isn't much for me to do at this point. The mushroom kit seems to have just died after harvest, and today, I noticed some mold and removed it immediately. It was a fun experiment that didn't work out as I'd hoped. Oh, well :) ------------------------------ D47. Zzzzzzzz... flower is so dull as there's nothing to do but wait. ------------------------------ D49. There's not much to report at the end of the second week of flower. Yesterday, the entire tent was without power, so there was no light or exhaust for five hours. Ugh! Fortunately, I was making some compost tea and discovered the lack of power when watering. I gave the girl 2.5 liters of compost tea and humic acid @ pH 6.6. ------------------------------
