Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Take 3 10th February 2022 Another Great week of flowering weather , even tho the daytime temps reach 40c the plants seem to be thriving 😀 with this one in particular 👌 I have not needed to add anything to this soil I made which goes to show that I made it almost perfectly this time around. One major difference to this lot is that I grew a crop of sweet corn in it last summer , followed by a full bed of leafy green vegetables such as Spinach , Kale , Silverbeet , Lettuce and Chard. I am now seeing the first signs that the girls need more but I am still waiting for the Guano to arrive 😏 Despite this She is cruising along really well and I predict a harvest in about 7 weeks . Step by step: 1- let 100ml of water rest for 12 hours 2- Add the seeds and leave for another 12 hours. 3- Using a clean object, push the seeds down. Leave for about 48 more hours. 4- After that, place it in a jar with paper towels and leave it for another 24 hours. 5- Use jiffy cells for another 48 hours until the first leaves open. 6- finally I remove the screen from the jiffy cell and place it in the final vessel.

Week 9 of flower, the buds are still showing white hairs and 50/50 clear/cloudy trichomes. Buds getting too heavy to hold themselves up! Tried out using a single scrog, I would definitely use two nets going forward.

😴This week has not been full of events. After severe defoliation and transfer to flowering, the plant gradually came to its senses, overgrown with foliage and grew by 3 floors. It still eats well, there are no visible problems. 👉Solution: Water 170ppm, 8l Silicon 4 ml CalMag 2 ml Micro 7, Gro 7, Bloom 5.25 pH Down 5.5 ml Total 753, 5.6 🙌The plant quickly absorbs nutrients at the time of pre-flowering, so the amount of substances in the solution quickly dropped from 730 to 600 ppm, I added back to 750, next time to 800, and finally reached 900 ppm in the week. I really like the intensity of the absorption of substances, it promotes active growth and mass gain, which is what I need!

Hey folks, Late update this week due to a big rain store we had last Friday. It called for 5mm of rain which equated to about 3.6L of water for each plant! A bit much for young plants with a small root system, but the good news is that the smart fabric pots did thier job to help dry out the soil. Since our last update, I have topped and defoilaited the damaged leafs from my f$%# up last week. Girls are healthy and show no signs of slowing down. I also started some basic LST with 3D printed plastic clips! They work great and I will be modifying them a bit to provide me more angle selection. If you guys wanna know more about these clips please let me know. Other than rotating the pots and doing some regular maintenance, everything looks good, gnat traps are up and so far there are no signs of them which I credit keeping the topsoil dry. I have not water the plants and it is calling for rain tonight into Thursday, so it seems like mother nature is doing God's works of water my plants for me :). Another easy week for the chibans. I feel bad i did not include little chiban 2 in the diary. She was topped a while back and is much much smaller then her sister but her structure and growth i am pleased with. Glad i kept her now.. Number 1 is just a monster!! i cut her i have snapped and bent her but each time i come out the next day and she has just repaired whatever i have done and im sure if she could she would be holding her middle finger up at me as i walked in!! She is huge (relative to the space i have) I have never spent so much effort on past grows maintaing the perfect enviroment as i have on this grow and what it has shown me is huge.. Get this right and it seems they just do their thing.. Now she is flipped and in pre flower i am a little scared of what she will become.. Good job my tiny grow space is over 2M tall. Feeding is strange as they dont want too much. At the start of potting i mixed in ecothrive charge into the substrate and i have to say this stuff is amazing. I gave the first feed of nutes to these i think a week ago and it was a weak mix of grow and it gave them talons on the leaf tips which i took as a sign of N toxicity. So i think i could have stretched another week out of just water and beneficials. I will remember for next run. thats it really, i will be keeping an eye this week on the enviroment again as previous weeks and watching for any changes in requirements.
