End of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Got them outside... A bit late this year because of the weather. Cold nights. I put a heat sink in there this year to help keep the temp up at nights. 40 gallons of water is under the table. 8 - 5 gallon containers. I'll get them out of there when the weather gets warmer at night. The plants sure look happier in the last pictures that were taken this morning. The soil is 5 gallons of Sunshine Mix #4 (70% Moss) and 5 gallons of compost out of my composters, and mixed them. When I transplanted the plants I surrounded the root balls in the Sunshine mix that has neutral ph, so the roots will grow into the compost and not get burnt by the hot soil right next to the root ball. I added another 3 gallons of Sunshine mix to do that, and to top dress and fill the pots. All the plants have about the same amount of soil in their new pots. Just rain water for now. There is lots of food for them when the roots get to the compost mix. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

I think she's bulked up a bit this week. Just waiting on trichomes, this week they have just started to go milky.

Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. So we got some very bushy plants. I topped them three times and trained them sideways and the plant focused it's energy on growing out sideways.

Buds are starting to get really fat on 3 of the 4 plants. No amber on the trichomes yet so it will be a few more weeks till harvest at a minimum. The one that did the most stretching is just starting to thicken up on the buds. Been having issues with my drainage system causing a bit flooding in my tent. I see a few signs of deficiencies on one of the plants but I can't properly have access to it to see what is going on. The 4x4 tent has proven to be just too small for these thicc ladies. After this grow I'll be getting a much bigger tent. Any recommendations?

She is growing nicely and she has been really easy to grow. The only problem I have been having is humidity issues off and on bc of the weather but I added an extra inline fan. The buds are coming in and im just making sure they fill the scrog out.

Hi all hope you enjoyed the week. Because my Gorilla Glue Autoflower has got a good week. Grow slowed down a bit made to 28cm on all 4 main coals. Buddying started to accelerate and I can see her been happy. Did pull her a bit more this week with light Lst because off overcrowding off leaves and bud sites. Even problemen gehad met de ph-waarde, waardoor er waarschijnlijk geen correcte voedingsopname was. Mijn planten werden lichter van kleur en sommige bladeren werden zelfs duidelijk geel tussen de nerven.😕 Ik ga er althans vanuit dat dit het probleem was, aangezien ik eventjes kraantjeswater gaf voor de cal en mag maar dit niet afzuurde. Vandaag testte ik de ph-waarde van het kraantjeswater met mijn nieuwe ph meter en kwam ik uit op 7.2, niet goed voor kokos dus. Ik schakelde meteen weer over naar regenwater, wat met voedingsstoffen in mooi uitkwam op ph 5.8👌 Hopend dat ze zich herstellen, update volgt. De groei gaat gelukkig mooi door!💚 Update 11 mei : 2 planten toonden magnesiumtekort door vorige ph problemen met kapotte meter. Je kan dit nog zien op de foto's tussen de nerven. Intussen kokos aangevuld met kieseriet (magnesium) en geen Epsomzout omdat ik dit een lapmiddel vind en liever op lange termijn werk. Na problemen met de ph en substraat gespoeld te hebben, nu ook weer voeding aan het opbouwen👊 Planten stonden hiervoor buiten in een kas, maar hier kreeg ik de luchtvochtigheid niet onder controle (bleef boven de 80 zitten). Ze zijn nu verhuisd naar hun nieuwe verblijf, mijn schuur waar ik altijd kweekte. Buitenkas was een test, maar is dus geen goede optie👎 Op de foto's en video kan je zien dat ze nu veel beter wonen🌱 Update 14/05 : Eerst laten herstellen van magnesiumtekort. Fimmen + LST gestart. Ik leg mijn planten graag plat💚

Week 6 - Veg - her nutes have been upped to 2ml of grow, micro and bloom and feeding every 3rd day now.

Last week of flush now up until harvest, cannot wait to try these. The buds have turned out so nice. I’ve got a temperature controller to keep the temps consistent. Going to get these cut as soon as the tricomes start to turn amber! That’s it and 1 down now, drying until a branch snaps next to chop will be the lemon pie and then finally the other diesel. Cannot wait! I will update soon with the yeild and smoke report!

Started out great as a seedling. On week 3 things I used cheap clips that jacked things up and after a certain amount of time passed I decided to transplant it to Fox Farms Strawberry fields soil where it quickly went into flower shortly after. I chopped 77 days after planting the seed. It produced 47 grams dry of amazing flower. The smell is incredibly pungent -sweet and citrus scent. The high is great as well. After drying for 8 days they were then thrown into a grove bag for an infinite cure until consumed.

Going well, have a small light burn on one of the Skrilla colas..sad, but must soldier on. Still very frosty. Colors are developing in the hair now and there is a noticeable change in each cultivar. Nana Glue developing a red-brown hue and delicious Earthy, creamy terpenes. Skrilla is packing on weight and stacking, lowers are crowned in orange hair. Smells like Like Jolly-Ranchers. PLCG is packing on some weight, all the buds are getting that spherical addition. Also, some of the frost on the leaves, termed 'frost rails' by a friend, have begun to turn a nice pink color. Let's see where this grow goes this week. Maybe some color or weight. The smell is very good. PLCG is like a scented highlighter, very lemon. 🍋 The Skrilla is like a sweet and sour candy, quite delicious. Nana glue is Earthy and cream, very rich.

Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

Dramatic weather here, 2 violent storms have hitted my tent without mayor damages. I've bought a high density polyethylene film from farmer supplier, God blessed for this choice. Strong. But I've made a great mistake on Thursday because I was very busy cropping and curing Royal Gorilla that I've forget to water the sisters. I've watered them on Friday just before I started putting up the tent and the storm started with 90% humidity. It has become a tropical greenhouse, so to avoid mold disasters I drilled some side holes and raised the lower edge. Fortunately, on Saturday my little ones managed to dry themselves well thanks to a little sun and a dry wind. I've learned the lesson. Now that weather is a little bit better but colder I've realised that my plants now love to live under a greenhouse, flowering is accelerating. Saturday check after the storm, bud by bud, revealed to me a single rot spot on minor side branch completely obscured by upper buds and fully soaked by water. I've removed the affected part carefully, no metastases around. Some branches start to bend down by weight, buds are enormous. Now under the greenhouse plant is restarting to flower well, as notorious Special Kush don't like too much sudden changes of temperature. Do not want to repeat mistakes done with Royal Gorilla so the plant will be cropped only when 100% ready, not a minute before, not a minute, I think on Wednesday or Thursday if dry. We are talking about of more than a pound of shit! P. S. need some help from you guys to trim Royal Gorilla, need to smoke less, that shit has no respect! 😁😎
