🌸 Week 7 Flower – Crystals, Aromas & Monster Buds Welcome, friends, to the final pre-harvest chapter for our Mango Kush sisters. Week 7 Flower is where everything comes together: weight, density, aroma, and frost. And let me tell you — these girls are absolute monsters. ⸻ 🌱 The State of the Sisters • Pheno #1 – The trailblazer. Her colas are enormous, dense, and sparkling like snowy peaks under the lights. The macro shots reveal a glittering layer of trichomes, covering buds, sugar leaves, and even little fan leaves near the canopy. She’s showing phenomenal resin production, and her pistils are thick and curling. • Pheno #2 – The younger sister, but catching up fast. Her buds are dense and sticky, the frost is appearing more heavily, and every macro shot reveals the same dazzling crystal coverage. She’s slightly behind Pheno #1 in maturity, but don’t be fooled — she’s a true powerhouse in her own right. The smell in the room is so strong that if it weren’t for the carbon filters, we’d probably be calling the fire department thinking someone baked 100 mango pies at once! 😅 I mean the frost on these buds? Looks like Mother Nature had a snow day in the grow tent — pure white crystals everywhere, like the plants are wearing winter coats in July! ❄️ ⸻ 🔬 Trichome Watch – Macro Details Week 7 is all about trichomes. Here’s what we’re seeing and monitoring: • Clear trichomes: Still present, mainly on the lower bud sites, indicating some time left before peak potency. • Cloudy/milky trichomes: The majority of bud surfaces are now showing full milkiness, a sign of peak THC potential. • Amber trichomes: Small percentages on the tips of pistils — this is the first sign of cannabinol conversion, giving the slightly more sedative effect. 🌱 Educational takeaway: Trichome inspection is the golden key to deciding harvest timing. Macro photography helps us see nuances invisible to the naked eye. Here we go, 4 days before harvest time. Last 2 days, light will be off. Cant wait to cut those ladies down :)

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

The smell.... amazing... Looks like I have ended up with 3 purple phenos and 2 green phenos out of these 5! These are stacking up nicely, however, they seem like they will end up being smaller plants than im used to. Just kind of staying low and slow. They have a long ways to go, so ya never know! They may gain some size, but they better do it soon! These ladies hit the HPS light this week, at 750 watts. So we will see! Some BEAUTIFUL purple flower!

Giorno 35 fioritura Le piante stanno abbastanza bene. Purtroppo iniziano a soffrire il caldo (ho impostato il condizionatore a 25 gradi altrimenti poi congelo io hahahha) visto che le temperature esterne toccano i 40 gradi e non è facile mantenere in temperatura perfetta l'ambiente. Il box ha qualche punta di 30° ma bene riesco a stare intorno a i 28/29° massimo. Non vedo l'ora di fumare le due Rainbow Belts. Mai avuto questo mix di odori (Lime, uva e Zkittlez) e se penso che dovrò ancora aspettare due mesi la cosa un po' mi rattrista. Le due piante alla fine sono diverse. La #1 da quel poco che ho visto in giro sembra abbia più la forma della Zkittlez mentre la #2 dato che ho fatto la Mooonbow#75 ricorda molto quei fiori in quanto a consistenza. Staremo a vedere... Anche le due Zombie niente male affatto. La pianta #2 quella più compatta ha un odore forte di incenso (cmq sembra di stare in chiesa per capirci) mentre la pianta #1 sa di Kush e lavanda. La Milk Monkey aspettiamo. Per ora è l'unica che non mi dice niente :( Ci vediamo settimana prossima 🖐️ 😎

Después del cambio de solución y con el agregado del h2o2, explotaron... los nutrientes siguen estables y madida que pasan los días mejora el PH, en el cuarto día de la semana noto que han consumido +o- 7 u 8 ltrs de agua. Por ser mi primer cultivo creo que de momento va todo bien. Todavía los olores están controlados. Pero si siguen creciendo así no se como llegarán al fin de la floración, no me queda mucho margen para mover los led. Termino la semana con un PH ideal, nivel de EC en 1,7 y agregué nutrientes a la solución.. consumen mucha agua o se evapora...Y con a triste noticia del mas grande de todos los tiempos! AD10s DIEGO!

Provedl jsem extrémní defoliaci své jungle. odebral jsem téměř všechny trochu větší listy pro snížení vlhkosti, lepší proudění vzduchu. Světlo nyní svítí na všechny květy. Bohužel jsem narazil na nějaké škůdce které jsem před defoliací objevit nemohl . Většina napadených listů byla odstraněna a zbytek jsem postříkal vývarem z tabáku.

Week 6 of my Runtz Fem Green Sensation test with/without using Plagron soil. The mother will be raised on Xpert Nutrients. And then when I take clones in the next week or 10 days. I'll be growing them as close as possible using Terra line from plagron. Days 35-40 Plant is really starting to push. Making sure to not the soil dry up. I only topped yesterday, so I'm hoping the nodes will start growing now. Giving me 4 sets. 1 row ( 2 sets/4 clones) will be taken. And from those 4 the 2 best rooted will be grown very similar to this using Plagron & of course Green Sensation with & without. I'll be using separate 9L pots once rooted to give them a good few weeks of veg without any need to uppot to bigger veg pots delaying the veg. Xpert Nutrients continues its amazing job. Seeing real growth now pushing it on. I won't bother doing any major fan leave removal until their nodes develop a bit more. Nutrients have been kept low. As its only been put in fresh grow mix a few weeks back. Mainly my focus is on roots, calmag & silica for stress. As you can see. I'm getting a very nice pheno for cloning. Day 41-42 She's moving along at a much quicker pace since topping 3 days ago. I think I'll have to remove fan leaves. As it continues focusing on growing leaves. 3/26/24 3 gal pots amended with 8 Tablespoons of Gaias 444. The last time I was growing was about 3 years ago and I had always wanted to try Gaia green but it wasn’t available in the US. So I’m excited about getting to try something, previously unobtainable. 3/31/24 end of march and end of week and one veg. They haven’t grown too much. I switched them to their final grow space in my garage, from the warm bathroom in my house so I think they are getting used to the environment finally. Finally getting the environment dialed in for them. The garage on its own is a stable 50-60*F and RH 50-60%. I thought that would be easy to control with minimal swings. The light didn’t bring the temp up as high as I thought. Things are dialed in now and they should start taking off.

We will see, we hope... littlest two different ladies in same strain.
