Day 79 - The start of week 12 and she’s coming towards the end of her life. Her leaves are all starting to fade and she’s almost completely milky but I want more amber so I’m thinking another 1-2 weeks and she’ll be ready. Until then she’ll get plain water and one more watering with Calimag and Sugardaddy to try and give her one last boost. Day 80 - Well this girl will probably get chopped this weekend. She’ll get one more drink of water with MagiCali and Sugardaddy tomorrow and she’ll dry out till chop. I wish I could get good trich pictures but just won’t work but she’s about 10% amber right now so at the rate she’s going, chop day will be sometime this weekend. Day 81 - She’s really starting to fade out now and getting more and more amber in her. I really wish the buds would fatten up a bit more but the ones that are there and there are plenty, are pretty damn dense so not complaining. I gave her one last watering with calimagic and Sugardaddy and might end up giving her one last plain watering before harvesting but either way she should be ready by the weekend. Day 82 - Nothing much to speak of today, she’s gonna get the chop this weekend, she’s got more and more ambers popping up so just gonna let her dry up now and most likely chop on Saturday. Day 84 - The end of week 12 and haven’t decided if I’m going to chop her today or tomorrow. I’ll decide a little later today but just got some last updated pictures and will update again once I chop.

The flowers are growing and as 10 days are passed from the previous subministration of micronutrients, I added them to the nutrient solution. The plant reacted well with the nutrients.

The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment. with this I start my first grow in 2021 and based on the success of gorilla glue from fastbud, I have chosen to start the year with a team auto flower. And the choice has fallen on gorilla glue 4 pcs. Wedding cake 3 pcs and 3 pcs glueberry, with a plan to have them ready in mid-March. so the tent is free to start the outdoor projects up in the beginning of April in the tent, so they are ready when the heat has entered the ground :) the growmediet consists of 40% peat from the last grow (cocos choir with root system) 40% compost from own garden, 10% Bio Bizz Premix, 4% perlite and 6% Vermiculite. (the peat already contained a little perlite / vermiculite) I have deliberately chosen to add compost that was between 80 and 100% composted, as I think it will contribute CO2 together with the coco peat and so far it looks like my thesis seems to hold water and I expect to be able to wait to add more CO2 to the flowering period. (Co2 is currently high around 1200 ppm and I ventilate regularly during the day as Co2 rises during the day) the temperature is around 23-25 ​​degrees during the day and between 20 and 21 degrees at night. I have chosen to set the light to 19/5 and raise it enough to 20/4 when the sprouts have come up. I reckon that will try to make some LST on the GGs and probably also on the 2 new varieties. OH. MY. GOD. Smells like chocolate, berries, and skunk. I cannot stress the absolute crazy terpene profile on these man. I am STOKED for harvest in about 4 weeks. A very long growing strain but worth the wait! Bought some rock resinator and starting next week will be using it for a couple weeks before flush and harvest!

I can only say it again and again, the buds look beautiful, and it was very pleasant to cut in terms of the leaf / bud ratio 😍. After standing in the darkroom for 48 hours, it was finally harvested 😝. The buds were all sterile with Tool trimmed neatly by hand ✂️. Then they came back into the darkroom on the net, where they are now gently dried for the next 7-14 days at 62% humidity and 22 degrees temperature, before they are first put in jars with Boeveda pack 62%, which takes another 2 weeks is exchanged for Boveda 58%. Other than battling some bud rot on both the Mimosa x orange punch plants are doing good. I've just been cutting a couple buds with very start of rot im going to harvest the mop#1 next weekend and the mop #2 the weekend after. The buds are getting big and the trics are super sticky and frosty. I'm just starting to see some amber trics on the mop #1. I've been reducing the ferts slightly on all the mop #1 had its last fertilizer 8 days ago. I've made a canopy for the plants for when it rains as every time it rains i get more rot no matter what i do I've tried shaking them blowing lightly with a leaf blower. But its too be expected with strains that produce big heavy buds.

Blue Dream is on her final push of ripening. I have cut off her feed and she is just on ph water now. She smells great, but is smaller due to colder conditions with winter. My next update will likely be the harvest.
