Plant is slowly taking to the soil. Water only with 50% Orca and 50% Great White Mycorrhizae to help build the root zone. I am unsure my exact CO2 ppm as I don't have a meter. I'm estimating it to be about 1000 ppm as I have several CO2 additions inside my tent. Purchased a 3rd TS1000 to increase the overall photons and light quality

Add me on IG for daily grow updates and other awesome content @wrongholn519 So this week has been really straight forward. The mimosa cake I have is starting to grow rapidly and is in good overall health. I plan on starting LST tomorrow... after seeing photos of other people growing this strain I've decided not to top her (unlike the cheese auto in my tent that I topped with extremely positive results). I sprayed Doktor Doom this week to eliminate the fungus gnats I got from the Promox 'soil' (I mean....probably, I always do when I use Promix organic as a base). A few days after I applied the Dr Doom I watered in beneficial nematodes to help combat any pests in my grow media. I purchased a Mars Hydro TS1000 to add to the other 2 lights in my tent. I can now run peak at 750 watts in flower. I purchased an Inkberg humidity controller on Amazon today and I plan to set it to 65% RH when it comes tomorrow. I created my own CO2 generator bottles to help in the photosynthesis process. I'm going to look into getting a CO2 monitor in the future when the time is right. I watered twice this week adding Orca and Great White Mycorrhizae both times to help stimulate the root zone. From now on I'll alternate to every other water with my micro additions.

She's not really stretching out at much as I was hoping, but she's in good health overall. Key takeaways from the week: -Fed with Orca and Great White microbial additives this week -Continued LST training with the side branches. -Added Sensi Cal Mag at a rate of 1 mL/L -Purchased and installed an Inkberd humidity controller to maximize VPD -Added CO2 additives -Increased daytime and nighttime temps by 2 degrees Celsius. Goals for next week: -Continue LST training -Introduce a compost tea feeding -Continue to monitor and improve VPD and environmental conditions. The other plants in my tent are doing much better than this one. I'm going to pay extra attention to her in the upcoming weeks and try and get her caught up to the others at her age. Its been a great week to be a grower! Please feel free to follow me on I.G. for constant grow updates @Wrongholn519 A note on last weeks goals: - I was able to implement a compost "extract" made out of compost, organic soil, organic liquid kelp extract, Great White & Orca liquid mycorrhizae.. it was a great success!! The girls really responded well to the mix............ - I continued to improve my environment as much as I could. My humidity is holding steady between 60 and 65 % to accommodate the vegetation process that most my plants are currently in. I will slowly decrease it by increments of 5% bi-weekly starting next week. I purchased a CO2 meter to start monitoring my homemade CO2 generators. They are generating 850 - 900 ppm steady; not at much as I had hoped for. With that in mind I plan on creating a third canister/generator to try and push me past 1100 ppm. This will help my plants consume more light & nutrients and hopefully lead to a higher quality medicine............ - LST has been successfull and I plan on continuing the training next week........... Next week's goals: - Increase CO2 concentration to a level above 1100 ppm......... - Continue LST training...... As I write this I think I'm currently on day 30 or 31 above soil... I can't remember off the top of my head and I can't check my logbook because I'm at work 🤣 smoke another one eh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is a fun strain to grow so far.. my tent is overwhelmingly stanky already; the journey through flower should be an exciting one.

A note on last weeks goals: - I continued to play with the CO2 generators in my tent to increase my concentration to as high as 1050 -1100 ppm. At the end of this grow I may install a rotometer and a CO2 bottle instead of making my own. Please see photo #8. - I continued the LST training this week. Instead of trying branches down I started using stainless steel nuts and bolts to tie at the END of branches to help hold them down. I ended up taking a lot of vegetation off of the plant this week, she seemed to be choking herself off with how thicc she got lol. To see photos of my LST training and defoliation please see photos 1-4. I wanted to show off some of my grow gear this week too. As a professional process operator I feel my success lies within my tools & corresponding procedures. -Photo 6 shows my microbial additives I've used to help keep my soil alive. -Photo 7 shows my watering gear. I use pH pens to accurately gaute my hydrogen ion concentration in my water. I also use TDS meters and EC meters to monitor my water and a digital thermometer to check its temp. I take my plants out of my tent and put them in the big tote to allow for the water to fully drain before putting them back inside the tag tank. I also get a chance to fully inspect each plant in this process. -Photo 8 is my CO2 meter -Photos 9 and 10 show my venting set up for my tent. I put two holes thru my wall to allow me to put the piping in thru the other room. I keep my exhaust on the FLOOR and my intake on the CEILING of my tent for maximum air movement and CO2 contact time. -Photo 10 just shows my humidifier and dehumidifier sitting outside my tent inside the room. Next week's goals: - Increase light intensity slowly - Continue LST and defoliation - fight the few fungus gnats that I can see These fungus gnats are driving me crazy.. if I pay them, will they go away? 🤣 all seriousness though, I think my homemade CO2 generators might be attracting them. Most my plants are really happy right now. The 2 youngest ones I had were mutations and I'm thinking about pulling them which is something I've never done before even when I've had a bad plant. Live and learn I guess! Happy growing everyone

Hey everyone sorry for the tardiness in updating my journal. I caught covid 2 weeks ago and it put me down for a bit. I didn't get to spend the time in my garden I normally do. Things are getting back on track right now. Currently on day 50 and the mimosa cake has been growing well for weeks now. I've had to take a TON of vegetation off going into flower just to give it a chance to breathe. She just got fed a compost tea heavy in coffee grinds and kelp extract.. the leaves are getting a little light and I am late in responding.. she took the feeding well and I plan on doing it again this week. I've raised my night time temperatures and I've increased the intake fan to push more cool air through my tent. I plan on taking more vegetation off the plant each time I water. I find the plants react better if i only take a few leaves at a time rather than all of them at once. There's tons of bud sites I have high hopes for this lady 🤞😅

It's been a wonderful week to be a grower! The fruits of my labour are really starting to show. The mimosa cake keeps surprising me... it's bushy composure, it's strong branches, thick stock, the lengthy veg... all good things. This plant has pretty good genetics, I'm really hoping it starts thickening up in the next few weeks considering I'm on day 60-something (smoke another one, eh lol). Process/Environment changes - I've been slowly turning up the intensity on all 3 lights.. the ts1000s are at about 75% and the sf4000 is at about 80-85 % - I've been trying to lower my temperature inside my tent to prevent from burning off any terpenes due to high heat.. temp is now 25 deg C (78 F). - slightly raised the pH of my water for later flower - maximum air circulation now.. all fans are turned up - I'm lowering my humidity when lights are off to keep VPD within 1.0-1.5 range.. humidity ranges from 45 to 55% depending on the time of day Still feeding compost teas and slowly removing all the fan leaves and larf on the bottom of the plant. Thanks Fastbuds ☮️

I've had to make a few changes this week in order to maximize my environment. At this point in flower the goal is to raise pH of my water and lower temperatures inside my tent.... high temps can help burn off terpene profiles. Overall she has been looking pretty light and I've decided to feed her with Advanced Nutrients pH perfect bloom. Planting in a 3 gal bucket just doesn't cut it if your planning on growing in super soil/ organic soil. Since I've fed with AN, I've also increased the CaMg dose.. she really enjoyed the nutes. I will probably feed once or twice more depending on how long she wants to grow. I'm anticipating 90+ days to harvest at this point. Compared to the runtz, Blackberry and cheese auto, the trichome production started pretty slow with the mimosa cake. It's starting to stack on now and the smell has intensified 10 fold in the last week. Process/ Environment changes: - Turned back down my exhaust fan.. it was turned up way too high and my carbon filter couldn't keep up with amount of air bieng pushed thru it... the smell in/outside my house was unbearable... - I Harvested my cheese auto (see videos), so I turned down one of my TS1000 lights, which decreased the temperatures inside my tent. - Like I mentioned earlier, I fed with AN bloom nutes to help keep her healthy. - I've been taking off more fan leaves and bottom larf, bit by bit every day I'm on auto pilot at this point. I included photos of my outdoor grow space.. I plan know replicating this grow outdoors this summer. I also bought a rosin press, and I plan on smashing nugs for days when all these plants are ready ☮️

It's been another easy week in the Fastbuds tent. I've spent most my energy preparing my outdoor grow space for a wild summer. At this point, there's not much I can do except water and watch my plants grow. I've added videos of other plants in relations to the mimosa cake just for visual aid. I also added a photo of my cheese auto.. it's still drying! With the Mimosa cake auto I've been taking fan leaves off slowly for weeks now. This is a very busy plant. She is also going to run later than I expected. She's on day 76 and I suspect 95 to 100 days to finish time. I'll have to keel feeding her bloom nutes for the next few weeks; her 3 gallon bucket ran out of nutrients already. Feeding schedule: water, feed, water, feed Step 1- I'll take an aeration stone and use it to remove the chlorine residual in the water... this only takes 8 - 12 hours depending on water temperature. (I'm a water treatment process operator, I have checked several times in the past with my own Cl2 meters). Step 2 - add Calmag Step 3- add bloom nutes Final step - pH the water accordingly (very important that this is final step) A TDS residual of 500 ppm equals roughly 1 E.C. (I just double it)

It's been a fairly uneventful week in the 5x5. I cut down my Blackberry auto the other day and I've been thinking of getting seeds ready for the stuff I plan to grow outside this summer...With my currents cycle of plants being deep in to flower, I have time to look forward at upcoming projects. The Mimosa cake auto is one of those plants currently deep into flower. She's been giving off a dank smell of earthy/fruity/spicy terps. She is extremely dense and sticky to the touch. I find myself cutting fan leaves off daily due to her busy and stout stature. The only down side I have to her is the fact that she's going to take around 100 days from germination to harvest. Process/ Environment changes: - Turned off one TS1000 after I cut down the Blackberry auto. I did this to try and cool the tent down. Higher temps outside creates an increase I'm ambient air temp in my basement. - Fed Advanced Nutrients Bloom nutes at a rate of 1.5 mL/gal - no longer using a fish tank water heater to heat my water reservoir due to increased ambient air temperatures in basement Trichomes still mostly clear... I'm on day 84 post germination today as I write this.

I'm going to keep it short this week. I am ready for harvest at this point, I'm just waiting for the space to free up in my drying zone.. I'll be harvesting by Friday Process/Environment changes: -No food for the last 5 days or so. I want a good healthy fade. - I've turned off my 2 TS 1000s, i don't need them anymore and I'm trying to keep my temperature down inside my tent.

It's been a very simple grow cycle for this Mimosa Cake auto. I started with a super soil and eventually started using bottled nutrients to get me to the finish line. It's been almost 100 days since germination and the finish product is a really stout & bushy plant with a dense flower composition. I will dry for 8-10 days at 65-70 degrees F and 55- 60 % relative humidity. After that she gets put in mason jars indefinitely. Advise for growing this strain: - Utilize LST techniques frequently - Stay on top of defoliation, she gets really bushy - She seemed to really like CalMag at full strength in compost extracts Thank you growdiaries.com Thank you growmies for all your advise Thank you Fastbuds
