well I overfed boom and veg dry amendments waited 2 weeks instead of 4, by accident. I now have a K potassium toxicity which will always express as a magnesium deficiency. The salts side would flush the pot at this point, However, I am organic and instead I am going to give the plant the magnesium it is looking for allowing it to process the K faster. This should resolve the issue without flushing. If you have to flush an organic soil then its pretty much just wasted mix it into fresh mix at least 50/50 and start again. Basically flushing is not an option in organics.

So start of week 9 and start of my flush only using flawless finish at 2ml per litre every time I water 🍒🍒🌱🌱☮️☮️🍒 still using lst added another net to open her up and they have exploded with buds this ones defiantly a giver 🍒🍒🍒🌱🌱🌱coming to the end of week 9 had to put some more netting up to open these plants up there literally staked with bud from to to bottom opening them up has increased airflow through the plant after a couple of hours I could see this had helped they look geat I think

Curling is still a problem still :( A rainy week so high humidity all around... looking tasty though! Buds are getting bigger and sticker!

Week 1 of flower and the stretch has begun, I don't think these girls are going to stretch very much as it a indica leaning strain plus this light is intense even tho it's so high as you can see from the video clip, I'm not doing any leaf striping or any training im just Gona let them do their thing, FAST TURNOVER so far I'm happy

The girls are doing great. Some are much further along than others which is a little worrying. Seems like some are in week 4 while others are ending week 2. Hoping for a dry mid October for the late finishes

The climate in december / january is very hot and wet in my region. Temperature above 32°C and RH between 60/75%. Flowers have almost no smell. I think this weather is the cause of terpenes degradation.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! Day #08 - The seedlings are going pretty well into week #02. This week FloraMicro will be added from General Hydroponics, I've started using this since my last growth. I use the hard water version and I really like it. My plants seem to do definitely better with this nutrient added, so I decided to always use this nutrient together with my other nutrients. I also decided to try the FloraGrow and FloraBloom nutrients from GHE, as I've seen very good results with the nutrient line of GHE. At the end I will also use their Ripen, which gives the plants growth boost in their buds at the end of the blooming phase. Day #09 - I decided to give the ladies a little more water, so I raised the water amount to 0.25 liters per day. Further on, everything is going very well! Day #11 - The little ladies are going ver, very well if you ask me... Growing like a charm, at the end of the week I must be able to top them without any problem. Day #14 - I wanted to top the girls, but I decided no to do that, as not all the plants have reached the right height. So topping is postponed until tomorrow.

Day 36. Still no feed.... Again, difference in size growing many autos is HUGE pain. One Northern Lights is smallest plant I ever grew, I doubt I would I achieved it with loads of LST ;))) Will try to lift that midget a bit ... Some flower, some not, Diesels are still the only strain I would grew, but most probably not once ;))) they look amazing !!! 10 out of 10 ! Green Crack still the obvious looser at the moment and is still mostly in veg ... Next watering will be full of goodies for them !!! Couple leaves off here and there, couple branches cropped or repositioned, still waiting for stretch to be over before installing some support. Day 37. One more girl took SuperCroping like champ and at the moment has very even canopy. All garden looks fine, hope feed won't spoil that joy ;))) Day 40. Girls still on water, but during every two days, so it's again pain ... Whatever pot size I take - girls start to go faster, than my laziness wants :))) Cleared bottoms of first row, next watering will clear other 5, just want to see are they ok. Some strains hates any job done to them and stops developing.... Would be stupid to slow them down in final stretch ... Happy Growing !!!

The smell is really intensive and Skunky now which gives back memories from high-school, apart from the Canna nutrients she receives some Tea's which is provided on interval.

Day 56: Gave the girls another plain watering pH adjusted to 6.5 then added Mammoth P @ 67°F. Not fading as quickly as I'd thought they would. Chopped the Triple Cheese today and moved our Gelat.O.G. into the open spot in flower. Breeder specs show 50-56 day Bloom an I think last run she may have went too long. Plan to be in the garden 8/5 (Day 58) and hoping to see some more fading and swelling going on. The aromas on the tent are absolutely tantalizing. I will try to get a few more photos for ya'll. Day 58: Did some minor defoliation in the veg tent and took photos. I decided today I would upload unfiltered and unedited photos. Enjoy! Day 61 of 12/12: I noticed seeds in the Skunk #1.😭😭😭 Possibly other plants too, but I was mostly on the lookout for the flowers to tonight. I noticed a single banana popping out of Purple Queen. I decided to harvest all but the Strawberry Amnesia and the Blueberry. I will get pictures soon and update with harvest deets. I need to take a closer look to see what plants may have been pollenated and if there are any other nanners. I did have a timer fail (which has been replaced) at the end if week 1 of flower. Not sure if this could be the cause, if I let her go too long, or if it's just the genetics. I am hoping for minimal damage. I'd be interested in a Purple Queen x Chenobyl cross. Think the seeds would be prone to hermies or would ya'll toss the beans in the bin?

Just started to give them full dose of cal mag, mammoth p and recharge. Their leaves got a dark green shiny, yellow tips and curling down, I think my ppms are too high and I will start flushing it out to 1500. I am growing in organic and only feeding cal mag, mammoth p, molasses, recharge and every other week a compost tea with living soil girl flower power full dose. Ph Is around 6.7 and giving it 6.5. Hopefully the next time they are read for a flush I’ll fix these.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song.
