This year we’re going for some big BIG outdoor plants. My goal is basically to get these plants as big as possible. How? - starting early indoors (germinated 10/04) - trainings a LOT, I’ll be mainlining two, and heavily topping and LSTing the other two. - transplanting to outdoors mid may, and staying in top of training. -feeding organically and giving the ladies lots of space I’ll only keep 3 out of the 4 plants, so the weakest will have to go when i move them outdoors. Germination went great this week, all had roots in 48 hours, and showed their heads above the soil within another 24. They stretched a little while i held off putting them in the tent, but now they’re happy with a light, heating pad for the roots, airflow for thick stems, and currently bottom-watering.

Quite an unremarkable week, growth was slow - as expected - while roots were finding their way through the soil. Near the end of the week I noticed two plants bending over slightly. I've been correcting this by bending the stem back every now and then; this lead to those stems thickening up significantly compared to the other plants! Makes sense as that kind of stress is similar to airflow, and we know that increases stem strength too. The plant with the thickest stem (which is the one i bent more often) has started to grow significantly faster, but that's a few days after i was supposed to upload this diary, so I'll report more on that next week ;) No pics, but i finished prepping the soil outdoors and I can see some white clover coming through! If I hadn't mentioned yet, im planning on moving the ladies outdoors in about a month from now, probably just under. I'm hoping growth speeds up more the coming week, and hopefully I can top end of the week (I know, very optimistic). And happy late 4/20 everyone!

I grewed them last year and I can tell you, if everything works fine, you will get a big, big harvest! Most challenging will be to prevent them from breaking when the plants are big and and you have stormy wheather outside. In the end you must take care of some mold which can happen. If the plants are big you need a ladder to control it. 😀Good Luck!

@birdmountain, thanks for the reply, glad to hear they’ll size up well. You had some fine looking plants, i’ll see if you can beat you in size ;) I’ll make sure to support them well, thanks for the tip. Good luck with your own grows!
