27/02: the plants that looked wilted in the previous week have come back to life as they are being fed 1 litre of water now - it was an underwatering issue. all plants including the ones that were lagging behind have exploded with their stigmas and there are plenty of bud sites throughout. humidity is still a bit of an issue though I am installing an industrial sized dehumidifier into the grow tent as of next week. again there is some over crowding though I do not want to stress the plants by taking too many leaves at this stage. will give it at least another week before another trim. plants are on average around 30 inches high. reacting well to the nutes and all is going well.

1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. She seems to be doing very well.. Water change day tomorrow.. YAY!! will get a good picture of the roots and see how she is doing. 1/27/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 3- Water Change Day! I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. I added 36 Gallons of Water I added the following Nutes: Silica = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil CalMag= .75Mil/Gal= 27Mil FloraMicro = 4.2Mil/Gal= 187Mil FloraGro= 3.8Mil/Gal= 137Mil FLoraBloom= 3.0Mil/Gal= 108Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil EPSOM- 1 big pinch 1/28/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 4- I cleaned her up just a little bit on stuff hanging down. I also made sure the PH is balanced so she could soak up the New Nutes. 1/29/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 5- I Got sick, Possibly food poisoned.. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/30/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 6- I was still to sick to go to my grow room... Possibly food poisoned.. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/31/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 7- First day back.. Her PH was down to 5.72 so I raised the PH back up closer to 6.0, I took a few pictures and got her height.. Feeling better through prayer so was able to get some pics today.

Day 28: I got home from 10 days of holidays and these girls had cruised along as if I had been there with them the whole time. They are very happy, especially the middle one. The small one on the right has always been small, is what it is. She could be a stack little shorty. Time will tell. I did a feed today, top dressed according to Gaia Green at 15 ml/ gal of media which should last approx 2 weeks. I also added a bit more 444 just to make sure there’s enough N during this stretch phase. All 3 have pistols showing and are starting to flower. I was unable to train as much as I’d have liked but is what it is. Sometimes the more indica strains I’ve done are negatively effected by topping and excess training. I removed a couple huge fans that were shading too much of the plant. I also am trying a “super cropping” of top fans to get them out of the way but still save them as a nute source if they need. We’ll see how it goes. The Vipar spectra xs2000 is killling it as usual. As I’ve said 50 times it’s super powerful and I’ve had to raise the light above recommended height as I started to see leaf edge curl and light stress. No problem at all tho, better too powerful and raise it than too weak and have loose buds. I did a micro top just to stop excessive apical meristem stretch and leaving all the other lower branches too low for effective light absorption or burn on the top cola. Happy Growing 🌱

Sticky, strong smelling and starting to frost up some...

I am no longer going to be using the fox farm nutrient line not for any other reason than I just want to switch it up and go with something else before I go into flower. I'm not saying fox farm if a bad line, I just want something different. I feel fox farm is the line you go to when your first starting out and buying from Amazon, not downing anyone I've done it myself we've all been there and it works well for the price. But if you get their full line including Bush doctor and all it gets to be a bit mutch. I haven't went that far yet because of that, I don't want to feel like I have to buy 12 different nutrient solutions and when you do you find out you really only needed 5 or 6. Its for this reason I've decided to go with the Mills line of bottled nutrients their line up is 6 solutions total they are a bit pricy for the 6 one of the bottles being $120.00 US alone, but I'm also a firm believer in you get what you pay for and every resource and review I've seen makes me have high expectations for this nutrient line. Updates soon to come over the next few weeks as I have been currently flushing my plants for the past 2 days getting ready for the new neuts. I flushed with just straight water ph 6.0 the first day and again the next day (today Jul 25) and once again a few hours later with cal mag, silica and a little bit of recharge to help hold the plant over until I feed the new neuts and help ease them in as well. Plant 1 been staying bushy not as much stretch. Plant 2 stretch a good bit. They were both 18 inches start of flower. Bigger one is 30 inches. Changed my nut mix lower. Was a little strong missed two days of adding water. Started to show little sign of nut burn. It was 4.5 gallon low and ph dropped to 5.12. Ordered float valve so wouldn't happen again. They are finely getting hairs two days ago. Been working on cleaning out under the canopy. So I'm thinking one more day and plant 1 will be through the screen. Plant 2 almost has it grid full. Should be full by next week when I feed and post again. If you have any questions about anything just ask. If you see something I don't please tell. Happy growing see you next week

Wow honesty i didn't think the SpiderFarmer SE3000 are this good and with right soil and nutrution the spark good especially this Purple Punch Auto from Barneys farm, i really look forward to see those buds finished. I defoliated a lot actually ill let the other plant with a lot of leaves but this one i wanted to try to start cutting the big leaves to give less shade and more energy for the buds, i didn't top it aswell. But then for the mistery pack seed from Fast buds is doing very good. Well for the marking on the thick Indica leaves i am impatient to see what will happen honestly. So not like the other one she got topped and had a slower growth but now its getting better, ill have 2 indicas ready to cho soon enough ! Now the Purple Punch nutrients will change to bloom and i will add calmag aswell, the other one will still have the veg nutes but now the leds are at 80 percent power which will push into flower so soon i will change the nutes again. 🗓️ WEEK 5 / DAYS 29-35 (flo) 💧 There were no changes to the nutrient solution this week, maintaining EC 2.0 - pH 6. My main action has been topping up the reservoir with 5 LT of this solution every two days. 🌱 The stretching phase concluded this week, with the plant reaching her final height: 69 cm. She is now focusing on filling out her flowers, and her foliage is taking on a noticeably darker hue, typical for the later stages of flowering. At this point, there's less active work to do; the focus shifts to maintaining stable environmental parameters and ensuring the pH remains in the correct range to avoid stressing the plant.

This was the last week of the 18/6 cycle. The Pineapples have reached the scrog screen which I installed at the beginning of the week. 4 Pineapple Chunks growing 35 days(+ 4 days to germinate) seemed to be enough for this space. They've grown into beautifull indica's with large fanleaves and sturdy branches yet easy to scrog. Once this week I gave them tapwater with Plagron nutrients (ec 1.58 – ph 6.1). The rest of the week was ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.45 – ph 6.1) when they needed it. I sprayed them once with a CannaCure solution (15 ml CannaCure + 100 ml tapwater, ph 6) The week started with the cobs at the same wattage and height as last week (168 watt and 47 cm – 18.5 inch) DLI 34.4 – PPFD 531 On day 32 it got a bit brighter with 188 watt and a distance of 43 cm (17 inch) from the plants. DLI 40 – PPFD 617 and stayed like this for the rest of the week. The heating mat is turned of because temperatures are high enough. The humidifier has also left the room because humidity levels must be lowered in the flowering cycle. But that will be more important within a few weeks. Apple Fritter is growing good. I applied frest lst, and a defoliation. She is growing in a 5 gallon New Level Hydro bucket. Under a Spider Farmer SE5000 at 60 percent power right now. Yesterday I planted 5 seeds of Candy Dawg auto in a germination tray using all-purpose potting soil. They are now covered with cling film and are being kept warm. Prayers were said and thanks given for this, the first (serious attempt at an) indoor grow. The aim of this and subsequent grows is to grow high-quality organic indicas so I can make RSO to help my father who is extremely sick after mainstream medicine failed to rid his body of cancer. The video got cut off when the battery died - I just mentioned that flowering plants need their sleep as much as we do :-)). Day 4: 4/5 of the seedlings are above ground! I am making the most of my space by growing a quick batch of microgreens (sunflowers and peas) At the moment they are germinating in the large tray with the weights and bricks on it. It is really dry in there (35% RH) so I filled the tray with water in an attempt to increase the RH. If anything it has gone down not up!! Time for a new plan.

What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Blütetag 36 Die Gießmenge wurde leicht erhöht auf 2 Liter/Tag/Pflanze. Ich gieße aktuell alle drei Tage sechs Liter. Vor zwei Tagen habe ich einen Stamm gespalten. Die Pflanze verkraftet es gut und der Durst bleibt. An dieser Pflanze sind die Stigmata noch nicht ganz so weit entwickelt, wie bei den anderen Beiden. Vielleicht ernte ich Diese zuletzt. Trichome entwickeln sich gut und man erkennt bereits etwas Bernstein. Blütetag 40 An einigen Stellen sind die Trichome bereits bei 10-15% bernsteinfarbend. Letztes Gießen war nur mit Cal/Mag. An Blütetag 42 ein letztesmal düngen und danach gibts nurnoch Wasser mit Flawless flush.

Defoliation is like a mini makeover for our plants—it removes excess foliage, allowing more light to reach the lower buds and promoting better airflow throughout the canopy. Fo' Twenny here back with another update! I will be updating and uploading more photos through out the week. I hope you'll ride along and give me a follow! The deets: Feeding with .2 ml/gal of RapidStart and .2 ml/gal of SuperThrive, Adjusted pH to 6.5 and then add .25 tsp of recharge. 8/16 - 8 days post sow. All but 2 seeds have sprouted. I was especially concerned for the Melon Gum because I only had a 2 pack and both beans were quite pale. I gently dug around in the peat pellets and found the bean with a fresh, healthy tap root! I expect she should be popping up by tomorrow evening. The other bean yet to pop is the Jenny Kush. I was gifted 5 Jenny Kush seeds, and I will wait until tomorrow to see if she sprouts a tap root before popping another one. Hopefully, I will have more luck with the next one. Successful germination in 16 of 17 photoperiod seeds. With a total of 19 of 20 if you include the 3 autoflowering cultivars running along side. They're being documented in separate diaries and will stay in the veg tent when the photoperiods are moved into the bloom room. Go check 'em out! 8/20 Update: Melon Gum has sprouted. If you're not following my Zkittlez Auto diary, you missed that I almost killed this girl on accident. Graceful me, knocked over her solo cup and she got stuck to a sticky trap. Her stem split in half and I put a piece fabric medical tape to mend her and she is actually growing and doing well regardless of her injuries. All the girls, except Jenny have sprouted and are developing. I planted a new Jenny seed 8/18 and left the original in too, just in case.
