Dendegrow So the net is installed, lets wait until it is full covered and then going into bloom. I make this time a trial only to feed the Organe sherbet with Melass yeast buddermilk and sugar in vegetation. The yeast will produce the whole grow enough co2 to keep it up about 800 ppm only thing you have to do is to put some sugar in the feeding solution.

Dendegrow Week 4 is here, and things are going great! The Orange Sherbet is getting new soil this week—a blend of Bio-Bizz All-Mix and Greenhouse-Feeding, setting her up perfectly for the final weeks of vegetation and flowering. Additionally, the Orange Sherbet has responded well to the back yeast-buttermilk-molasses experiment, resulting in a significant CO2 increase of up to 1500 ppm. 💨 I'm excited to see how she adapts to her new environment. Meanwhile, the Frozen Black Cherries are absolutely thriving in hydro! 🌱 Their growth has been phenomenal, and I couldn't be more impressed with their progress. The flowering phase is getting closer, and I can't wait to see how everything unfolds! I'll keep you updated! 🚀

Dendegrow Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Willkommen in Woche sechs!

Dendegrow Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Drop a like and follow along for more grow insights 🌿✨. See you next week!

Dendegrow Week 4 of the flowering phase has arrived, and last week flew by 🌬️🌱. The ladies are thriving, and the buds are now clearly visible! ✨ The flowers are starting to turn darker, which is an exciting sign 🍒. The first trichomes are already forming, hinting at a very potent strain 💎🔥. While the cherry aroma hasn’t come through yet, removing some leaves revealed an intense, waxy scent – very intriguing! 🌿👃 I’ll keep you updated with daily posts. Drop a like and stay tuned to see how the ladies develop 🌺📸. See you next week!

Dendegrow Week 4 update! 🌱 Week 3 is done, and the ladies are now three weeks into their flowering phase. So far, everything has gone really well. However, one bud and the plants in the front showed slight signs of potassium overfertilization, which likely caused a calcium uptake issue and led to minor necrosis. No worries, though – today I completely flushed the entire system and replaced it with a fresh solution. With this reset, everything should be back on track 💪💧. On top of that, I decided to bring out an old Cree& Osram LED lamp as a booster. This will provide the two smaller front plants with more light intensity so they can metabolize the higher nutrient levels more effectively 💡🌿. Everything is looking great so far! Stay tuned, follow along, and let’s see how this journey continues 🌺📸. Woche 4-Update!

Dendegrow Last week flew by beautifully, and everything is looking great! 🌿✨ To test their stress response, I slightly reduced the ladies' nutrient supply. Now, everything is back on track with normal parameters, and they’re thriving again 💪. The excess potassium from earlier has had an interesting effect – the buds have become so heavy that some of the branches can no longer support their weight! 😅 I’ve already had to set up some supports, as you’ll see in the first video from day one of the new week 🎥🌱. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t forget to follow along as we watch these beauties continue to develop into something amazing! 🌺📸

Dendegrow Week 7 update 🌱 – the journey continues! Last week, the first signs of nitrogen deficiency started to show. I tried to compensate, but I might have slightly overdone it with the chemical nutrients. To correct things, I flushed the roots the day before yesterday, but it seems to have caused even more stress 😅. This is my first time working with hydro, so it’s all a learning process. I’m hoping everything will bounce back, and to avoid further stress, I’ll now only use potassium hydroxide to balance the pH 💧🌿. Fingers crossed that this brings the system back on track! At the end of the day, it’s all about experimenting and improving. I’m staying positive and keeping an eye on the ladies – they’re tough, and I’m sure they’ll pull through 💪🍃. Follow along for updates, and let’s see how this journey ends! Thanks for the support and good vibes 🌺✨.

Dendegrow The colors of autumn are in full display 🍂 – deep purples, fiery reds, golden yellows, and even shades of black. The garden is alive with vibrant beauty, a final burst of energy as the cycle nears its end 🌿✨. The plants are absolutely stunning, their buds sparkling with trichomes, and the aroma is mesmerizing – a sweet and fruity scent reminiscent of ripe cherries filling the air 🌺🍒. Week 7 is behind us, and while I managed to increase the nutrients again, it came a bit too late. The result? Potency is reaching its peak, but the potential for quantity has passed. Still, the plants stand proud, exuding beauty, sweetness, and character in every bud. As the holidays approach, so does the conclusion of this grow 🎄🌺. By the end of the week, it’ll be time to bring this chapter to a close – a moment to celebrate the journey, admire the elegance of these plants, and look forward to the harvest. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a fantastic start to the new year 🎉✨. Stay tuned for the final updates and the results of this colorful and aromatic adventure 🌿📸.

Resistance and Growing Recommendations – Frozen Black Cherry by Anesia The Frozen Black Cherry is an incredibly resilient strain that can handle a lot . For optimal results, here are some key recommendations: LST (Low-Stress Training): Highly recommended during the vegetative phase to encourage lateral growth and improve light distribution. Defoliation: 1-2 times per week during the vegetative stage helps improve airflow and light penetration. Fimming: Best done about a week before the flowering phase begins to boost growth and maximize yields. Bondage: LST should be completed before flowering to avoid stressing the plants. Topping side branches: Not recommended, as it can overstress the plant and reduce yields. During the flowering phase, the Frozen Black Cherry requires more NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium) compared to other strains. Proper nutrient management is essential to bring out the full potential of its impressive buds . With the right care, this strain rewards growers with strong plants, an intense aroma, and top-notch effects.

Dendegrow The harvest is in! 🌿✨ The buds have turned out absolutely stunning – dense, frosty, and bursting with trichomes. The aroma and flavor are something truly special: a delicate blend of cherries with a refreshing hint of mint 🍒🍃. The high is incredibly potent, deeply relaxing, and body-focused – the perfect companion for unwinding in the evening 🌌💤. These cuttings have truly delivered, and despite the challenges along the way, the results are impressive. I harvested them at the perfect moment, with fully milky trichomes, ensuring peak potency and a balanced effect 💎✨. Thanks to everyone who followed this journey – stay tuned for more updates and new adventures. Until then, enjoy the vibes and happy growing! 🌺📸

Enjoy the hydros. Did hydro for 10 years straight. Been doing living soil since. But just got 2 hydros built. Excited for some Hydro again!

Dendegrow commented2y ago
@Growyourhi, For me, it's just the other way around. But i can say indoors i will use only hydro from now on. There are so much benefits, only question that is left is, is the taste as good ad living soil or organic? I will reduce the nutrients in the last week step by spat istead of flushing, wish me luck and happy growing.

Hello & welcome to Hydroponic growing. Very nice garden you have. I think you will be very happy with the Orange Sherbet , & yes Fast Buds genetics are very hardy, I've tried all sorts of training & they have handled all the accidental damage I've done also, I've had branches broken nearly all the way through , hanging on by the outer skin & I've taped them up & left them & they repair themselves & keep growing. I deliberately lightly squeeze stems near top growth tip until you hear a slight crack & feel it also, as they grow every so often (HST) & it thickens & strengthens the stems to support the weight of BIG buds better & it also allows the plant to uptake more nutrients/ water. Happy growing . Clear your diary for the next few weeks as your going to be super busy with the upkeep on your scrog grow!
Dendegrow
Dendegrow commented2y ago
@HIAZ_urbanbudfarmer, Thanks for your helpful comment growmate. I will try this at least at one of them where should I squeeze them ? Right beneath the first bud (bottom) or directly under the headbud ? I had done this to all of them at the main stem (veg)to get the boost you've talked about but in early life stages. In flowering I am very careful and don't want to stress them to much as they are preparing for flower, but I will try it at one of them after you teller me the details.

Your plants look healthy and happy too. Even though I'm not a fan of autos indoors at all. Good luck with the terps. Hopefully, you get solid, hard buds and tasty terps without that ruderalis aftertaste. Happy growing, buddy.

Dendegrow commented2y ago
@Stony_German, thanks growmie, but the 🍒 are cuttings and the Sherbert sprouted outdoors in July and then came inside a bit too late 😅 it was a really stressful life for the lady. Her life began in a high voltage field 200kV that I let grow using a 1MV transformer and plate distance until it started to split; unfortunately, I no longer have the photos from the germination. This whole thing is based on the ciba gegy patent that I replicated at home. That's why I'm MEGA curious about what will come out in the end (Terps). The corn was definitely!

@Fast_Buds, thank you, I’ll definitely need the luck as my Sherbert has had quite an exciting life so far! I topped her at the second node, and after the side branches formed five nodes, I split the main stem down the middle and wrapped it in fresh plastic wrap to heal. Just before setting up the net, I topped and FIMed her again. I've also started an experiment with baking yeast and buttermilk to increase soil activity. I mixed 1 tablespoon of baking yeast with 2 liters of water and 50g of molasses. During the next watering, I added 2 teaspoons of sugar and 100ml of buttermilk in 2 liters of water. The goal is to let the yeast grow and stop supplying sugar letting it , allowing nutrients for bacteria to form. Besides producing ethanol (which can evaporate quickly if managed properly), the yeast also generates B vitamins and other useful breakdown products for microorganisms. I'll post a picture of her tomorrow 🙈.

Damn bro your setup is on another level! Good luck with the rest of the run! I'm especially excited to see the frozen black cherry, since I bought them as well

@Irati_Anesia, always happy to help! I took off a star because the terps are subtle, but that could also be due to the nutrients or it being my first time with hydro. That's why I have a clone now in living soil to get a comparison on soil.

Music for the ladies or was that edited in? ( Always heard plants liked music ) . Clean setup!

Dendegrow commented2y ago
@hightech316, Yes, when I'm with the plants, I listen to classical music. I like it.

In your video from day 26, you can see quite a purple-red light. Are you lighting it again with a special color spectrum?
Dendegrow
Dendegrow commented2y ago
@MrGoonai, yeah exactly, since the ladies have halftime today, I pulled out the old cree&osram (360nm/770nm) lamp and let it run for the first 15 minutes of every full hour from 12 to 19 as a booster.

@Irati_Anesia, thank you very much! After the mishap with the Sherbert, I'm now paying special attention to the cherries. I hope I can get them through well. I had a lot of disturbances with this setup that I had to find and eliminate one by one 😅

Ok, sounds like some very interesting experiments! 😎 Will you also do a little evaluation at the end?
Dendegrow
Dendegrow commented2y ago
@MrGoonai, yes, I will definitely evaluate the results 👨‍⚖️ and publish them at the right time 🌞. I will upload the field experiments during my next attempt in 2025 to let you participate in my private study. @Irati_Anesia, thank you so much, I'm also totally blown away by your black cherry 🍒 in DWC hydro. So far, it has ruthlessly exceeded my expectations. The ladies have all received different stress techniques, and I will go into detail about that at the end of the report!
