We are at 21 days from these girls breaking the surface and they are making progress. I noticed at the beginning of the week that they were a little overdosed on nitrogen so I added 2 gallons of tap water to the reservoir and adjusted the ph to 6. They are still looking a little heavy on N but their growth rate is going great so I think it should balance out by the end of next week. I dont plan on doing a water change until I flower them. I left the plants alone most of the week. Tied most of them down to spread them out and defoliated a few lower leaves on day 20. The branches on most of these plants are thick and solid already. They don't budge easily. Bananasicle is looking pretty funky with uneven branch and node growth but we are just going to push forward. Still pumping nutrients and beaming light 24 hours a day. I'm thinking day 28 we will switch them to flower and see if any of these ladies can bring some❄️🔥💨

🍋 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 7 from Seed Flower Week 3 | 12/12 from Seed Welcome back everyone — and welcome to anyone just joining the journey 👋 This is our Lemon Cherry Gelato update, currently Week 7 from seed, which we’re considering Flower Week 3 in our 12/12-from-seed room. There’s a lot to talk about this week, so let’s start by bringing everyone up to speed. ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run is part of a larger 8×8 mixed-genetics environment, where multiple cultivars share the same room, light strategy, and environment. The approach from day one has been: • low stress • observational • plant-led decisions • learning in real time No chasing perfection — just paying attention. The Lemon Cherry Gelato plants have been vigorous and very bushy since early on, with strong branching and dense foliage that required intervention as flower development began to accelerate. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way This week we performed a fairly deep defoliation, similar to what was done on a few other girls in the room. Why? • The plants were extremely bushy • Light penetration was becoming limited • Airflow needed improvement • Bud sites were stacking fast We removed a significant amount of inner and overlapping foliage to: • allow photons to pass through the canopy • improve airflow • help the plant focus energy where it matters It may look aggressive in photos, but it was done intentionally and carefully. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Structure & Phenotypes You’ll notice two slightly different expressions in the photos: • First photos → Lemon Cherry Gelato • Second one → what we’re calling the “other” Cherry Gelato Both plants: • very bushy • beautifully structured • incredibly lush green One plant showed some funky leaf expressions, but nothing concerning — genetics being genetics. Both were defoliated deeply, but not excessively — just enough to give them room to breathe. They are not alone in the room, and in a shared environment, balance matters. ⸻ 🔥 Minor Observations • A few burned leaves from under-canopy lighting • Nothing serious • Easily managed • Already addressed You’ll spot them in some of the mini photos. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding — Why We Changed Nothing This week, nothing was changed on purpose. Current parameters: • Day temperature: ~28 °C • Relative Humidity: ~65% • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm • Lighting: LED Many growers would say these temperatures are too high for flower — but context matters. Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature runs ~2–4 °C cooler than ambient room temperature. Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD. The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall. We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Response The plants are telling us clearly that they’re happy: • deep, lush green foliage • no visible stress • strong internodal structure • uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment. That’s why the feeding stayed exactly the same this week. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and Not Expect) Next Week What we expect: • visible bud stacking • calyx development accelerating • stretch slowing down • energy shifting fully into flower production What we don’t expect: • major environmental changes • aggressive interventions • unnecessary corrections Next week is about watching, listening, and letting the plants work. ⸻ 🙏 Final Words To our humble eyes, this garden is looking outstanding — but we’re always open to: • criticism • suggestions • questions • different perspectives Lovers, haters, followers, OGs, newcomers — everyone is welcome here. This is a shared space, and interaction is how we all grow. Big thanks to: • the GrowDiaries platform • the sponsors • and everyone who takes the time to read, comment, and exchange energy If you have thoughts, ideas, or see something we could improve — please drop it below 👇 Let’s keep learning together 🌱💚 📡 Please stay tuned they can try and take us down but we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@DOGDOGTHEDOCTOR NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. i was using bottle water since the firat day but dint realise that the water was filtered (probably) and had only 7mg/l of calcium ,mag and iron. Instead of buying cal +mag (which i will buy for my next grow) i checked other brands of bottles water and found Evian that has 80 mg/l calcium ,25mg/l mag (i know its not worth it but i was feeling safer to use "bottle" water at the begining because it was also phd at 6.5) so my question now is : plant had a cal+mag def . Considering that before i was giving it only 7mg/l of cal+mag now that im giving it 80mg/l of calc and Around 40-50mg/l magnesium just by changing water brand also 4 ml of alg a mic that has cal+mag + molasses that iv started this week 1(tablespoon has around 100mg of calcium) .Do you think it will be enought to fill the needs of the plant? As i said buds are still growing normally and plant has another 14-17 days to still fatten the buds :) Today if seen some orange hairs on them . thank you thank you.

This week it's all about the 8 White Widow clones, rooted well in shallow water bath with .5ml pH perfect Grow in the water. Long roots sprouted through the rockwool and they didn't seem to be inhibited by the 50w led. Now transplanted into their 1L pots with fresh soil substrate, no additives. Transplanted 2 clones into rockwool now in 1 pot, see how they (Cerberus) develops. Harvested the clone cuttings on 24/8/2020, took approx just over 2 weeks (17 days) to develop the long roots seen in the pics above. Kept the water feed fresh every 3/4 days to prevent algae build up. Switched to 12/12 11/9/2020 Unfortunately, I had to pull this grow, it was painful to ditch the plants as the grow was going well but i had to move house and couldn't take them with me.

August 31 - Day 35 Getting there. Everything is basically the same besides the topping I did on August 29th (Day 33). The girls were on their 7th node going on 8 and I topped 3 down to 5 nodes and 1 to 6. Lost at least 5 days to a week in growth on that. But I didn't feel like they were growing enough daily to top them sooner Temp - 78 Humidity - 63 Wattage - 110 EC - 600

Our #17 or rather this new creation by Seeds Mafia that we are growing with love is starting to get serious. autoflowering like this. We have started with fertilizers for growth which we give in reduced doses together with the rooting agent for the entire vegetative phase. Music of the week provided by Radio Nula from Slovenia. https://radionula.com/ Thanks to friends of Seeds Mafia try this and their other creations seeds > https://seedsmafia.com/en/ Light and tent > https://marshydro.eu/products/marshydro-sp3000-led/?lang=it

Hello everyone hope you staying cool Cause the weather is over 100 degree and everything is drying and dying. We really need some rain! Anyone with the heat wave I trying keep this gals water up. The biggest one drink water like no tomorrow, well both of them. I give them a tea liquid compost 3.11.11 of organic fertilizers. Just to keep up with the flowering stages she using up a lot nutritions and I’m glad that I was on top of my game with these outdoors grow. Not bad for novice first timer. My family love them. I’m keep in the sun as thst will help with resins production and the bees are doing a fine job pollen them.

Hey everyone 👋 Here's this week's update: Matcha is still small and I believe she'll stay like this but at the time she's doing better compared to last week, so that's a win. I wonder, did I do something wrong? Was it the lack of CalMag or maybe the heat? Maybe I got a weird phenotype? (I doubt this) or what else could've happened to her? The truth is there are tons of different things that could've caused this and I wish I could know what could've caused this (I'll be making a grow question regarding this). Pistachio on the other hand is doing well, she's huge compared to her sister and she grew a looooot this week! Some leaves are slightly dark and some tips are a bit too bright as well but there's no signs of burn so I assume she might be on her the limit! Personally I suppose the mycorrhizas might be the ones at fault in here. They make feeding more efficient so probably the "normal" dosage might be a bit too much for them... and for that reason alone I decided to lower the amount of Green Grow that I was using, hopefully that will help. 🙏 I also decided to give 10 weeks of vegetation to these plants. Hopefully Matcha will grow a little more during this time (she's still at 20cm) but at this moment I expect nothing from her, I'll just allow her to surprise me haha. 👻 Thanks for reading! See you all in the next update! 😃
