SundancerS New round, new luck, after the Apple Fritter didn't germinate, the Cinderella Jack broke through the soil after 6 days. 😁

SundancerS The little princess lives up to her name. Comes out and stays 2 cm small after a week. Something new. One might suspect that it could be due to the now old genetics. Modern strains are many times larger under the same conditions. We'll see how it goes. 😱
SundancerS In the last week, she has gained a lot of biomass to our delight. :-)
Still, she is relatively small. That's why we decided not to top her and not to do any LST on her. Later on, we might try some HST, but for this first attempt, we'll let nature take its course. The Cinderella is supposed to be one of the most beautiful plants -- We'll see :-)

SundancerS Today was photo day at the start of the new week. She has surprisingly gained weight and gotten a lot of new leaves. This is our first plant that isn't topped, and she's really developing a true affinity for the light. :-) Not topping her was the right decision!

SundancerS Now it’s getting fragrant!"
This week, Cinderella has officially decided to grow up – and you can see it. The first bud sites are sprouting like little optimists from every side branch, shouting: "Here we go!"
She stands wide, confident, and incredibly vibrant, like someone who knows their new hairstyle looks great. :-)
The leaves show a rich, healthy green, and the buds are beautifully compact, a sign that light, air, and Biobizz nutrients are forming a real dream team here. The upper shoot tips are reaching straight up and seem to be already making plans for the coming weeks.
Overall, Cinderella is starting the flowering phase with plenty of power: stable, bushy, vigorous, and with the unmistakable ambition to really ramp up in the next few weeks. This is what a flowering week 1 should look like, energetic like the starting shot of a fragrant marathon.

SundancerS Our Cinderella has started the second week of flowering healthy and is already showing the first white pistils, clearly indicating that the flowering phase has officially begun. She is in the stretch and visibly growing taller, with her side branches well developed and evenly distributed. The foliage looks strong and lush green, without any signs of stress or deficiency. The feeding with Biobizz seems to be well absorbed by her, everything points to a relaxed start in this phase. Overall, she gives a vital, confident impression and promises an exciting week ahead.

SundancerS Cindy is growing quite well. Unfortunately, a few shoots had to be removed today, but the remaining ones now have more space. She is super structured, almost like a well-trained plant. So far, she is very easy to handle and recommended for beginners.

SundancerS Today Cinderella got to move into her own castle... um... tent.
It was, of course, generously cleaned by the last resident (Sex Bud) beforehand.
She continues to develop well, and the buds are growing steadily. Her thirst is also increasing.
She should have reached her final size now and (hopefully) will only grow wider. :-P😁

SundancerS Our Cinderella remains, despite a brief growth spurt, one of the more delicate plants. Currently, she is steadily and continuously building her buds. Everything is great with our princess. All in all, it’s been a rather calm and good grow week. 😏

SundancerS Still a relaxed and trouble-free grow. Since the lady is unfortunately becoming unstable due to increasing bud mass, we had to support her a bit. That's why there are no more pictures in front of the "photo wall," but directly from her tent. 😅

SundancerS The lady has developed heavy and sprawling buds. We had to use tomato clips and bamboo stakes to help her get back into shape. It's nice to see how much she's bulked up in the last few weeks. She also sticks like a yellow sticker. :-) Otherwise, she looks healthy, has the first amber-colored trichomes, and is starting to show some fall colors. We're giving her 5 days. This will definitely be the last report before her harvest. :-)
Cinderella Jack (Auto) „Cindy“.

SundancerS Before hanging to dry, Cindy only needed a little "preparation." We just removed the largest leaves, which was a bit of a challenge due to the unstable plant stems.
- Princesses can be a bit sassy too. - :-)
Hi there growmie! I’m doing a small research on real-world feeding schedules for BioBizz nutrients in Light·Mix, especially for autoflowers. Your plants looked very healthy, so I wanted to ask: 1. Do you feed nutrients at every watering, or alternate feed and water? 2. About how many times per week do you feed? Thanks and happy growing! 💪
@majklsoft, we are watering our plants every 2nd day with nutrients. We are watering round about 2-3 Liter (full flowering) and we mix the nutrients directly into the water. :-)
@Sundancers, mmm, yummy. 😋 Is that Biobizz made from fish intestines and fish bones? Powders?
I also let the surface get dry (it's not coco, it will be fine )))) 😁 but the fungus gnats will get dried, and the plant will not lok pale because of sick overwatered roots. I guess roots get sick or just cannot cacch the oxygen in the substrate if it is always wet. I heard that you should not dry the surface when you grow in coco. What would you call your substrate in simple words? Mine is peat with humus, but there are many components ie lime soil, peat, vermiculite, coco and 4 manures. Many big worms live in my pot, really. I mean big worms which reach 15 cm. They are simply from my garden, and I will not change them because they are locals, i.e. already adapted to all sorts of terrible local pathogens (at least 25% omy substrate is the local lime soil from my garden. I'm lucky I've got this type of soil for free, while many people in other non-lucky regions on our planet have to buy expensive bags of my soil. I could grow in that soil alone just by using sulfur granules + manure + maybe pH down.
PSS I suppose I could try growing even in coco+vermicompost. Would you risk?
@HumanCompanion
Yes, when the surface is too wet, flies form. That's why it's good if the surface isn't constantly wet. However, the surface isn't the problem. The problem is waterlogging when there is too little or no drainage possible. This should be avoided, as it "suffocates" the roots.
Again, we don't grow with Coco, but with Light and All-Mix from Biobizz. We use 90% new soil for every grow.
Here's the full load of information: https://biobizz.com/
We have no experience with Coco, so we can't give any tips on that.
😀
