Due to the proximity of winter, humidity and temperature dropped, which will facilitate the flowering period. The plant is starting to give off a little smell and is also needing more water. However, I am concerned with development, we think the buds aren't getting fat enough. Maybe we expected the flowers to be bigger at this point. As this is my first grow, I do not have a reference of how the plant should be. Overall we're optimistic, and we'll expect in the coming weeks that she will gain weight.

Day 84 (day 21 flower): Major defoliation on both the Brain Cake and Bakers Delight. Both the ladies are getting sticky! The Brain Cake smell is pretty neutral but the Bakers Delight has a bit more smell and reminds me a bit of a Tangine Kush (Rare Dankness) I grew a while back. Changed the water reservoirs to the flower bloom booster nutrients (Plagron green sensation). Day 86 (day 23 flower): They seem to be coming along nicely, a tiny bit of progression in the buds since defoliating. The Bakers Delight is more sensitive to nutrients so added some tap water to dilute the nutrients a little (TDS 510 -> 470). Day 87 (day 24 flower): Both doing well. The Bakers Delight seems to be reacting positively to the slightly lower nutrient concentration. Both water reservoirs between 5.7 and 6.3 at all times and around 20-21c. Day 89 (day 26 flower): Everything seems fine, water stats are stable, for as far as I can see no deficiencies or excess, bud are growing in height and seem to be producing nice amounts of thc giving the buds a slightly grey color. Some of the pistils are turning orange very early, might be due to stress the past weeks, or the new full spectrum light or just genetics. The Bakers Delight currently has a stronger smell, also a more peppery background. The Brain Cake has a neutral fresh 'plant material' green hash smell, nothing special going on yet with her odor. --> Slowly been hanging the light closer, at 50cm from the Brain Cake and 60cm from the Bakers Delight, will slowly lower till its approx 40cm from the Brain Cake and 50cm from the Bakers Delight (because the BD is 10 cm shorter...). Hopefully this will get the top buds to get even bigger and stronger and hopefully aswell the bottom buds will pull some weight and most importantly the bottom buds need to ripen as fast as the top buds which is usually the main issue when they dont get enough light... Curious to see how it plays out. Might need another minor defoliation around day 40-44.

Day 24 - Thursday - Added 3ml of A+B , 100 ml of water , ph ok 👍 Day 25 - Friday - Moved into the IWC Oxypots (19l) - Changed to Bloom Nutrients - EC 1.7 (+1.2) , ph 6.2-6.3 - Did a bit of defoliation - see pics Day 26 - Saturday - Added approx 200ml of water, ph ok , EC ok Day 27 - Sunday - lazy day , didnt have to do anything , now they have big roots its all keeping an eye on the ph Day 28 - Monday - added 2 litres of water + 3ml A+B , did some more defoliation. Last week, first of flowering, was outstanding, I could water the girls regulary and the work paid off they stretched a lot and are looking super healthy. The girl right below the upper fan is suffering a bit with the shadows and is notoriously shorter than her sisters, I will need to rethink the air circulation for the next grow. Another concern of mine is their height, hoping they dont stretch anymore as the lights are already at maximum possible height inside tent and there is only 20cm gap between it and the plants.

Week 7 of flower and a couple of notable developments following the last update. The WPM issue of course remains but, after only 2 treatments with the sodium bicarbonate the plants have really responded well. That aside, we are seeing some early and potentially progressive signs of nute burn. We’ve topped off the res. Twice with just plain water but history suggests that you gotta be real careful with this to avoid having the opposite problem as well. Closely monitoring for signs of other issues as were really close to the finish now and do not wanna fuck this up… er… again 😬. The colours are starting to show nicely on em now too which is making Id on the burn a little more difficult to discern. Can’t wait to get this one done and finished so we can move on to the next adventure. Based on bud development, we should have no issues with cross-pollination as the males in the other tent continue to mature. About 2 weeks there so should be safely at the finish with these girls by then.🤟. Alls well in paradise yall👍😎👍.

This variety is extremely productive with an incredible flower / leaf ratio despite its large size. Welcome to Friday- Start of week 4 veg. Today I adjusted the ph in the reservoirs from 6.3 to 6.0. Ppm under 800 so no added water. Damaged leaf seems to be from a magnesium deficiency, so I’m foliar feeding and bottom feeding with a mixture of CalMag. Doesn’t seem to be getting worse. My foliar feed consists of 5ml/g of CalMag, 30ml/g of seaweed extract, ro water and ph’d to 6.0. Daily Light Integral at 35. Lamp is 18 inches above and dimmed. Extra scrog net has been purchased in case I decide to run two levels of screens. Lowered the SCROG screen and wove branches laterally to encourage filling up the screen. Saturday: raised the lamp by 2” to 18” above the tops. Adjusted dimmer targeting a 30 DLI. -Checked nutrient reservoirs and ph is 6.2 and ppm at 780. Added .5ml of ph down to each reservoir to bring reservoir ph down to 5.9. Not topping off today. -Foliar fed at lights off, also sprayed for bugs using Captain Jacks. Sunday: defoliated below the screen and removed inward facing fan leaves that were blocking bud sites. Lowered ph in reservoirs from 6.4 to 6.0. Adjusted fans so they run faster under higher temperatures. Monday: REPLACED NUTRIENT SOLUTION. First replacement in two weeks. New solution ml/g is Micro (6), Bloom (9), seaweed (30), 3% hydrogen peroxide (10) CalMag (3). 6.1 ph and 1200 ppm. Drained reservoirs and added new mixture. Added RO water to drop total ppm below 900.Plant looking good. Tuesday: scrog net canopy filling in. Supercropped a few branches and wove branches under nets. Switched all lighting to 12/12 for flower, so tomorrow will be the first week of “flower” as I post here.

Servus Moin! Die Mentha De Croco #1 wurde heute getoppt. Ein wenig früh. Aber die anderen im Anzuchtzelt werden auch getoppt. Mal schauen wie sie es verkraftet.

Die Pflanzen bekommen so langsam Farbe in Violetten bis Rosa Tönen. Alle sind jetzt übermäßig harzig und die Blüten werden immer dicker. Die Meringue hat schon jetzt steinharte Blüten. Bisher ist noch kein Zeichen zu erkennen daß die Pflanzen ausreifen. Heißt es kann fröhlich weiter gehen mit dem Blüten bilden
