deFharo Welcome to the third week of life of this Siamese seedling. The two stems continue to grow and strengthen, one much more than the other. I'm going to wait to see how this mutation turns out; in the end, I can always cut the weaker stem or train one stem with LST... I'll see. In a couple of days, I'm going to transplant to the final pot. The numerous roots at the base indicate that it's a good time, and this way I shorten the vegetative growth period, which I want to set at a maximum of 7 weeks before moving to flowering. The strain shows vigor, water consumption is already high, for now, good substrate hydration with structured rain and mountain water at 50% (EC: 0.13). That's all for today. deFharo Welcome to the fourth week of life of this Siamese strain with sativa dominance. A week ago, I transplanted this seedling into its final pot. This time, I'm using an old school white square 7L pot with homemade aeration. The substrate mix is made with very porous new soil that facilitates root mobility, mainly composed of peat and coconut fiber, with extra perlite, vermiculite, zeolite, and river sand to ensure good drainage, 10% worm humus with leonardite to give structure to the soil and provide humified material. Additionally, several powdered minerals, mainly clays that provide silica (Montmorillonite, kaolin, and illite) and improve cation exchange, which means better nutrient absorption. I conclude the mineral input with basalt, pumice, azomite, and phosphorite. I also add 5% of my activated biochar with microorganisms and solid mountain microorganisms, and finally, 1g per liter of soil of my auxins in powder form to help with rooting and the creation of adventitious roots. I give a thorough watering, just with water, in the small pot before transplanting so it comes out easily and doesn’t crumble. I let the excess moisture from the original root ball expand into the surrounding new soil. After 24 hours, I've done the first deep watering with mountain water and molasses to activate the substrate's microbiology... the best water is when you drink it with thirst!! 😁😁 Next, I add a good layer of mulch with dry matter to maintain moisture at the top and help feed the microbiology and the creation of adventitious roots from the very first centimeter of substrate!! There’s practically no transition or blockages after the transplant; the roots are used to the moisture and it’s now when they grow the most. The main task is to ensure homogeneous and stable moisture throughout the substrate. For now, I keep extra moisture at the base of the pot to encourage the roots to quickly explore the entire height of the pot. A week after the transplant, the seedling is turning into a plant; it has started forming the fifth node. I’m keeping the mutation of two heads to see how it turns out, although there’s no symmetry in the growth of both; one is much more vigorous and clearly the main one. I will probably do an apical cut this week. Nothing more for now... The plant continues to establish itself in the pot and is growing vigorously, although it is a bit stretched at the moment. I've tied the second stem to see if the energy is directed to it more efficiently, as it is growing with somewhat twisted leaves. Today I made an apical cut above the sixth node to slow down vertical growth a bit and encourage the growth and strengthening of the lateral branches. Water consumption is increasing, a sign of root expansion and good metabolism. I expect a bulky growth this coming week due to the apical cut and the growth nutrients I've started giving it. deFharo Welcome friends to the last week of vegetative growth, the fifth week from seed of this sativa-dominant strain with a mutation that is causing it to grow two stems at once, one of them marginal, but I hope it at least produces one bud and continues to beautify the grow. The plant hasn't backed down after the apical cut from last week and has continued, without pause, vegetative growth with a lot of vigor, growing in height and expanding large leaves, although for my taste it doesn't have the compactness I wanted, with shorter internodes, so today I switched it to flowering with 13/11 hours, and I'm going to keep it at least this week in the grow cabinet with very white lights to slow down vertical growth as much as possible and strengthen the lateral branches. The plant has greatly increased its water consumption, going from a weekly watering to three this week, the roots are spreading as I expected, the plant looks very healthy. deFharo Welcome friends to the seventh week of life of this sativa-dominant strain, the first week since switching to flowering schedule. Today marks a week since the schedule change, from 18/6h to 13/11h. I've kept the plant in the growth cabinet this week with very white lights, aiming for compactness or at least to slow down the tendency of the crop to grow vertically. So far, it's working; the growth this week has been more noticeable in the foliage density with some centimeters of vertical growth (5 cm). I hope that with the light spectra in this cabinet, the branches strengthen and the distance between nodes decreases. I will keep the plant in this cabinet for one more week before moving it to another with more suitable spectra for flowering, although I suspect that as soon as I make the change, the plant might stretch a lot. For now, the leaves are expanding to protect the plant from the light and capture a lot of energy. In this grow, I've also accelerated two processes to reduce the growing time. The first, where I transplanted to the final pot at 3 weeks of life; I usually do this operation between the fourth and fifth week. The second, the switch to flowering at the sixth week; I was previously transitioning my crops starting from the eighth week. As of today, I think I will continue transplanting at the fourth week to ensure I have a stronger root system at that time and that the establishment in the final pot is quicker and more efficient. This shouldn't prevent me from continuing to switch to flowering in the sixth week to control the size of my crops, as I don't have much space and I like to have space between the plants in the same cabinet. The water consumption, which indicates the functioning of the plant's metabolism as well as the development of the root system, is good and increasing; I water every 3 days, without letting the substrate dry out completely. deFharo Welcome everyone to the eighth week of life of this sativa-dominant strain, fifth week since transplanting, fourth since the apical cut, and second since switching to flowering schedule 13/11. The grow continues to look good, although this week it only grew 2cm, but its leaf mass has increased... pre-flowering has begun!! 😍 Water consumption is moderate, I water deeply every 3-4 days. This week several important actions in the grow: - I moved the plant to a new cabinet and lights, now in my beloved homemade cabinet 60x40x125cm with Tneon 2x55w 2100K and Tled 23w 2700K, 3000K, and 660nm on top and a 50w COB LED with 3000K and a 90° lens providing intense light from one side. - I trimmed some of the huge fan leaves to improve air and light entry into the plant and focus energy on the buds. - Two foliar applications with horsetail extract to prevent the appearance of fungi and strengthen the plant, as I’ve seen signs of mold in another grow... this week the humidity rose a lot and the temperature dropped. - Added solid components (organic and inorganic) on the surface of the substrate. - Specific waterings to promote the growth of the crop. The plant shows a good structure, with an increasingly stronger stem, and I hope to soon see the buds explode all over the branches; there’s still a long way to go in this grow, the secondary stem isn’t thriving much, let’s see how it continues to behave. The grow is progressing, 6cm of vertical growth and it has increased its leaf mass, some floral buds are starting to show, and the leaves have completely stood up compared to last week. The second stem is still shapeless, but I love that it's there!! The water consumption for this grow has been, until two days ago, low, but now it has doubled... I'm giving it plenty of light!! This week only one watering... WEEKLY ACTIVITY 😳 The plant has consumed 1768ml of water in the last 7 days, 25% more than the previous week. This week I watered with 1000ml. - Day 65. Foliar application with soluble sulfur to prevent fungi and pests. - Day 67. Watering mix with activated mountain microorganisms (MMA Basic) at 0.5%, molasses, fruit Biol (Vitamins, minerals, and a variety of nutrients) with Efficient Microorganisms (MMA, BAL, Mycorrhizae) at 2.5% and Ormus at 1%. This week I received a new grow tent measuring 60x60x140cm, which has replaced my previous one of 50x50x100cm that I mainly used for vegetative growth with very white lights. I've moved this grow into the new tent. The homemade cabinet of 60x40x125cm, where this grow was until the change and which I dedicated solely to flowering, I will now use as the vegetative growth cabinet and also for flowering when the time comes, as I have lights of many spectrums for it. Without a doubt, the change to the new tent has been noticeable in the two plants that currently occupy it; to light it, I've rescued some good lights that I had lying around: LIGHTING SETUP: On the canopy, a Quantum Full Spectrum panel (100w) with high-brightness LEDs (450nm, 2700k, 5000k, 660nm, IR 730nm), accompanied by a 50w COB LED of 2800k with a 90° lens and a 13w UVA-B bulb. I've tied the second stem, intending to twist it around the main stem; now it's more exposed to light and I hope it evolves, as for now it looks stunted. This week the plant has consumed 1634 ml of irrigation water, 24% less than the previous week, and it confirms the downward trend that started two weeks ago... it's got me worried. Progress in the growth of the buds is moving forward, the leaf mass is static, I've done a little defoliation of leaves showing signs of exhaustion, and I've also detected the beginning of calcium and potassium deficiencies in some, along with nitrogen, so yesterday I did a deep watering with just water and a bit of molasses to help dissolve a possible excess of organic matter accumulated from previous waterings, which might be blocking the absorption of some nutrients; I will continue with these waterings until it shows signs of recovery. 🤞🏻 This plant is waiting for a free spot in my high-performance cabinet; I hope it will be there in 4 days, but I'm sure I'll move it tonight to see if the change reactivates its metabolism. deFharo Welcome fellow growers, seven weeks into flowering and the last two have been plagued by nutrient lockout, which has shown on the leaves of the two main branches, leaf burn and clear signs of Manganese deficiency. Water consumption has been declining for the past two weeks, and once again, my lack of reflexes has prevented me from starting to address the problem sooner. I knew this strain, with such a name as Psychopathic, was going to give me trouble!! 🙄 Well, it's time for the strong!! ✊🤜 WEEKLY ACTIVITY 💀 Day 84. I move the plant to my main tent where I have a magnificent MH TS1000 as the canopy light, supported by other lights that provide light spectra closer to red (2700k, 660nm, 2000k, 3000k, IR 730nm which I turn on for 15 minutes every hour.) Days 85, 86, 87, 88, 89. The plant is not reacting to the last watering with mountain water and molasses, it continues to lose completely yellow leaves from the lower part of the plant. In the last two days, spots have reappeared on the larger leaves at the top of the two main branches, now also curling at the tips... very ugly!! Day 90. I go to the grow ready to try to solve the nutrient lockout. 1st. I prepare a mix with mountain water and Ormus that provides calcium and magnesium and helps with nutrient assimilation, I correct the pH with white vinegar. pH: 7.0, EC: 0.55. 1000ml. Quick watering with this mix until I achieve a good runoff level, I collect 500ml with an EC: 3.1 and pH: 7.05. deFharo Welcome fellow growers, ninth week of flowering and fifteenth week of life for this sativa-dominant strain, and psycho-metabolic issues! 😁 A week with no news, the plant isn't progressing or regressing, although all signs of deficiency/excess have disappeared. I trust in the leaf mass it has maintained, although I'm not very happy with the formation and structure of the flowers, too much intermingled leaf for my taste, and a lack of fattening. Water consumption has drastically dropped again, this week it consumed 1567ml, 35% less than the previous week. The last nutrient watering didn't sit well with it 😤 I've only done one watering this week with mountain water and molasses, I'm going to continue with this type of watering for a few more days until the plant recovers the lost activity, but the low water consumption spaces the waterings 4-5 days apart and this is a drawback in my view, as over the days and with the humidity, the oxygen in the substrate is lost and this is a serious problem. deFharo Welcome fellow growers, the tenth week of flowering for this psychopathic strain with sativa dominance has been completed. The grow remains stable, no leaf loss, and no signs of problems. Water consumption for irrigation has increased this week, 2105ml, 34% more than the previous week. So far, the buds are fluffy, with medium density, typical of sativa plants. WEEKLY ACTIVITY 👨‍🌾💦🌾🤸‍♀️ - Day 106. I continue with light watering for this plant, due to the issues it had with nutrient assimilation, this time a mix with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA Basic) at 2%, molasses, and Ormus at 1%. PH: 6.40, EC: 0.75. 1000ml. I add dry matter to the mulch, to compensate for the disappearance, due to humification, of the previous mulch. - Day 109. I prepare a watering mix to strengthen the grow, with my 3 algae Biol (Vitamins, minerals...) with Efficient Microorganisms -EM- (MMA, BAL) at 2%, molasses, and Ormus (Ca, Mg...+PH) at 0.5%. deFharo Welcome to another week of life, the eleventh of flowering! This week the plant has shown a bit of swelling in the buds, and water consumption remains moderate. This week I did the first nutrient watering for flowering, after four weeks of treating the crop with gentle and invigorating waterings to get the plant out of the major blockage it suffered. So far, the crop is doing well, losing very few leaves, and white pistils have started to appear on the floral buds, which are also becoming denser and the aromas have intensified!! Yesterday I added 7g of a mix of solid elements to the substrate, this mix consists of organic elements and other minerals. Nothing more for now... Last week it seemed like the plant was ready for harvest, but the appearance of the buds, which are still fattening up and gaining density, has made me delay the cut for another week. deFharo The cultivation lasted for 19 weeks, of which 13 were in flowering, with moderate production, but considering the 7L pot size and a serious nutrient lockout issue that occurred halfway through flowering, and which I still don't know what caused, and from which it never fully recovered. I cultivated the plant only with apical cutting; probably if I repeat this strain, I will apply some LST to control the height and achieve more production.
