Week 6 (Day 42) - This week was a lot more manageable with temps as it has cooled off. I also was able to pick up a portable AC unit that has dehumidifier built in. I Macgyver’d a bunch of ductwork so I can run a hose to my tent, Amazing 🤩. I have been able to run consistent at 74 degrees with lights on, and 68-69 degrees with lights off, and humidity between 43-50 % Lots of new growth this week at the bottom canopy, both bud and leaf. Kinda gives me a better idea of timeline with this strain, I think it’s going to go 10-11 weeks from what I see online. Trichomes are still clear, but the hairs are turning nice colours, and I think I se me a touch of pink starting…👀 Buds continued to thicken, again, not huge by any means, but the ones that were small are fattening up, and there are so many of them 🤗 I think I’m going to feed nutrients this week, Monday is the start of week 7, and assess the situation then to determine when to start straight water feeds to begin the flush…

Ahora mismo el olor de la pc ha pasado a fruta madura tipo papaya y mango, mientras que la cheese tiene un fuerte olor a skunk apestosa. El aspecto de los cogollos es ya completamente formados y la gran mayoría de hojas se han secado, he revisado los tricomas y la pc empieza a tener algunos ámbar mientras que la cheese presenta mayormente lechosos. Les dejaré una semanita más y en función de cómo las vea cosechare las dos a la vez para pasar al secado.

July 31: defoliated lower fan leaves and small bud sites that won’t mature in time. Directs the plant’s energy to the bigger buds up top. Aug 1: Added another top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom as the plants seem to be a bit P deficient. There is a blue-ish tint to the leaves and another plant is showing reddish petioles (leaf stems) both of which are signs of P deficiency. More 50:50 barley and Power Bloom should work. Otherwise she looks great.

Was another good week this week. Seem to have figured out the brown spotting, started adding sensi-calmag to the mix and the spotting has stopped and leaf color is darkening back up. Not sure if was from calmag deficiency or low nitrogen, but either way they look better so it seems like it was the right call. Did a light defoliation early in the week, maybe a dozen leaves per plant. Just the usual stuff under canopy or bunching too much. Has been much easier to keep humidity down since the heavy defoliation a week ago. Buds are really starting to look good on three of the four plants with the front left being furthest along. She is starting to pack frost already! Back left still looks a week behind, but coming in strong. Could this be a come from behind winner? Last day of the week took apart the Autopot system for a good clean. Clean the res, flush the lines with line cleaner, pull and clean the valves with dish soap, cleaned out the trays, wipe down the underside of the pots and back together it all goes. Been running for 40 days and this is the first clean, should be the only one as there's only maybe 40 days left. I find the B52 builds up a bit of sludge after a month or so, but worth using have seen noticable better grows since adding it to the feedings. Either way, an hour of work once a grow is nothing to complain about VS all the time out in hand watering. Also a big improvement on the newer 5.0 valves vs the previous generation. They are about double the diameter, so they gunk up MUCH less and fill a lot faster. Using the old valves I was cleaning every 1-2 weeks depending on feeding frequency. In fact, now that I think about it, I didn't test it when I purchased it so it may have been off slightly the entire time 😱 Was off by +0.7% Also may have thrips, but I don't see any. Perhaps the white spots on the leaves are ph related? Funny story though, within 10 minutes of having had the white spots pointed out to me, a ladybug flew into the lung room. Caught it and released it into the tent 😈 If I find her corpse within a few days, we'll know there are no thrips! Removed the two affected leaves anyway. ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------- Aug 10 Ordered nematodes and 30 ladybug larvae, just to be safe. Day 92 from seed the plant has responded very well to lifting her up to have more exposure to the light the buds start to fatten them right away unfortunately it's too late to get huge buds as I was hoping in the beginning but nevertheless for sure it will give me a very good quality flower despise the lack of light in the most important weeks for Bud development and unfortunately that time cannot be claimed back despise that she looks beautiful and I'm sure she will be delightful to smoke .
