Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. But they are getting into late flower. Orange sherbet isnt great right now. No real smell and not looking great. Not sure but prolly too small of a pot. They exploded in the 10 days I was gone! Bulk phase in full progress, they're blowing up every day now. Will need to do sth about the humidity at night, getting 80% spikes just before lights on. I will try to have a fully automated system next round with biotabs and blumats and see how far I can take a fully hands off approach here.

Everything going great! Gorilla skittlez is the second plant and the buds are huge! the weddinc cake and the blue cheese are also nice and dense and the rest of sea off green small plants looking good too. going to start flushing some of the smaller plants soon as some of the indica strains are getting ready for a good harvesting!

Day 28/06/2024 I chopped the first one, day 08/07/2024 I chopped the second one and today day 09/07/2024 I'm going to chop the other two (bigger ones) Very satisfied with all this, just the beginning and you will also see more diaries around here! This week i will flush the plants, meaning i will only give them tapwater with the right ph and with around 450-500ppm. I have overwatered some of the plants under the LED so i will let them dry almost out before giving them water next time.. I have made alot of mistakes i think in this grow but they seem to be doing okay, i have a goal of atleast 50g from each plant, so we will see if thats realistic. They are getting fatter each day, as you can probably notice one of them is showing real signs of stress with brown spots and dead yellow leafs. I am adding Calmag this week and making sure Ph is set, will most likely only water them and add calmag. I think next week will be the flush and then harvest. Still trying to battle humidity, hopefully I get a dehumidifier this weekend and manage to reduce it a bit. Hopefully no mold -_-

4 September 2022 Flowering: 42 days - 6 weeks Tip of foliage showing sign of maybe pH imbalance or too much fertilizer? Did a small water flush. The run off water was very acidic, added water until run off was 6 pH Maybe time for water only now 10-15 more days till harvest??

Moving right along, each girl is on her own pace. Tent was so crowded I had to remove the heater therefore I bought a bigger tent and will use use this one for drying. Thanks for looking..

Harvest time has come. It is difficult to kill a plant I have been raising so lovingly and with a lot of care as a wonderful living being that she is (and we all are as One). I even stayed up all night once to do a slow full 3x flush of the soil with emergency pH correction and buffering when I finally received the meters and looked at runoff values. It was almost like manually pumping a blood transfusion for a patient overnight. The idea to grow indoors came as a lightning and almost by a random chance. It was, of course, a synchronicity of a high order, because that flash coincided precisely with a rare moment where I had a small window of time to collect seeds of my choice in person and transport them safely and very quickly. And get extremely helpful advice from a moderately experienced grower, who helped me avoid self-taught rookie mistakes and pick an almost perfect setup for my purposes. Many steps I have learned only when it was time to take them, and since there's only so much I can do in a day, I got to some procedures like instrumentally checking salt buildup and substrate pH pretty late. I did monitor her leaves from the get-go, so leaving aside a light nute / photon burn of the tips, I think it went pretty well. Definitely better than I would have imagined! I wanted to do a small sitting meditation beside the plant before cutting her to dry. Wanted to thank the plant for this majestic experience and the healing power of gardening and caring for a plant on top of the medicinal values of cured buds and edibles we made along the way from trimmed fans. Those were unexpectedly strong and pleasantly smoooth. Wanted to tell her that I will miss her and remember her fondly, especially since she is my first full successful grow. The first time is always an unforgettable experience. Wanted to tell her that I do not want to kill her, and it was painful for me to FIM and shape her. A sitting meditation turned into a dynamic meditation when I started removing light gear and feeding system and cleaning the grow space in preparation for drying. Pretty quickly I noticed that I have a very real feeling of experiencing light- to medium-dose mushroom trip. I had vaped some 50/50 hybrid street bud half an hour earlier, but it was a very modest dose — shout out to TinyMight, you guys are amazing! — but no psychedelics. At that moment I felt that I don't need to say anything to the plant, because we are one and she had known my every feeling and intention from the start. And then I realized that what I had considered to be a sombre event, is just a transformation for the plant, it's next manifestation. Having lived as a plant, she will now transform into happy and healing experiences of those who will enjoy her flowers. This plant has supported me and helped me heal deep trauma and depression at least twice in my life over a period of a few months on each occasion. In between those healing periods it was just a get high and enjoy shit because why not kind of thing, and it didn't have any long lasting psychological effect at all, in stark contrast to classical psychedelics (LSD, shrooms, DMT etc). During those non-healing periods I didn't even have an urge to smoke all that often. I could easily not touch the stuff for a couple of months straight. My yearly consumption was in low single digit grams. Sometimes I felt that I did not enjoy the effect at all, it was slightly unpleasant even. Why would I want to blur my crisp perception to a gooey marshmallow state of cannabinoid high and scattered attention? But when it is time to do some inner work — and you cannot miss this feeling if you strive to tune into your inner state — god, is it a POWERFUL plant! I am very happy and humbled to be a conduit for this energy by caring for the plants and raising them. I respect this plant very deeply. --- Split her into thee parts by leaving only a few nodes creating the outer layer of colas on each level and effectively "topping" her a couple of levels above (or below, technically, now that she's upside down) and this creating a new drying layer/level. Tried wet trimming and I think I liked it. Will try to complete it in the next 1-2 days if I decide to go ahead with the idea. --- After drying for 7 days, I stabilized humidity at 60-62% for 4 hours and then chopped off buds (trimmed in batches during the first 3 days of drying), weighed and packed into glass jars for curing. Literally packed, because she yielded over 4 litres of dried trimmed bud (I think it was 4.5l) weighing 267g. WOW. I did not expect that on my first run I will be able to grow so much potent medicine. A lot of it is fluffy, but can be easily pressed denser, if storage or appearance are a concern. In fact, I had to press the buds slightly to make it all fit in two 2-litre jars. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way and thank you for your warm wishes! This week we encountered some problems and we lost a couple of days of growth. It was smooth sailing up to here and maybe a little too smooth. I saw that the buds didn't develop right after the previous post last week. After dropping a question and establishing possible reasons I did some interventions to let the plants recover. I raised the light which was real close and temps were too high. Next to that I watered with just some normal tapwater as I suspected some too low PH. I started ventilating more to disperse the heat a little. These actions seemed to have helped as last couple of days I see some real fattening of the buds. This SP-3000 is real powerful and cant be as close as my previous leds. Again props to Mars Hydro and a big thank you to @MarsHydroLED!! Let's hope we do the last couple of weeks with less stress for all of us! Sorry for not posting any Sunshine posts, I have a Christmas surprise in store for those enjoying the mixed reality shots. LA is doing lovely, she's was originally the tallest but after folding her like a lawn chair after a big day on the beers her upward growth has slowed right down and she's starting to push outwards like I was anticipating. LA punch is an unreleased genetic from Cali connection. I suggest if you top her to top her once. Relax on the defoilation and let her grow out. She is quiet compact and wants to stay together so you need to try and be forceful to get your way but do be careful. Doesn't like stress in the sense of defoilation and topping early on but handles high PH, high EC and high temperatures so far but obviously not for long otherwise you can seriously stunt your ladies. Light went from 60% to 90% over Week 5 to Week 6, next 2 days she'll be at 100% ready for flowering. 2 set AC infinity bar lights will go in over this week as well as my scrogg net. Day 28-35 (May 28th - June 4th) (Day 29) My rooted blackberry #3 clone looks like it’s finally starting to reveg. It’s starting to stretch it’s internodes but no new growth yet. Nearly all 9 are pushing roots now. What a waste of time taking clones in flower! Won’t ever do that again. Grapefruit #1 has a twin! I thought it was just an odd formation on the taproot but two seedlings are pushing out. I wonder if it will be genetically identical. It’s definitely slower growing than the other one so who knows. I will try to train them apart when the time comes. (Day 30) I think the EC/PPMs are too high on nearly every plant including my veggies. The promix is actually really hot for a “blank” medium coming in at 1800. Adding compost and amendments to that is probably raising it to 2500+ at least. It should self balance the more I water it but I know for a fact I can get better growth by leaching the soil around each plant. Next time I use promix for anything, I’m going to prewash it like coco coir and add a dash of oyster shell flour for pH and calcium. (Day 32) Purple tuna is now big enough to start lst on now. I’m going to wait a little while for the slurricanes. (Day 33) One of the grapefruits has a twin that actually popped... I’m going to leave it and see how she turns out (Day 35) I’m going to prune off the lower leaves on each plant. I was going to lst Purple tuna but it’s so vigorous I may as well just top/mainline it. Autoflowers are looking established and should be taking off this week. I wonder if this will give them enough time to veg into decent sized plants before they flower. I won’t be topping or even doing lst. My goal is 22 big spear colas from each plant. I’m going to get all my rooted clones into 1.7 gallon pots over the next week or so.

So this was my first grow, way back in 2013. Literally a seed I placed in the ground, hidden behind my water tank and the fucker went out of control. Not too sure if it was taken at 24 weeks, all I know is this plant lived a full life. I had to tie her down about half way into the grow as she was just getting too damn big. Fertiliser? Well nothing but seasol and power feed was used. Virtually no love at all was given to this plant, everything was kept simple. More smoke than I could handle from this crop anyhow, so many ounce bags of weed were given away to many happy mates. Still took a couple of years to vape my way through what I kept. I vacuumed sealed and place in my dedicated dope fridge to ensure longevity. Seriously a top notch smoke, the taste was amazing, the stoned even better. I can only dream that my current outdoor grow will get to this size, but being in a pot it will be restricted for sure but still bountiful. How bountiful is yet to be seen. Check it out if u have the time. Seeing the size of this and my current plant, has made me decide that I will no longer bother with autoseeds. The reward just isn't there I will post harvest videos as well...marijuana porn is what I like to call them 🤣

Really really cant complain with this one. Shes beautiful to look at to smell and to taste and amazing effects she gives off... You will be the envy of all your friends but the great thing is that you get to share! Sublime in all areas and one that I hope never disappears from production!
