During the middle of this week I decided to stop the outward training of the branches & the allow vertical growth for beginning bud site formation . I don’t want to miss the beginning flower stretch kinda need it 😂. Decided to break the apical dominance of the main stem by LST’ing down . I noticed it was leagues ahead of the rest of the plant because it hung over the side of the pot so since I need to start slowing it’s vertical growth I figure now Is also time to get the rest of the canopy to catch up leaving me to space things accordingly later when/if necessary . Also decided to go ahead and do my 1st & last additional feeding since these girls where planted all I’ve had to do this grow was water when dry & train her to the best of my abilities. Spent the past week transitioning to flower light cycle. Daphni is continuing to fill out and have some good growth around the nodes in the middle of the stalk. The humidity lingers @ 55% which is fine. I'm wondering at what week near the end should I turn the dehumidifier on. The radio is still on 95.7 (Classic and Heavy Metal Rock). Daphni's color has remained good this week and she had no major or minor leaf problems so hopefully that will stay the same. I started my Final Bloom Solution today when I changed out the reservoir. I added KoolBloom and some Cal-mag to the solution and my PPM went way up so I hope Daphni takes to it well. The ABLE Grow Chamber is still performing well but I have noticed some green growth along the grooves of the RainForest 66 reservoir. Will clean it with a tooth brush and towel.

Without really knowing i think its starting to look pretty good, few mistakes with the way the stem is bent.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly

Day 82: Starting CBD on just water, going to start harvesting her top buds shortly. Mexican's large leaves are starting to get yellow so I've cut them off, she's starting to smell fruity. Green is still growing. Just adding the contest video entry. CBD is looking plump, her top tier trichs are looking cloudy. Evening: Put CBD underneath some intense lighting and cut off her top bud, 4g wet, did a quick trim and hung her. I'll let the rest go until the weekend. Sometimes I can't wait and need to cut. Each cut of a large fan leaf, or the stem you get a very fruity & bubblegum scent.

Accidentally ripped off a branch during some stress training, totally my fault completely could have been avoided. Other than that she seems healthy what do you guys think? I have had a few gnats flying around it though and dried the soil out as much as I could before giving it another water. A lot more white hair progression this week.

Not going to say I expected more as I did but I can also say wow they’re doing amazing and forming big ole buds! And the aromas are crazy coming from all of them! And I have NEWSSSSSS… so mystery revealed! On 2 big ones solo still forming! But bottom left is FASTBUDS purple punch and top left is FASTBUDS forbidden runtz and I’m so glad of it as I wanted them to be the fastbuds to get another finish or a better one on these and it seems I may not with the forbidden runtz but I will with the purple punch! My next run I will hold back as best as I can to do nothing but open them up and not defoliate or trim one set and visa versa on the others back to back to see the difference alongside each other! Be great too as I have more fastbuds to run and new Zamnesia to do on this so will be equal in timing! Plus I get to do some solos so will be a great grow!

Final weeks the temperature dropped under 17celcius when lights were off.

Harvest Time! Meine absolute Lieblingszeit beim Growen! Nachdem die Lady ca. 1 Woche ohne Wasser war, wurde sie unten am Stamm abgeschnitten. Daraufhin hab ich mir erst mal die Pflanze angeschaut, ob sich irgendwo Schimmel gebildet hat. Gott sei Dank blieb sie davon befreit. Die Pflanze an sich wog etwa 320 g. Die kleineren Triebe wurden abgeschnitten, und die Buds daraufhin nass getrimmt. Die Blüten weisen einen Mix von Grau/Lila/Grün auf. Sehr schönes Erscheinungsbild! Die Buds bringen (inkl. Stängel) etwa 192 g auf die Waage. Der nasse Trim etwa 45 g (Tara von etwa 5g wurde hier abgezogen). Bin natürlich gespannt wie viel trocken auf die Waage kommt und vor allem wie sie am Ende schmeckt :D Die nächsten Wochen kommt dann ein smoke Review inkl. Trockengewicht! Nous voilà déjà au 26e jour, et mes plantes semblent vraiment bien s'en sortir. J'ai expérimenté un LST un peu audacieux, juste pour voir. Je n'ai pas effectué de defoliation Je suis passé à de l'engrais en mode pré-floraison jusqu'à arrêt de l'étirement auquel cas je passerai en l'engraissement en floraison pure. À présent, je vais les laisser tranquilles et croiser les doigts pour que la préfloraison au 19e jour ne soit pas suivie de petits ennuis avec des plants de petites tailles 🙏🤞 🌱

I thought, i posted last week, but it seems like I did not click the save button, but luckily I did not delete last week’s images and videos, so I posted them and with the latest images and videos. I am honoured to be growing this strain, because my first attempt was gorilla glue but I lost it when I moved back to jozi from Limpopo… but here I am getting another stab at it, though it’s not GG#4, strains that contain the gorilla gene seem to be high THC strain, I am expecting couch potatoe high.

The girls are really starting to take off now. They are growing on average 1-2 inches a day. we should start to see clear preflower this week.

So i hatvested them on day 80, they got 24h of light before harvest. I removed all fan leafes with no to verry little trichomes visible. Both plants are now drying by ca. 21°C and 57% humidity. This time i will dry them with lights on to be more efficient with my growing cycles. ( i think they will get at least 2-4 days darkness before the new seedlings move in the box )

Took more of a crockpot approach with these girls. Maintaining a clean room afforded me the ability to just have to water/feed. I did no trimming, only put a couple 4’ stakes with some soft wire in each pot to keep each plant in its own bubble. It did have its hiccups. Using a mechanical timer was one. The power went out for a couple hours. It was fun moving them around to fit my short ass in there with a step stool 😂. The grow went well. I pushed them hard initially, then backed off and coasted to the end. The buds are frosty, swole, and shtinky! The bokashi/ffj does it. Ill follow up after dry and cure. Thanks for scopin my grow!

18.1 | F9 Plants are looking more and more green and all nice. Still some thrips in the canopy sadly but those predator mite satchels also doing work, I can see plenty of predator mites too. Plants have stretched a little bit over these couple days between the update, bending some growth under the trellises every two days. Might remove a leaf here and there but nothing major at this point. 19.1 | F10 I raised the led wattage from 240w to 280w. Also lifted up my corner fan, it started to shade the corner plant. I took a video of my nuisance - thrips and also video of the good guys, check it out! 21.1 | F12 Scrog is filled, like really filled. Doing first big defoliation on Friday!

Just got the new 8x4 setup and got some new seeds in from Seedsman so let’s see how this run goes! 5x5 is week 2 of flower going strong!

Plan to use both as mother plants for next grow. April 3rd Captains log...tired of Covid 19! :) Watered plants from top for last time on phlizon side...turned on second reservoir. The leaves are droopy cause i went on holiday and my drip system didn't work for 10 days, but they are STRONG, they will come back easily. Great flower stretch and awesome structure.
