🌱 GrowDiaries Log – Day 9 FERMAKOR BASE SYSTEM – KOH VERSION ⚓ (Batch #1) Good morning growmies ☀️ One week in, the bucket looks nothing like scraps anymore. Breakdown has been quick and thorough — almost everything is liquid now, with just a few stubborn bits hanging on. Observations (Day 9): Foam: barely any, just a thin layer here and there — never really foamed big. Smell: nastier than Day 2, ammonia/chemical with a faint earthy undertone. Texture: 95% liquid, only tiny clumps left dissolving slowly. Color: darker and more uniform, looking like a concentrated base already. ⚠️ Safety note: Still caustic, still burns instantly — full gear needed for handling. 🌱 Reflection: Honestly impressive how fast KOH stripped everything down. No real foaming storm, just a steady chew through biomass until it turned into this dark liquid. I’ll give it another 3–4 days and see if those last solids are gone completely before calling this first batch finished.

Day 94 - 13/07/2023 Start of 8th Week of Flower and FLUSH Day 95 - Buds are starting to have that final golden color, harvest really is arriving. I could harvest now but i want to flush this plant properly. Today it started to rain and buds are all wet. When it stops raining i´ll check the plant and shake it to remove water. The plant love it but humidity is really high here and mold can forms even when it´s not raining. I´ll check trichomes when possible aswell. Day 96 - Today rained in the morning, but after midday sun started to shine. Had some minor mold problems which i removed immediately, but nothing really to worry , this strain is tough aswell. I checked trichomes, i already have some amber but i think i saw some clear ones here and there. My instinct is telling me to harvest now, but my experience wants to flush this plant properly. I think i should have started to flush earlier, but i did not regret as i want to try out and let a plant really mature. After all im am not that experienced. Day 97 - Today the pot was already kind of dry so i watered her to help the flushing process and i think this will be the last watering. Day 99 - Here i just think i took some really cool pictures, for me at least! 😄 I´ll let the soil dry well so i can harvest with less humidity possible

Plants are getting too big for enough light coverage, so had to buy a second grow light. As noted before, the plant was getting out of hand and growing at many different heights making it difficult to set the optimum light distance. So, I went a little crazy and did some serious pruning (yes, during flowing, I know). Also trimmed off a number of fan leaves that were either beginning to yellow or were otherwise blocking valuable light from the many of the smaller buds. Fortunately my plants are very resilient and are finally at mostly equal heights now. Hindsight 20/20: I now have a better idea of how to route my plants using the ScrOG method. I found a well written blog that answered all the questions I had that other article didn't. Bottom line: Instead of allowing the main branches to grow through the netting and re-route the offshoots, I've found it's better to keep the main branches under the netting and allow the off-shoots to grow through instead. Think of it as the plant growing sideways.

Low nutes schedule, watering each 2 days, 35ºC today..... alternating water with top candy and nutes. Broke my PH meter :(

This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

Nothing much to report. She’s settled in and working on full flower. Cleaned a couple low hanging leaves, no more snipping past week 3. Up to every other day watering, roughly a liter. She’s been a breeze so far. Till next week.

🌿 Woche 5 🌱 Wachstum & Training 🌱 Das Training läuft fantastisch – ein täglicher, stetiger Prozess. 😬✂️ Beide Damen sehen rundum gesund aus, mit kräftig grünen Blättern. 💪🍀 Sogar ein halb abgebrochener Trieb hat sich richtig gut erholt. 👌🌱 Man merkt inzwischen, dass eine der Damen dominanter ist. 👑🔥 Der mittlere Bereich ist hart umkämpft – vielleicht doch ein Ticken zu eng für zwei Pflanzen. 🤼‍♀️😨🌱 Ich habe daher ordentlich entlaubt und ein paar kleinere Triebe entfernt. ✂️🍃🗑️ Langsam füllt sich der gesamte Raum mit einem gleichmäßigen Blätterdach. 🌳💚 Der Stretch hat begonnen – und alle Triebe haben richtig Bock, steil zu gehen! 🚀🌿🎯 💧 Living Soil – Only Water 💧🌍 Wie man sieht: Kein einziger Trieb oder ein Blatt mit Mängeln. ✅🌱👌 Die Vegetationsphase lief absolut problemlos – ganz ohne Temperatur- oder Luftfeuchtigkeitsunterstützung. 🌡️💨❌ Nur mit einer Mischung aus destilliertem Wasser und Leitungswasser. 💧🚰 🔄 Drehbarer Topf 🎥 Ich bin nach wie vor ein großer Fan dieser Lösung! 😄👍 Nicht nur entstehen witzige kleine Videos, sondern es hilft enorm beim Training. 📸✂️ Ich achte beim Formen stets darauf, die Drehfunktion nicht einzuschränken – klappt bisher richtig gut. 🔄✔️ 💡 Licht & Schatten 🔆🌘 Im Laufe der Woche habe ich das Licht auf bis zu 400 PPF hochgedreht. 💡📈 So streben die Triebe weiter aktiv nach Licht – bekommen aber auch nicht zu wenig. 🌞🌱➡️💥 💧 Blumat & Gießen 💧🚿 🕒 Alle paar Tage bei 110 mbar 🚿 Jeweils 2 l Wasser 💦 ☀️ Wetter 🌡️🔥 Die Temperaturen waren (und sind) brutal: 26°–33 °C. ☀️ Scheint aber bisher alles gut zu verkraften. 😌🌿💪 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱🎵💚✨

We’ve officially entered week 7 with our FBA 2504 from 42Fast Buds, and the transformation is impressive—our girl is now in full bloom! After a smooth and steady vegetative phase, the flowering stage is progressing beautifully. The decision to experiment with a 12/12 light cycle for this autoflowering strain has proven to be an interesting choice, and so far, the results are encouraging. The plant stands tall and strong in its 10-liter pot, with a well-structured shape thanks to early LST. The climate remains stable with daytime temperatures reaching up to 30°C and an average range of 27–28°C. Humidity levels are consistently between 60% and 65%, which has supported healthy growth throughout the cycle. We continue to feed her with Xpert Nutrients, and the impact is clearly visible—dense flowering sites, vibrant foliage, and a healthy overall appearance. The aroma is starting to build, and the buds are forming with great structure and frost. So far, this grow has been a pleasure, and week 7 marks a crucial point where everything starts coming together. We’re excited to see what the final weeks will bring!

Good morning, everyone! Today, I bring mixed news from our garden. Unfortunately, the news is not the best for our beloved feminized plant. As we can see in the picture, the stem is quite thin and fragile, which compromises the healthy growth of the plant. As we know, the stem plays a fundamental role in the structure and development of the plant. It provides support for the branches and leaves, allowing them to carry out photosynthesis. Additionally, it is through the stem that water is transported from the roots to all parts of the plant. Despite having placed a support that has helped a little, only the next few weeks will tell how her development will be. I am sharing my experience with plant growth, and you are invited to follow this mystery with me. Will she reach flowering? What will be the maximum height she will reach? I will document each stage, and together we will discover the outcome of this story. On the other hand, the news is promising for our automatic plant! Since the last update, it has grown another 4 cm. The temperature this week has been quite favorable, with plenty of sun and little wind. By watering it with pH 6.5 - 7 water and using quality soil, I am confident that it will continue to thrive and reach the 5th week of vegetation in great condition. Shes big now and flowers everywhere, i fed her a bit too soft but now shes getting a good 800ppm. I think she will finish in 3-4 weeks from here, the stems got a citrus smell

Both phenos (PM#1 and PM#2) are very close in appearance, but Pheno #1 is leading slightly in height (about 5 cm taller), while PM#2 is equally vigorous and balanced. This uniformity is exciting, strong genetics with consistency across the phenos. The kind of stability you want in a Cup. ⸻ 📸 Studio Session Took them out for a proper photo shoot with the Sony 📷. Leaves shining, structure elegant, early flower sites beginning to peek through. Even filmed a few videos to capture this milestone. They’re looking like queens, and it’s a joy to document every step. ⸻ 💧 Feeding – Adjustments for Flower We’ve officially adjusted the recipe to start the flowering journey: • ❌ Start Booster – removed • ✅ Top Booster – added at 0.25 ml/L • ❌ All-in-One Liquid – paused (the All-in-One Pellets + pre-mixed recipe in the soil are now fully active and doing the job beautifully) • ✅ CalMag Boost – continued • ✅ Regulator – continued • pH: ~6.1 • Feed EC: ~0.6 This gentle transition sets the base for flower, without overwhelming them. ⸻ 🍃 Notes & Observations Some leaf burn spots appeared this week, nothing major. Likely from wind stress with the fan blowing directly on them. Honest note: it’s part of the process, and we show the good and the less-than-perfect. Thank you to RQS for creating and sending me this girl. She's fat, full of flavour and a pleasure to grow! Highly recommended even for a beginner. Thanks to all that follow, like and comment. Without you guys it'd be pretty boring so I appreciate all of your input! She was harvested on Day 58 and left to dry for at least a week. I then gave her a dry trim and thrown the buds in a jar for curing. I put a couple of boveda 62% humidity packs in there too, to keep the moisture level correct. I'll soon be switching to Integra boost packs as they seem to get a better review and are purposely made for cannabis. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. Happy growing! 🐺
