Veg day 36.- Happy girls seeing the sun for the first time. Additional soil mix is same as before. BX promix and perlite 2:1. Additional volcanic ash and worm castings. First watering was generic AB 1/4 strength, Rhizotomic and Mammoth P microbes. PH adjusted to 6.3 300ppm. Veg day 42 - after a week of wind and weather for the first time both seem to be acclimatizing well enough. A squirrel seems to like digging. Any suggestions for critter deterent?

Second grow ever - Not seen much about Diablo xl but know it’s a cross between jack herer and big devil #2. Excited to see how this one goes. Wed 3rd March - Placed Diablo XL into ph balanced water and put in a warm dark place for 24 hours Thur 4th March - Seed has sunk after 24hours have made my own propagation kit which I will place in a blacked out tub for the next 3 days. I will check up on it every day to see if soil is still damp. Fri 5th March - No sprout today if she doesn’t sprout by tomorrow night I will give some light to give her energy. Sat 6th March - Still no sign will put light on tonight. Happy growing. Sun 7th March - Wooo! She’s showing signs of sprouting can see she’s trying to get out her she’ll casing. Excited to see what I wake up to tomorrow!! 🍁

Took 2 clones from my sunset sherbet this week towards the end of the week. There continues to be explosive growth with this plant. I plan on switching to flower in a month or so and we will find out how she really performs.

The time has finally come 👍 You have been switched to 12/12 hrs and are ready to flower. Of course, cuttings were cut beforehand to keep the genetics. For 4 days now she has also been getting Fast Buds from GreenBuzzLiquids. They were also sprayed again with GBL Fast Plant spray. She is very healthy and I am excited to see how she gets going again in bloom :-). This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time (for nutrients, see nutrient table above). Then I filled canisters with fresh osmosis water for the next few weeks 👍. The tent was cleaned and every plant was checked for health. At the moment I am tinkering with the ventilation because there are currently 4 fans with 4 activated carbon filters running, which I want to make more efficient by putting a hose through 2 tents. Day 50 Flowering: Hi growmies. A great week again with these gems. They are all now in their final stage of flowering and I expect them to swell a little more and also to begin the ripening of the trichromes to all cloudy with a few amber ones. They are all doing really well and look to be fed as they need and also no signs of any deficiency. I do kot flush as I am in Living organic soil/coco and also do not use salt based nutes throughout the grow to need to wash from the medium. I also do not believe that flushing has any benefit besides error correction or to reset the medium again. With a slow dry , they use all the harsh chlorophyll that is mistaken for nutrient traces often in quicker drying methods. Herz Og by her standard growing cycle , should be finishing now but I think she can be easily pushed another week or so. Her smell is really sweet now up close with a nice tacky feel to her too. She isnt a big plant but is really well laid out for those pollen transporters to sand the wind to get through . Strawberry Colais am absolute trichrome monster. She is really packing the trichs onto her budstacks and sugar leaves tonwjere they don't look real close up. The camera focuses and tries again to refocus when I take pics of her .lol Certainly knew of the heaviest trichrome producers I have grown to date... I can see hownthe cola name is relevant too with how "fizzy" they appear . She smells candy sweet and very nice . Monster Mash looks alone and like the lanky girl at school who tries to look smaller. lol Her buds are fairly spaced out on the long stems and look more clumpy than joined up. I had to bend the main one over to allow the lights to be kept even for the other plants but she is getting more light to the lower portion now. Her buds are not very fat or chunky yet but i am hoping this week and the shogun Dragon force will help change that. Smell wise shebjas a fuel/sweet aroma to her which is familiar. lets see how she finishes now. So it seems that this last few weeks will sort the wheat from the chaff with a yield report soon. These strains have been very simple and easy to grow and manage with very little effort on my part. If your up for a grow with an auto , definitely consider these genetics from Exotic seeds , my experience so far has been all positive and their end results are top shelf buds and taste. the week has been smooth the leaves are fading / dying and i fed 1ml in a liter of water twice in the last 10 days but thinking about starting a flush now its been about 62 days and fastbuds site says 9 weeks. the hairs are mostly white still besides on a few buds its 25% and like 80% orange on 1 bud. trichomes are starting to look amber on sugar leaves about 10-15% amber trichs i need a better loupe to see close up tho. the buds just keep fattening up slowly but surely. im trying to be patient and let them get juicy even if its taking longer than the website advertised, (probably due to me dropping her in veg and overwatering in seedling stages) either way, super happy with the results so far and im thinking about getting another light. im going to try growing 2 plants under the 1 light until then but i think i could fit 3 or maybe 4 if i had a 2nd light. hopefully getting a 2nd tent soon too.

No.1: She went outside 1 week after #3 but is healthy and happy. No.3: loving life and twice the size of #1. Did some defoliation of 4 big fan leaves.

2nd week and I can tell one thing for sure. I'm really bad gardener 😬 Had to leave for 5 days and that was let's say suboptimal. Another proof that this strain is able to live with little to none attention. Changed the light hours to 20/4 to let them rest for at least a little time. Last big change was me finally finishing my controll system so even without me being present conditions were almost constant to preseted values (temp +/-0.2°C and humidity +/- 6%) Really happy with their grow so i hope it all be OK.

Apologies for the delayed update. The grow goes on.... I was planning on harvesting last week, but I decided to let her go a little bit longer because she is packing on some good weight and the trichomes are still milky with hardly any amber. I think I'm going to let it go one more week. The flush is starting to take effect now. The leaves are start to change colour.
