Hey everyone! So this week has been pretty good, no sort of issues really as I've decided to incorporate kelp meal into my next grow. With 4 weeks left of flowering, I feel this won't affect harvest too much considering my last group was showing cal/mag deficiencies before even going into flowering. Anywho, this bad boy is a monster and the buds are getting fat. I brushed up against some sticky leaves and all you can smell are literal blackberries with a skunky pungent smell to it. Exciting :) Buds are getting fat by the day, about toonie sized and getting some vertical growth to them..nice pine cones ;) Smell is incredible in the tent...sweet, skunky berries. Only 2x struggling.. Ill give them this week to recover-then ill be using that space for the new critical orange punch auto & 3 watermelon zkittlez auto barney's farm.. Anyways all buckets water was replace with fresh h2o & nutes before 9AM. Took off some branches & leaves.... D21 - Start of week three of veg for the second girl, while it is only the start of week two for the first girl as I had to replant her. I will probably do the first topping on the second girl this week but I'll see in a few days where she's at. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 5.9. A bit on the low side as I used too much pH down but it'll be fine for one watering. D24 - Yesterday I switched my light from the seedlings program to the veg program, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD across the canopy. On the high end for sure, so let's see how the girls handle it. However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the lights. #tinytentproblems I also added some support to #1 as she has a relatively thin stem but large leaves, so the oscillating fan keeps knocking her around. The second girl also initially had a slender stem, so I guess it is their genetics. (#1 is 12 cm tall and 15 cm wide, while #2 is 20 cm tall and 35 cm wide.) I will need to top the second girl this week as she grows a lot each day. I'm considering mainlining her but haven't made up my mind yet. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 6.5. D25 - A couple of days ago, switching the lights to the veg program made the cover crop explode and turn into a jungle. I decided to trim down the red clover to increase the airflow around the girls and reduce water use. I watered the girls only yesterday, but they were already thirsty again, so I think that the clover was drinking quite a bit as well. After cutting back the clover, I gave each girl around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.5. D27- Today was the last day in week three of veg for the second girl and the last day in week two for the first girl. I really should have topped the second girl already, so that will need to be done as soon as possible. She is 26 cm tall and 38 cm wide, while the first girl is 13 cm tall and 27 cm wide. Yesterday, I removed the support from the first girl as her stem had gotten more robust, so it was no longer necessary. Today, I started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to the girls tomorrow.

They are starting to grow fast and healthy . (Ayahuasca plants are showing good and healthy growth more than i expected. Wile the stardog ( the bigger ones are still suffering a little), just added 2 co2 bags just to try out how will it work , ex-el foilar spray aswell is working fine)

Week 3. This is where the fun begins. The smell is amazing. The stretch is crazy and the stems are stiff like bamboo. There's no loss in terps. They're actually getting a lot stronger!!

I think I'm off to a good start. This is the roughest part of a grow for me so far. One thing that I learned from my past killings was to not get obsessive and that's the approach. I've got a way better understanding of feeding now. I was confused about feeding charts, thinking that it was mix and feed. Even though I checked the PH and PPM (incorrectly a few times) I'd consistently fry my plants to near death, bring them back with plain, proper ph'd water and then re-fry the next feeding. It hadn't dawned on me that the nutrient mix while being in the optimal PH range, mixed in right order and correct measurements, my PPM/EC was way too high for the stage of the plant. Yikes, I was feeding a toddler 3 double Whoppers with extra everything. And XL fries. You burn and learn I guess. The little girl was starting to look hungry so I took a shot and fed light nutrients with some hydrogen peroxide (will update the chart soon getting sleepy). I also punched a lot more holes in the bottom of the solo cup. Few hours later her leaves perked up like she was giving me a high five. Leaves are looking good too with a PPM of about 211. It's going to be a warmer weekend so I figure I'll crack another seed and put my 5 gallon pot to use. Possibly a photoperiod?

Flipping next week... I feed every tuesday with some em1, lactic acid bacteria, fish shit, mammoth p, and knf inputs

This week I decided they deserved better. Added some red/blue LEDs that are low output, 12 on 12 off, 29.99 Chinese, designed for house plants. Even upgraded the pot to a 11 litre Grownest.

Nov 5th 3 plants doing exquisite, aphid population on those kept to a minimal and budwash will take care of the rest before drying. One girl, for whatever reason, was absolutely infested, so i carefully put a bag around it and threw it away... for the greater good. defol on all plants to get rid of dying leaves or leaves saturated with gangs of phids'.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. So this plant was a dream, stayed so lush and healthy throughout, grew tallish, strong really bobbly, swollen calyx structure to the buds, really sparkly with crystals, just lovely. Smell is fruity and pungent, impressive yield, just great.

In love with all of my 5 plants of black cherry punch but this one is one of the most beautiful ones, 100% purple flowers, very dense and awesome fruity sweet smell love it!
