First off I have to say that this is some extremely powerful flower. This mostly Indica cultivar's buds are covered in trichomes and definitely pack some gas! This lady was actually a cutting taken from a previous run. First dance with her, she didn't have the same environmental advantages she had this time around. We are pushing more light that is more evenly distributed, added a humidifier, and we're running cooler temps with a bigger AC unit. I don't know if it was these factors or some changes in the feeding schedule or some other factor, but her terps are off the hook this run. She has a very complex terpene profile with notes of some fruit, some gas, a little cream, and some of that distinctive skunky kush. She tastes very nice too. Not super sweet, but there's a sweetness to her and you definitely catch that gas. I just tested some and on the exhale, I get the aftertaste of PEZ candy, like after eating cherry, raspberry, strawberry, cherry, and grape flavors that end in a soft creamyness that reminds me of the "chalkiness" you get from eating PEZ. She seemed happy most of the way through and she rewarded us with some top quality medicine! I really wasn't that excited with her taste first run, but this time around I am pretty impressed with her overall. She still isn't the GDP I recall from back in the day, but very enjoyable nonetheless.

Makes for strong thick stems. I have only really been using up until week 1 of 12/12, but I think I will start using through week 3 in the future to see if it helps stems to better support bud weight.
Tried and true. I have high EC out of the tap. Until I get an RO system running, I am using about half feed schedule strength once per week.
I only use in the first 2-3 weeks of veg and sometimes after transplant if shock occurs.
Lights
No bad things to say about this light other than the 600w equivelance and the fact that it's a blurple, but it outlasted the more expensive TMLAPY light.
Tents
I've only ever used Vivosun tents. They serve their purpose well, but do have a few pinhole leaks along zippers and seams. I hang blackout curtains in front of the bloom tent and generally do not enter the room at all when lights are out.
10/18: Final Flush. Plain water pH to 6.3.
10/23: I harvested her on day 77 of 12/12. She really is easy to grow in terms of nutrients. Never had any issues with her there, but what makes her difficult is that her branches were falling all over the place in late flower with heavy bud weight. That is probably partially my fault in how I had trained her, but she was very difficult to keep standing tall in late flower. Buds were flopping everywhere, but those buds are beautiful colors of pink, purple, with some almost neon greens and yellows. She's a beautiful plant with a high resin production. Regardless of the fact she has a lower wet weight than the other 2 cultivars that were flowering with her and her floppy buds, I really do love this strain! She produced top shelf nugs that are a joy to smoke.

@amazongrow, She's still in veg, but she will still grow a lot before she goes into the flower room. I pack them in there pretty tight. I am no expert here, so idk what she will yield. Just being honest. Next run I want to try more of a SOG type grow in half of the tent. The other half I will continue the way I have been growin to see difference in yield. I am still finding my style
By bigger, do you mean taller or what? I thought I should keep my canopy from getting too deep to ensure light penetrates through the bottom. Any suggestions or feedback is always appreciated! Thanks for stopping by the garden!

@NatureBoyNeo, Yeah, this pheno (it's a cutting from a previous run) isn't anything worthy of the name Grandaddy Purple. Not fruity and not purple, but who knows... Maybe she will show some different traits under the quantum boards. Last run she was under an AGLEX 3000 w/cobs. All that being said, she IS super potent and still really enjoyable.
I'd like to get my hands on some of the GDP beans from Grand Daddy Purp. The original bred by Ken Estes. I used to get some black market GDP that is really just untouchable. Supposedly the producers lost the mom and I have never had anything of that calibre of bud since. It was dense with chunky nugs. It was super potent and incredibly frosty. And it was a beautiful color purple with a shiney white/silver frost and really no green to speak of... Just solid purple buds with bright contrasting orange hairs. It smelled and tasted like Fruity Pebbles cereal. Really just something special. I miss that stuff.

@MrJones, Yeah, my helper took a cutting from a plant in mid flower. She struggled a bit at first and then I put her through all kinds of hell. She has been through a lot and has come a long way. She was lanky last run, but hoping the new lighting might reduce some stretching in early flower.
