*If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. 31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water).

purple budz

Very slow growing this week (even thought it was a long one as I was counting days wrong) but i think its entered flowering. Its definitely stretched a whole lot. Side branching is pretty nice on both plants so hopefully it'll be a decent yield considering the pot size. Gonna stick with 10 litre pots now. Adding in more bloom nutes seems to have helped clear up the spots so i'm grateful for that. Gonna keep feed at this level until the biobizz runs out in a week or two. Heat is still an issue as you can see from the leaves taking on the classic taco shape. I still have a small 4 inch inline fan that im not using, would that be better for temps than passive intake? But still, good progress considering it's pushed 40c a couple of times.

Another new grow and like the OG kush, trying something new with this grow, by flipping to 12/12 for a week (without bloom nutrients). Also with this grow and the OG kush, I'm switching to the coco series nutes, as they have higher P & K values than the non-coco line up.

La semana va bien el último día detectó q varias plantas empiezan a amrillear, aplico 10l de canna flush a 4ml/l. Son las de la derecha en las parejas de macetas. Tengo q revisar q este nivelado.

OK guys I'm back after being away for 2 weeks. I've proceeded to a final transplantation into a 9L AirPot container, right before I left for vacations. I also added a canopy-ring in order to open up the plant and start some LST without adjusting strings everyday. A friend was in charge of the grow room while I was away, and she did a pretty good job. The AK420 is healthy, she is the smallest plant in the room but her shape and color are amazing. Short inter-nodes. She has 8 main summits and all her apexes are about the same height. She will remain under vegetative stage for 1~2 weeks before flipping into 12/12 light schedule. I can't wait to see her full of buds! Thanks for stopping by 👊

So I had to cut all leaves, and also some of the smaller leaves due to mold. It was only a little bit mold but I cut away every part that seemed to white for me in the end. It probably would habe worked out growing her 2-3 weeks longer but I decided to chop/save her.

Last week of flowering

Hola compañero y apasionado del cultivo 🤜🤛 Hemos tenido un tiempito de 12*12 dentro de nuestro tent casero, la luz nueva Nagasaki de BioLED Lighting ha demostrado ser eficiente y en unos exactos 7dias hemos visto los primeros signos de floración! Para ser exactos junto con la luna llena del 24 de abril el cambio se vió de manera instantánea! Por el día no había signos de sexo y a la noche ya estaban los primeros pistilos y sacos de polen en sus lugares (No sé si esto sea parte de el cambio o solo la cantidad exacta de horas en su periodo de floración) Al primer signo de floración ellas volvieron a la carpa madre con 19hs de iluminación bajo una TS 1000 . Ph: 6.1-6.5 EC: 900 100+/100- HR: 65% 5+/5-. C⁰: 19-28% La estructura se estiró muy bien y ellas toman una forma hermosa 💪🏽 Growwwwwwwww Saludos y paz para todos. 💐💚🤜🤛💚💐

Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10. I was able to flush 2ice last week and I hope to flush 2ice this last week. I noticed the pictures aren't quite as clear/light as last weeks. I turned down the lights to 70% last week and 60% this week. The buds are as big as I want them and the leaves were going yellow so I turned down the lights to relive some light and heat stress on the plants. With 1 week to go I think everything will be fine. The plant are doing great. Nice big buds, stock strong enough to hold them up. There is some color change on some leaves on plant #2 to purple and the buds have a purplish tinge to all the plants. The smell has calmed down some. Not quite the strong acidic fruity smell there was. Just a candy fruity smell now. So good to go for harvest in about 8 days. Good to go? Chuck.

Girls are stacking nicely ❤️ The one is a bit more finicky than the rest, she is showing signs of nutrient lockout/ ph , but should be easily corrected if I’ve diagnosed it properly. I ended up calibrating by ph pen and I was off by .15 on the scale, might not seem like a lot, but in flower it can be! Shouldn’t set us back too much 🇨🇦👊❤️

The girls started to pre-flower on the 6th of June. They all have a slight smell when you rub the leaves. Kosher cake, Strawberry banana and the Forbidden runtz have a sweet smell to them. The Forbidden runtz reminds me of the smell of skywalker OG which is totally LUSH..!! The blackberry has more of an deep earthy smell with a slight bit of fruitiness. Super excited for the next few weeks with these ladies. Happy toking my peeps 😁

A catastrophe happened, The 4 Eleven Roses died from what i expect, veing shadowed by the other bigger plants as i found the corpse of the plants very stretched, like they were searching light (i don't know how to mark this on this platform) . On the bright side there are 8 female examples, 4 g13 and 4 santa bilbo full of hell flowering. There is a bit of plague, but thats also a negligence i caused by reusing soil from the outdoors. Why i highlight this? because, as the plant are near mid flowering, the use of foliar sprays will not longer be a viable option and i must stick with the basics. Kind regards homies.!
