Most of this week I was away so the tent was on autopilot. When i got back i was pleased to see all 4 strains where still around the same on development with this one perhaps being slightly further on then the others. The Ams supreme is the smaller of the 2 AMS autos. She is starting to throw out some nice colours now. I'm confident this one is going to hit my 13 weeks scheduled for it, so not long left. This one certainly a lot taller than the rest have levelled out best i can by propping the others on boxes to raise them Little bit of late trimming underneath to help airflow and to avoid rot with it being little cramped Happy with plant so far i guess although i would have preferred it to be more like the others bushier and shorter Not too bad overall though cant wait to see things all fatten up in this second half of flower now

Day 35 – The Pineapple Express is stacking on some dense bud formations with increased frost. Some of the pistol hairs are beginning to turn orange. She is maturing fast. She gained about 2” in height this week, but vertical growth is slowing. Continuing to feed the Nectar for the Gods nutrients and have added Triton’s Trawl (liquid fishbone meal that is rich in calcium from fish cartilage and is designed to deliver flavor, aroma and color to the finished product) and Aphrodite’s Extraction (a rich blend of sucrose, fructose, chelated nutrients, and organic acids necessary for enzymatic activity, and a complete balance of vitamins A, C, D, E, B1, B6 and B12, which are essential to a plants’ biological growth processes). These two additions are known to increases oil, resin, frost, and terpene production in flower. Continuing to add Recharge as a soil amendment to establish colonies of beneficial fungal and bacterial microbes. Temperatures are consistently between 74° - 78° and humidity between 30% - 45%. Soil pH is 6.5 and PPMs at 321 which is perfect for the Nectar for the Gods nutrient line. Hi all grow buddy's. Hopefully you all got a great week. And nice, exiting things happening in your Grow rooms. Another week gone in the cupboard with the RQS Organic Grow Gorilla Autoflower. She's looking stunning. Day-36. I am in Love 💕 She Started to form her buds slowly and nicely she's loaded with them all over. Pistils poking out every where and we have a full canopy of bud sites. Starting to smell slightly. Accepted Easy Bloom booster tablets 1/4 twice this week with 1.2l water and only water 1.2L 6PH once. I can say I haven't enjoyed an easy Grow as this RQS Organic Grow is turning out to be so far. RQS have done amazing job on the organic fertilisers Easy Boost Organic Nutrition and Easy Combo Boosters Pack. Congrats on that. The apricot is going hard on the stretch, she loved the LST and although a bit leggy she’s filling out nicely. Gave her a flush before stepping up the nutes and will look to keep spreading her out this week .

It's now the start of Week 6. I defoliated like 4 fan leaves because they were disgustingly huge, 😅. So I added the "Defoliation" grow technique. 😆

I planted 3 seeds to germinate, but only one sprouted. Sad. After it emerged in the coco, the first watering was done with aloe vera juice. The next day, it was irrigated with Azospirillum, a bacteria that promotes plant growth, fixing N. The third watering was done with an aerated tea consisting of mycorrhizae, molasses, and worm castings. The fourth watering was done with fertilizer, with a ppm of 700. I used Plant Prod and Calcium Nitrate. For the fifth watering, I repeated the tea, and finally, another watering with fertilizer, with a slightly lower ppm (541). All waterings maintained a pH between 5.5-5.8.

Day 22 and there have been significant changes in the size of the fan leaves. The stems are looking much fatter and more sturdy as well. Cheech has her 5 nodes, perfect and ready for topping. I am going to put off topping her though until Venezia is ready and that should be in the coming couple of days. Other than that, changed water and adjusted the lights about 3cm higher to keep them at 60cm from the plant. Again I left the Milwaukee PH controller to run for about an hour to get the PH down to 6.0 Day 25 and ladies have been topped at node 4, keeping node 3 and cleaning node 1 & 2. Light LST on Cheech’s axillary buds which are already well developed Day 27 - following up with gentle LST twice daily, tightening up the formation of the mainline. I’ve noticed what seems to be a bit of stress on the leaves of Cheech (see photos) which is affecting both plants under the same light. So I’ve moved the light up a few centimetres and rechecked and adjusted the PH which was at around 6.4.

As of day 43 (November 13), the NYC Diesel has stopped stretching and is putting on weight throughout the buds. It is an important time for the plant, as the flowering is going to be critical for quality and yield, but it is also a little boring not having anything to do besides watch, water, and wait. It's doing well with the nutrients so I am upping the phosphorus/potassium it is getting, and I am going to try to slightly lower the cal/mag to help reduce the nitrogen. I am continuing with the Armor Si as an extra potassium boost as well. I try my best not to overfeed, as I find the auto flowers with my lighting setup are sensitive to more agressive feeding schedules. Day 46: did a small defoliation, will probably be the last. At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering.
