So the net is installed, lets wait until it is full covered and then going into bloom. I make this time a trial only to feed the Organe sherbet with Melass yeast buddermilk and sugar in vegetation. The yeast will produce the whole grow enough co2 to keep it up about 800 ppm only thing you have to do is to put some sugar in the feeding solution.

Ginger Nut Cookies and Aussie music videos week six Thursday 6th feb 2020 Hi Growers well I decided to bite the bullet and attempt some LST and topping , I gently bent it over and tied each branch down to a predrilled hole in the pot with some soft wire. I then topped each node that was showing. If any one has any extra tips or advice on how I should go about my training I would welcome it as I am still learning . This girl is definately showing some Indica dominant characteristics about her and looks nice and healthy. I will continue to train the branches as they grow and tuck fan leaves that block light . Now for the Music Videos ###### This Week I chose two songs from two different Music Videos and two different artists both spreading the message about Reconciliation and land rights for our Indigenous Brothers and sisters here in Australia . This is something I feel is very important and is still a major issue over 200 years later. The first song and video is from Yothu Yindi which is an Aboriginal based group with their hit song "Treaty" heres the link for that video https://youtu.be/Jf-jHCdafZY and their is a brief snippet of it above in the pics and vids for this weeks update. Song and video number two is from a Group called Midnight Oil and this one is also all about giving back to the Indigenous. And basically giving them the oppurtunity to make decisions for themselves based on their own culture and beliefs and not what the politicians say they should. Here is the link for that one I hope you enjoy https://youtu.be/ejorQVy3m8E I will be back next week with another growth update and more Aussie music Videos 👍 Grey_Wolf 6th Feb 2020

The ladies really didn’t have too much change this week except girl #2 seems like she’s caught up in height to girl #1. I have to make a correction to from week 3. I stated I topped the girls when i actually did some light FIMing.I wanted to be sure i corrected that mistake before my diary process any further. I kind of went a little too heavy on the feeding and the girls showed some slight yellowing and a 1 leaf started to Slightly curl into a taco. Nothing too serious but I definitely will be dialing back on the feeding doses. decided to do some defoliation To the fan leafs that were significantly blocking light from future bud sites. I’m not sure how these girls will take to me cutting off foliage. Only time will tell. These girl are starting to put off Some stank. The smell it’s very strong but you can get a sense of what’s to come. It smells of gassy sweet pineapple citrus. Have to admit I was skeptical until I did a stem rub and these girls were spot on. When rubbing the stem they smell so much more sweeter almost like a candy sweet smell. really appreciate all who have viewed my diary. I’m actually shocked how people viewed it so far. Thank you very much for the love 💚. I’m grateful and humbled for your support. Hopefully these girls start to go into the pre flowering stage in the next week, I’m over excited to see them develop. Again thank you all for your support and comments and suggestions are welcomed💚

Dealing with very strong winds this week. Also morning temperatures are below 15°C causing quite a bit of morning dew. Clear tarps are a big help as long as the strong wind doesn’t blow it away ha ha

🌿 Grow Update: Week 6 of Flower 🌸 Hey growers, We're cruising through Week 6 of flowering, and I gotta say, things are looking solid in my grow setup. This being my first rodeo, I'm pretty stoked with how it's all turning out. The plant's rocking a deep green, which could be a bit of nitrogen overload or just her natural vibe. Regardless, she's thriving, Ive been so stupid letting her get so big in a 5gallon i wouldn't be surprised if she is rootbound.. Got a bit of a snag with some lower bud sites getting overshadowed by the top canopy. Didn't want to push my luck with more defoliation i cant really at this point of flower, but hey, it's all a learning experience next round, I'll be more surgical. Already thinking about the next grow — tossing in a couple of plants in 5-gallon pots, keeping veg short and sweet at 4-5 weeks. Gonna tighten up the training game for sure. Despite the lower buds not getting as much love, the top ones are coming along nicely. She's a thirsty one, so I'm hitting her with 4 liters at lights on and another 2 liters a few hours before lights off to keep that coco from drying out. Got about 3-4 more weeks to go, and I'm itching to see how it all pans out. Can't wait to see the final yield and taste the goods. Here's to a killer harvest ahead! 🌿💧✂️🌸 #GrowLife #Week6 #FirstTimer #HarvestCountdown

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2204 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Grow Strong! 💪😎🤙

All 3 plants are adapting very well to LST, the shape its growing into have been allowing the light to reach further into the lower growth nodes and branches. I like to start bending the branches close to the main stem as early as week 3 of VEG. Now these 3 Northern Lights Auto seeds are from Sun West Genetics, they were all germinated, planted, trained, fed the same way they have been on the same controlled environment since day 1, the 3 are totally different, I know each plant is unique in its own way, but I find strange that 1 plant is taller and stronger than the other 2, the smaller one is growing weak leaves with signs of mutation, all 3 plants show signs of Magnesium deficiency, these 3 plants are sharing a grow tent with a Haze Auto from Seedsman, all 4 plants are under the same diet, the Haze have no signs of deficiencies or mutations, I guess that shows what good genetics look like. For the Magnesium deficiency I have mixed my own Epson salts into water and applied as a foliar spray, internet said the spray should be used every other week, wait 2 weeks to see results. Signs of Nutes burn, I decided to stop feeding for this coming week. The 3 NL leaves are looking unhappy, kind of clawing under, they look lifeless, I have ruled off a few potential problems such as: Wind Burn Under Watering Water PH Light Burn, just moved the QB higher to 17 inches from the highest canopy today. If any of you fellow growers have advice for the leaves, please let me know. Stay Lit folks 👩‍🌾🏻

February 28, 2019 Update: Chugging right along in the veg tent. I sprayed the plants with Neem Oil last week and the leaves look shiny from that, but no new signs of bug damage since then. I did feed them a little Recharge also and they really responded great to that. After taking the pics I did some HST bending at the base of the stem on all plants. I didn't bend them over, just pinched real hard and wiggled the plant back and forth until I could feel the bend between my fingers. We'll see how that goes. The DinaMed's are still taller than the MediKush's but the MediKush's still have a nice tight node structure. If all goes to plan I'll have my flowering plants chopped and hanging in 2 weeks and will then be able to move these girls into the flowering room. Bonus pic at the end of the view from my bedroom window. I'd love to see my buds get that frosty!

I went away for a week and forgot to switch the lights over to 12-12. They had an extra 5 days veg! Things are getting too big for my tent now! I’ll top it and see how it goes.
