Afghan Hash Plant, week 6 of flower. Another frosty strain, but not quite as frosty as the Mango Merengue but still beautiful. The Afghan Hash has a sweet citrus smell with an earthy smell. Not much to do other then water since they got their last bit of slow release nutrients acouple days ago which lasts 3 weeks.

Runoff ph is a bit high this time. Don’t know why. Around 6.8. Average ph going in is 6.0. Also the big fan leaves on ice cream cakes are kind of strange shaped. Will see how they are going to look later.

I've let our girl blue grow for an extra week and I think our base is looking really strong. It's time for topping to creat the base of our manifold. To do this were going to use he Nebula's Manifold technique by Nubula Haze from GrowWeedEasy.com. I'm in no way affiliated with the site or Mrs. Haze but I have found her website to be a great place to start my cannabis growing journey. I've done so much more research now but it did start for me back in 2020 at GrowWeedEasy.com Anyway I've got some video that will explain the method as I top the plant but basically what we're going to top down to the 3rd node and then clean all the extra growth off. This should leave only two growth tips and their fan leaves. Check out the photos and videos for more details. Feeding and light schedules continue as normal.

Ran 2 seed from both, all popped easy. Veg stage was smooth—Candy Store RBX with medium long internal soacing, Marshmallow OG compact and sturdy. Topped, LST’d, ScrOG’d, both responded like champs. Flowering hit week 4: Candy Store kept those fluffy buds, sweet berry/candy smell blasting. Marshmallow stretched like crazy until week 4. Had to lift the Candy to keep the canopy even. Marshmallow OG went full compact, colas dense, straight gassy with a heavy chemical punch— diesel vibes in the mix. Trichomes frosted early, looked insane by week 6. Harvest week 9: Candy Store RBX gave frosty, a bit fluffy buds, pure candy/berry flavor, uplifting and social. Marshmallow OG delivered tight, dense nugs, straight gas, chemical-heavy flavor, relaxing body buzz creeping in. Both fire, but totally different vibes. Candy = fruit bomb, Marshmallow = full on gassy chem punch. Visually and flavor-wise, the two perfectly complement each other. I’m super happy with this round. Both turned out purple at the end of flowering.👌

Have about 10 flavors still trying to decide on what exactly I’m doing I chopped them in half, I’m excited to see these flowers from the outdoor grow I have

Still dealing with some deficiencies in Thai one growing three other plants in same tent no issues like the one with this one

I switched them to 12/12 four days ago so I’ve let them do their thing for most of the week. Today they were defoliated and any suckers with no chance of making the net were removed. The canopy was getting dense and humid with the large fan leaves the 8 ball produces. I’ll do this again at the end of the 3rd week flowering. All the training has finished now. This strain doesn’t stretch much at all so I’m letting them come up and gain some height. Any LST done from now on will be to keep things in check. Happy growing.

Harvesting a little earlier than when i would like, because of the rise of bugs that appeared last days due to climate conditions... this year temperatures are oscillating more than usual having 1 rainy week, then a sunny hot one just after it rains.. In fact, last year, it did not rain until November So the plagues were on the leaves, mildew powdery(just a coulpe of leaves),aphids(like just in the leaves of one cola), and some caterpillars almost ready to get out and start eating all the buds, (hopefully i cut that day).. Sounds bad, but the parts of the plant affected was only the leaves... and means that a proper cleaning is coming so removed all the leaves and the result is what you can see, that bonsai.. Spotted 2 dead material points in big colas, that i removed after drying.. I did not weight the plant wet because of the smell that i had on my house that day, things went very tense, i was a bit busy, and even, it has not much sense to me, im better weighting the dry material. So at the end i think im having very good quality, and the affected parts are less than i thouth at first, so im very happy with the results.. On the scales are the best buds, the rest is the lower part of the colas that were less developed so im doing hash with that part.. @ 1.4-1.5 kPa I discovered some spider mites, just an extremely small amount. I removed all unnecessary leaves over the last week and increased the humidity and airflow in the tent. Last but not least, I added some predatory mites to ensure the population stays small, likely because my RH was extremely low, in the 40 range.

I’m overjoyed with the phenos this strain is producing, strong vibrant purples with some serious flavour profiles!
