Yeah that is a con with led in winter especially if your subterranean but an advantage in the summer.
I will run dual because I feel the girls should respond better to it, I feel like hps win a on fruit mass but led wins on quality in terms of trich & terp production.
Each lamp must have something the other doesn't.
If Im correct then the centre of my canopy should show a nice equal split of mass and quality flanked on the led side by smaller more frosted nugs and flanked on the hps side by smaller to equal sized but slightly less frosty nugs. I guess time will tell. I really should buy a lux meter to adjust my light angles and try get the whole canopy as much of both as possible.
