Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. Her first week above ground! I didn't do a very good job with this strain last time 😏 Lets see what happens this time.

10/20: I foliar fed her today with some SP-90 humic/fulvic acid and kelp me kelp you. She will probably get fed again tomorrow. Drying out quickly- 10/21: I applied Axiom again today..I sprayed her with the finest mist I could produce..tops and bottoms of all leaves to the point of runoff. I fed her about a 1/4 gallon with nutes. I put another big fan in the closet and turned off the evap cooler for the night so she'd dry out better. 10/22: I used a stainless steel skewer to poke a bunch of little holes in the lower part of her fabric pot to try and improve oxygen availability to her roots. I also carefully arranged the garden so that there are gaps between all the pots. I think I'll also space my waterings a little further apart. The topsoil is drying out well enough, but I don't want her roots sitting in muck. 10/23: She's flowering now, and starting to stretch a little bit. After observing signs of nitrogen toxicity yesterday, I realized that I made another rookie mistake...(where is my head??) The new 5 gallon bucket I'm using to mix a batch of nutes must be about 2 inches shorter than the one I had been using, and I never bothered to calibrate it....which I did today. So, for the past couple of feedings, I've been mixing in enough nutes for 5 gallons, but in only 4 gallons of water!!! I foliar fed with BoomBoom Spray and gave her about 8oz of boomerang and cal-mag early in the morning, and by 5pm she looked happier. Compared to the hybrid seedlings in the space, she's got very narrow, sativa-looking leaves..should be a treat!😋 I raised the lights about 2 inches today and dialed the ac infinity's high temp trigger up to 88f for a bit to get her to dry out a little faster, so the RH climbed a little higher as well...so I also set the ac infinity's high humidity trigger threshold to 65%. 10/24: I fed her another little dose of boomerang and cal-mag, along with some bembe and open sesame. 10/25: I fed her about 1/4 gallon with everything except Grow Big. I'll flush her on Sunday or Monday with Sledgehammer and only foliar feed with fulvic acid and boom boom spray until mid-week. Then I'll give her a good douching with humic acid, myco, tricho and beneficial bacteria and bembe(molasses and beet sugars/rock phosphate/trace elements) to keep the microbes thriving. I'll go heavy with P and K later in the week. 10/26: Last day of week 4 and she's doing great! Her pot is still pretty heavy after her feeding yesterday, so it will probably be Monday before I flush her.

Alfalfa Meal, 2 tbsps. Organic Molasses, 2 tbsps. Bat Guano, 2 tbsps. kelp meal) As Per *Canucks Grow* 24 hours water aerated & 24 hours for the Tea to Cook! Beginning of week... The flushing has begun! I flushed with 1L of just pH'd filtered water.. Then flushed with 1L of distilled water.. Not pH'd.. Havent used FloraKleen yet, wanting to get the TDS down as much as possible, then using the FloraKleen to remove the leftover nutrients and whatnot.. Next day... Flushed with FloraKleen in distilled water pH'd to 6.3.. Runoff is now reading 50 PPM 6.3 pH.. She is doing great.. Can't wait to see what this strain is all about! Mid week.. Man, this plant smells so amazing! I can't wait to taste this girl! I've just been giving her refrigerated distilled water daily.. I'm gonna start using JUST rainwater pH'd to 6.2 - 6.3 once this gallon of distilled is used up lol.. So far, I've gotten the runoff TDS down to 30 PPM.. Perfection! Can only get better (...or stay the same.. That's fine too lol) from now till harvest.. I may do the 48 hours of darkness.. But that's next week.. Love this strain so much! End of week.. I don't think this strain is a colorful one.. Which is fine.. Quality is still there for sure! The smell is awesome! Milky/cloudy trichomes.. She should be ready for harvest in another 7 - 8 days! I can't wait to taste this girl! Just plain, low TDS, pH'd water till then. On to the (last) next week!...

In Scrooge's 6th week of vegetation, some leaves drooped, showing signs of light burn. I reduced light intensity to 60%. Two weeks ago, there was overwatering, but it seems to have recovered. Watching and waiting.

Up to now they looking pretty good and strong, even tho some of the plants are not as dense and is maybe a bit late to date with the other ones. Ill have to give them another 1 or 2 other weeks until harvest. The trichromes look preety good even tho.in the picture dosent show well. They starting to consume less water and the leaf colour is starting to fade slightly .

THC Bomb from bomb seeds has been steadily putting on weight this week. The bulking is happening now. I had to reduce my bloom nutrition a pinch was dragging my ph down it was too strong. Der Stretch ist mittlerweile voll im gange und sie zieht sich ordentlich Wasser über die Dochte. Sobald der Stretch durch ist, werde ich ein bißchen entlauben.

Waiting on time... She's ready for a transplant now and I'm waiting on my nutes to be delivered so I can amend the Coco. Great looking roots on her though and she's getting spread out early on to promote some side branching. She'll be much happier in the 3.9 gal AutoPot with the Beanstalk slow release amended media. I think I'm going to scrog her out as well to maximize the bud sites. Should start getting exciting here soon enough... If the postal service can get me my materials.

Day 49 This plant looks healthier compared to the last one, but it’s still showing clear signs of stress. The leaves are drooping heavily, with some lower leaves already yellowing and fading. The overall color is a lighter green than ideal, which suggests either ongoing watering stress or nutrient uptake issues. The structure is more compact, with tighter node spacing, but the canopy lacks vigor. Growth has slowed noticeably, and the plant doesn’t have the strong, upright energy you’d expect at this stage. It feels like it’s been set back by previous stress and is now just holding on. Watering remains the most critical factor — the droop strongly hints at overwatering being the main issue. Letting the medium dry out more thoroughly before the next watering is key, and I’ll continue to be very cautious with how much water it receives at once.

Well harvest day is here, there was so many problems but we got it to harvest and have ended up with some great smoking buds to see us through till the next crop.... thanks again to DankLandDownUnder for sticking by with his help and also helping me plan the next grow...
