Nearing the end with these ladies now, maybe another week in flower and I’ll ruthlessly murder them all. Been over a week since my last update. Photos taken day 51 of flower

End of Week 9 of Flowering! I skipped Week 8 because I literally had no time for an update, but not much changed anyway. Temperatures spiked brutally - during Week 8, my growbox hit 32°C (90°F). To compensate, I dimmed the light to 75% power and raised it to about 60 cm above the canopy. This kept temps around 29°C (84°F), with occasional peaks at 31°C (88°F). Gotta say, the ventilation helps a ton, and I avoided any "foxtailing." Since mid-Week 8, I’ve cut all nutrients and only fed pH’d water at 6.2. The plants are still drinking, and under the 60X jeweler’s loupe, they clearly need more time. Most trichomes are still clear/milky, with very few amber ones—especially on the leaves rather than the buds. I’m a bit worried the heat might’ve delayed ripening. A good sign, though: the natural yellowing of leaves suggests we’re nearing the end of the cycle. The Sensi Stars (supposedly 8-week flowering time) still need longer, despite having the fattest, densest buds of the bunch. For now, I’m sticking to plain water and checking trichomes daily, hoping to chop some plants soon. Despite the splendid aroma and delicious profile, the cultivation process of "Blueberry Auto" proved to be less favorable than promised. My expectations collided with reality when the plant remained relatively small, despite all my efforts. The sown seeds exhibited a discouraging germination rate, and even those that sprouted turned into mutants, adding unpredictability to the process. Despite these challenges, it cannot be denied that the scent and taste of this strain are so captivating that they compensate for many cultivation shortcomings. This raises food for thought: in the pursuit of the perfect growing experience, where aroma and plant size become paramount, how does one strike a balance?

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. This week also included a thorough system clean, ensuring everything runs smoothly as we enter the final flowering stages. 🌿 Bud Development: Pure Magic! The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. Small harvest but was due to the over feed of CAL-MAG I had quite early on but still pulled through and flowered almost and OZ. Really nice Sativa from Barneys Farm.

She was looking sad and droopy before transplant (probably overwatering) but after about 10 days in her new home she’s looking much happier. Getting good growth.

Well, another week has passed and the end of the second week has come and the pistils have already shown themselves and I continue watering with top crop bloom, first time testing this fertilizer and I'm only using two of them, top veg and top bloom, next cycle I'm going to use General Hydroponics fertilizers because I have a friend who uses them and he's having great results, I still want to talk to my friends about this strain because I think it hasn't grown as it should, but anyway we're studying to improve ourselves for the next ones, the rest is all experience for the next ones it grows. =D

this diary is a week ahead. will get in back in line soon. day 0-7 to be as week 1 not including the germ week. This banner kept much shorter than its brother. its also in a slightly shallower tub of soil so this one is flowering a bit quicker than its counterpart too. to keep it at the same height as all my others ive raised it from the floor slightly and then put the screen over top to bend the top cola. buds forming nicely now. i said fuck it. full organic feed for you.! nutes then fresh water twice then nutes again. deinking now a litre every 3 days. hardy plant but a couple white spots on the leaves... slight calmag to give prob.. end of week 5 flowering up to day 35. week 6 as of 36--> ps if anyone has a spare grow tent that they could donate me that would help a brother out ;) day 40. adjusted to normal schedule

Again week went smooth. Nothing much beside watering and checking out its progress but for the next weeks I guess there will be a lot to learn.. forgot to say that I was spraying leaves every day with neem oil to prevent most of the insects
