This week was a bit stressful. I was trying to identify the nutrient excess/deficiency. I think i narrowed it down to calcium deficiency, but these symptoms could also be a side effect of potassium excess (but what I gathered from my research, there is a very slim chance of this). Anyway I started to add CalMag to my regular waterings and they're showing some correction. I'll probablly water them with water, CalMag and lower than recommended amounts of nutrients for a day or two just to make sure. I had them on a 12/12 light cycle for 4-5 days, they've streched and risen up, which was what I wanted. They now on a 16/8 cycle.

This week was the last week of veg., I will switch to 12/12 (light/darkness) in week 6. The two Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are now 35 and 40 cm tall and have developed nice side-branches, which have grown upwards so they get enough light for good budding sites during flowering. The plants are still fed following the Advanced Nutrients schedule.

Week 10-12 This week the Purple Queen really going to the moon. Northern lights is growing buds and smells beautiful. Change water every week. Had problem with ppm in the water, it's was higher the day after even if I put fresh water in. Did read it can develop salt around roots soni flush it and now is dropping 100 ppm a day at least. Still a bit worried about not enough space between buds and wondering if they going to grow alot taler.

Pero mereció la pena esperar el colocón es bastante fuerte, para mi que , sativa dominante a mi parecer, 24% de thc , cruzada entre cookies x OG Kush , muy productora en general. Así esto es todo , pronto más trabajos, buenos humos familia.

There's a blank week, sorry about that. There are detailed pictures and explanations of the current situation. At this point, the older plant seems to be doing fine. However, the younger plant's growth has definitely slowed down. Suspecting potassium deficiency, that's why I increased the nutrient amount. But K deficiency might not be the only thing that's wrong. My pH levels should be fine, got a new meter and did calibrations regularly.

I had a big problem with the nutrients unfortunately I think it was an excess she was stressed I recorrected the problem

I placed the 2 seeds in a damp paper towel and placed it into a closed Tupperware. The tupperware was placed in my stereo cabinet (warmest place I could find) and less than a day taps roots were showing. I then placed them in my humidity dome and within 18hrs I had roots sprouting thru the bottom of the sponge. This has been the best start I have yet to have. I also built a new RDWC system with waterfalls to veg and flower these two in. I have photos and video above on the new tent setup. I have it running with just regular tap water until the seedlings are ready to go in. I have also installed a 90gpd RO system (APEC brand) under my kitchen sink. The water comes out 5.8ph and 7ppm. I will be using this RO water thru the entire grow with some Cal-mag of course. The system holds about 25 gallons total of water. The main res is 17 gallons and the two buckets are 5 gallons. I will no longer be using air stones. I have a recirculating pump in the main res, waterfalls in the buckets and of course the main pump running the whole system. Should be plenty of air for the roots. I used 2 in return pipes in the hopes of avoiding roots clogging the pipes. I scrogged last time but I'm not sure I will be going that route. I might just top and train. I will be doing a major defoliation on one and just simple trimming on the other. I am trying to find out if the risks of stressing the plant are worth the returns. Well wish me luck....and away we go. Timelapse! I've meant to get a timelapse camera set up since I first started this grow. I am reasonably confident that future weeks will include full-week timelapses. For most of this week, my plant has seemed to have stopped growing. It got to a point where the leaves were becoming wilted, which prompted me to add nutrients. I was a bit skeptical regarding whether it was a good time to do this, or if I would be adding nutrients prematurely. All has seemed to have gone well with the nutrients, as the next day the leaves perked up substantially. Mid week, I changed the light schedule form 18/6 to 20/4 because I figured more light would enable better growth. Currently, I am puzzled as to why the leaves have developed some light and dark splotches. Could this be a result of light stress? EDIT (in response to my leaf spotting question): Thanks to those who have responded to my leaf spotting question! I have raised the light from 18.5in (I never measured it until now) to the recommended 24in. There is no chance of nutrient solution getting on the leafs to cause the spotting, but I did spray the tent with water + (dilute) hydrogen peroxide in an attempt to raise the humidity. Maybe this is the cause? I am currently battling the relative humidity. As someone mention, it is low! If i plug in my room-humidifier, the humidity will get way to high (80%+). I've placed an open container of tap water + hydrogen peroxide mix in the tent, but it doesn't appear to do much! I'd like to note here that I am using liquid indicator drops for my pH, so the pH is only my best measurement at the time of mixing solution. My pH may not be as low as I indicated this week! I think I'll throw in some tap water in lieu of cal-mag supplements,. I figure my city's hard water may be of benefit here!

Day 49 of this grow and I wish I could be taking better care of these girls but am doing the best I can. Throughout the grow I have done nothing but water once a day with calmag. I will be adding a compost tea in the coming days. I have been dealing with a nasty fungus gnats problem and after changing the environment and spraying. Neem seed oil they are under control. Hopefully things go well from here on out and it’s some 🔥 it smells wonderful already and each having its own unique quality to them! Happy Growing Cheers! 🌱🎄🔥

She was eager to grow from the start. I didn’t think she was going to be a tall plant, she had a massive stretch. Next time I would like to grow her out in a larger pot and have her directly under the light by herself to get the most out of this strain. She’s a beauty.

Esta planta se ha vuelto una bestia creadora de resina, ahora la mantendremos en este estado y quizás necesite ser alimentada alguna vez más 🤔 tengo ganas de cortarla, pero la dejaremos a a que madure un poco 😌 Los tricomas están 70% lechosos 20% transparentes y 10% ámbar. This week went well too... I was expecting even more volume so far, but I'm still satisfied... I think the overdrive next week will fix it... smell-wise, I have to say it smells very fruity and sweet... I hope it continues like this.

Masive yield as always The heatwave was insane

Final painting and floor trim completed. Walls are white and bright. I started to construct the main flood table. It is made of 2x3's and a sheet of chipboard. I fastened some rails at the perimeters and used caulking to seal all gaps. I will coat the face of the chipboard with a polyurea flat roof coating to make it completely watertight. I have 1/4 : 12 slope on it right now so that it drains to the reservoir end. I stained the sides of the table grey to match the floor trim because ambiance matters Shelves are up to hold my nutes/test pens/genetics/nug/papers/etc... I brought in one of the 3 HLG 550 clone qb's to test for light as I have never seen them in action. WOW!! Having one running is quite intense, I cant wait to see what all 3 going over the 4x10 area will look like (with shades on of course) A minor adjustment is needed to the height of the A/C exhaust vent. It is currently too high by 2" and needs to be lowered. Kind of a pain in the ass, but needs to be done for the table to fit snug. Very big yield for such a small plant, this plant got topped my other ones without topping grow way bigger. the plant starts slow but once she start budding it goes all by very fast also a heavy drinker. The smell is also intense when they flower, never had so much THC on leaves everywhere when trimming. this is definitly a keeper for its speed and yield. Dry bud weight was 85grams and 4 topped like this one can easy fit under 400watt
