CANADA DAY UPDATE🇨🇦 THE TRAGICALLY HIP🤘🥁🎸🇨🇦 MY SAYING NOW IS: THE ONLY WAY TO GROW IS WITH THE HYDRO🤘 AND REACH FOR THE STARS WITH MARS🤘🤣. So it's been almost a week under the new MARS HYDRO FC4800 and the girls are loving it.. leaves were straight up like they were at a rock concert just blowing in the wind waving their arms like they are in the moshpit🤣🤣 looked so sweet👍. after a day they have stretched so much I had to raise the light already to keep it at 14 inches above the canopy. Plants grow so uniform under these lights, canopy is always nice and even👍. it has a whiter light than the mars tsw2000. Being side by side in my 8x8 tent, I can really see the difference in the color of light. The FC4800 is more of a white light like natural light. I think it might be the blue uv Diodes they added to the fc series lights. I'm amazed at how good this light is already. Barely any heat comes off it. I can rest my hand on it when the dimmer is at 100% and it's just warm. I have it daisy chained to my TSW2000 and it works awesome👍 and I dont have to reach for the other dimmer to do both. One dimmer controls both lights. When I add more lights I will daisy chain them too and control 4 lights from 1 dimmer👍. I still love my tsw2000. It's been going almost non stop since I got it and no issues at all. I take a picture of the Diodes to see if any have burnt out or anything, everything is fine.  same thing with the heat it gives off is just like the FC4800. I can rest my hand on it without burning me👍. Having both lights on 100% because I in flower now, only raises my temperature about 3°celcius. Make sure you got some calmag and if you use reverse osmosis water (bottled water) or filtered water you will want extra calmag because it's filtered out of it👍. These lights are perfect for every stage of growth for germination to flower. Just use the dimmers to reduce the intensity of the lights for whatever stage you are in. Plus they are easy to raise and lower them with the ratchet straps. MARS HYDRO'S recommended height for different stages is pretty accurate but different strains like different Temps and light sensitivity so that's something to look into, a more Mediterranean strain can take more heat and intense lighting. and you can just follow their recommendations for the height for each stage. I slowly turn it up in the later veg cycle until I'm at 75% about a week before I switch to 12/12 and after about 4 or 5 days into flower I'm at 100% with no heat or light stress👍. Mars hydro is awesome for their pricing for what you get👍. They should cost alot more than other brands but shhhhh don't tell them🤣🤣🤣🤣. Just kidding. they want to stay competitive with every brand but there stuff is always cheaper than SF and vipar etc. They know once you use mars hydro products you won't switch to another brand. Why pay more money for something that isn't as good. I've seen lights cheaper than mars but they are cheaper for a reason. They are built cheaper. My TSW2000 is fairly heavy too. But when it comes to getting lights you want some weight to it so you know it's built strong and sturdy and will last a long time.. I called customer service a few times and they will help you out with any questions you may have about the products and they are very well educated in their products👍 very helpful and very friendly. They are awesome 🤜🤛. I can't say enough about this grow tent too. The thing is a beast. I could use the canvas tent to make a trampoline and i doubt it would break its that thick👍 I've had some cheaper tents made of 600d canvas and they aren't that bad. But when you get a tent made from 1680D canvas material it's insane how strong and heavy it is. Before I put the tent together when I lifted the canvas to start wrapping the frame I said to myself.. LORD TUNDERIN JESUS this has some nice weight to it. It was the easiest tent to put together that I've ever had. I went inside with the lights off and got someone to turn it on after a minute or two to look for light leaks and there was none👍. It even blocks out some noise, so if your fans or filters are loud, once it is zipped up it gets quieter. this tent is awesome with So many ports and vents for whatever you need to hook up to it. It has frame bars down the middle and one vertical pole in the middle to keep it sturdy but the poles are made nice and so thick that they probably didn't even need a vertical bar in the middle. It has 2 separate 4x8 floor trays that divide it into 2 4x8 tents. All you need is a mylar divider to easily divide it in half. I love the stickers it comes with. It's nothing big to some people but I know there is lots of people that like them because you see them everywhere in people's tents and in pictures. I love them they are super cool stickers👍. It really locks in the light and temperature and humidity good. Lots of room for all the equipment I have to go in it and will get to put in it. Be good to bring camping too🤣🤣🤣🤜🤛. February 23, 2021 (Week 7, Day 50, Flower 1): It's the first day of flower! The plants slept for 12 hours last night and will keep that up until harvest. Still seeing pretty crazy growth even for the 12 hours of darkness they went through. Grew about another .5". Excited to see how much these things stretch. Soil was very dry this morning so I watered with 4l of water per plant with 3ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Big Bud + 1ml Cal-Mag Plus + 1/4 tsp/gal Humboldt Nutrients Big Up Flower Powder with a pH of 5.8. Runoff pH of 6.3. I will start watering with a 6.0 solution going forward. I also top dressed with about an inch of fresh Roots Organics Lush soil. Plants are looking great. Not seeing any problems currently. I'll keep a close eye on them as they transition. Turned down humidity another 5% today. Averaging 50% rH and 73℉. February 24, 2021 (Week 7, Day 51, Flower 2): Plants look great. Soil still moist from watering. Tilled half inch of topsoil. Averaging 50% rH and 73℉. Nothing else for today. February 25, 2021 (Week 7, Day 52, Flower 3): No complaints at all. These plants are as healthy as they can be from what I can tell. The growth sites are starting to do some funky stuff and everything is kind of starting to "clump" together. Really interesting to watch this process happen, as I've always wondered exactly how the buds begin to form. I was greeted with a very sweet smell when I opened my tent this morning, nothing strong yet. To encourage further vertical growth I've removed all LST ties except for two from Gelato 1 and Unknown 2. I adjusted the ties on Unknown 1 because it's already starting to stretch and I need it to slow down just a bit while the others catch up. Soil is semi-moist this morning but the pots are still pretty heavy, so I'll water in a day or two. Averaging 50% rH and 72℉. February 26, 2021 (Week 7, Day 53, Flower 4): Pots were light today so watered with 4l per plant with 3ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Big Bud + 1ml Cal-Mag Plus at 6.0 pH. Runoff sitting at 6.4 pH. Defoliated one more node on each growth stem - the lollipop look is coming around. It will probably be my last defoliation like this. From now on I'll only pluck fan leaves that get in the way of bud sites. Unknown 1 grew over 2" in the last 24 hours. The stretch is getting real. I removed all remaining LST ties from Gelato 1 and Unknown 2. I redid the LST ties on Unknown 1 in an attempt to control its growth, but at this point I feel like it's just going to be a lanky plant and there's nothing I can do about it. I'll do my best to keep them as level as I can. Also, I took off Unknown 2's stem cast today and it healed really, really well. I have never seen a plant do this, but it filled itself in with tissue that is soft to the touch, and there's only a slight split at the top. It's looking really great. My wife noticed the smell of the plants this morning for the first time - so that's a good sign! Plants are starting to put off a lot of their own humidity, so I haven't refilled my humidifier in days. Averaging 50% rH and 72℉. Overnight it appears Gelato 1 and Unknown 2 are doing their damnedest to catch up with Unknown 1 - they both grew about 2". Plants are looking great and are definitely starting to stretch! Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. February 28, 2021 (Week 7, Day 55, Flower 6): Top soil is pretty dry, but the pots are still heavy. I'll hold off watering for a day or two. The last 24-hour period I think I saw the biggest difference in the plants so far. Each growth stem stretched a ton on each plant, but at varying degrees. The canopy is suddenly uneven, but I think trying to keep everything even at this point will be futile. I will let them go and install the SCROG net soon if the colas start growing too differently from one another. The stipules on every plant tripled in length overnight so I think the plants are definitely getting with the new 12-hour schedule. All the plants are starting to shoot off tons of pre-flowers and pistils now. They're in the swing of things now. Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. March 1, 2021 (Week 7, Day 56, Flower 7): Soil is dry but pots still have some weight. Will probably water tomorrow. Plants are looking fantastic. Canopy is stretching all over the place. Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. Looking forward to next week! Hopefully we'll start to see some flowers poking through soon!

Day 56 Flowering: We are finally at an harvest window after only seeing the poor fft#8 pulled early. FFT#9 is still giving out lots of new pistils so wants to continue a bit longer . She has some very nice bud stacks that will benefit from another weeks swelling and growth. I decided to end the drought stress and feed again as I could not risk slowing the. down too much at this stage now. She has a lot of trichromes covering her sugar leaves and buds too but they are still fairly clear when I looked at them with the loupe. By the amount of fresh pistils still showing and popping out , she will be good for at least another week and plenty more feeds. This strain is a beautiful smelling and growing beasty. a sure fire winner once released. FFT#10 Has been in the dark for nearly 3 days now and will be trimmed up later for her drying period. She looks absolutely perfect in the flesh amd pics do not do her justice. Nice, fat , long and trich covered colas throughout the plant amd I cannot wait to sample that beautiful candy smelling trich monster. Be safe and Well growmies

I had such a good response applying raw aloe very gel to the silver haze, just look at this weeks pics compared to last weeks. You can clearly see the difference. Aloe is high in beneficial enzymes and growth factors and more importantly an excellent source of silica. Cannabis flower, specifically the trichomes are made up of between 78% and up to 86% silica depending on the cultivar, so far only a small number of cultivars have been tested. However its clear that cannabis flowers NEED silica. Silica will also help with drought tolerance, it will armour your plant against pests, it will help the plant with transpiration, it will make water transport much easier for the plant, freeing up energy for other things like flower production. Also, If used as a foliar spray once a week in veg, it will help tighten up node spacing. So if you want those frosty buds make sure you have silica readily available for your plants.

So it has begun... I've had to start utilizing string to hold up branches by tying them to the ceiling rods and surrounding equipment. These plants are healthier and happier than my first grow, so I wasn't quite expecting them to blow up like they did, therefore my single-layer screen was not enough to support the branches. Not to mention the net used was store-bought and kind of sucks. I prefer my double-layer from the first harvest. The Mimosa is packing on some major frost, followed closely by the Glookies. American Pie trichomes seem to appear and ripen much closer to the ending stages of flower.

What a harvest! Did not expect the size or quantity of buds. The previous issues did not seem to bother them at all, I just can't believe how much flower there is! Got it all drying, hopefully in a week I will be able to do the final recap and give a dry weight. Big shout out to Sweet Seeds, I don't want to overestimate it but I think we all will be shocked by the amount of dried bud I have next week!

5.23 F60 5.27 F65 - Everything has been going well this week. The plants went through a feed cycle that should carry them through flower no problemo. Started with the AACT Tea, then a bokashi drench with Fish Shit from Fishheadfarms and plain water from here on out. They are drinking quite a bit. 1.5-2 gallons a plant every 3ish days. The terps in my tents smell out of this world. The ScrOG and 3x3 are like a candy store. Passion Berry has mango/guava citrus terps while Deadstar v2 has strawberry watermelon terps. The 4x5 is much more varied, but in general the sweet pink dominates with it's grape candy terps and the dread bread cuts through with it stanky gassy lemon while the prayer pupil smells like moth balls and a bit of GMO. Very lucky to get to experience this much variety. 5.29 F67

63 days of flowering have passed, according to various colleagues they are 1/2 weeks behind on the swelling. But to me they look squat enough to pick up. Quite evident smell of sweet Hashy. Fed lightly with Bio Bloom but it was more of a rinse. 2.22l per day for 6 days, including 2 days put 1 drop of Bio Bloom in the irrigation

i went to work like 2-3 days not coming home and she is nearly dry out to dead but luckily i came back in time and fix it.

she looks really nice. the buds are getting thicker and the smell more intense. but she still has a few weeks to go. luckily no more mould or anything like that so far.

This week the weather is better. The buds are getting fat and she is developing well. Terpes are amazing, sweet fruits and fresh mint.

Esta semana tome la decisión de cortar una planta anticipadamente, obviamente la más avanzada y madura de todas (la de las fotos con flash), para poder llenar la despensa, obviamente se guardó el peso para añadirlo al peso final. Se quitó la malla y se hizo defoliación para terminar el engorde, quedando solo 3 plantas al menos 1 semana o dos a que terminen de dar lo que tienen que engordar, ya veremos 👍

Its week 10 ....6 week of flower first grow and its orgainic...looking good smelling good ...cant wait to smoke it....

Hola compañero y apasionado del cultivo 🤜🤛 Hemos tenido un tiempito de 12*12 dentro de nuestro tent casero, la luz nueva Nagasaki de BioLED Lighting ha demostrado ser eficiente y en unos exactos 7dias hemos visto los primeros signos de floración! Para ser exactos junto con la luna llena del 24 de abril el cambio se vió de manera instantánea! Por el día no había signos de sexo y a la noche ya estaban los primeros pistilos y sacos de polen en sus lugares (No sé si esto sea parte de el cambio o solo la cantidad exacta de horas en su periodo de floración) Al primer signo de floración ellas volvieron a la carpa madre con 19hs de iluminación bajo una TS 1000 . Ph: 6.1-6.5 EC: 900 100+/100- HR: 65% 5+/5-. C⁰: 19-28% La estructura se estiró muy bien y ellas toman una forma hermosa 💪🏽 Growwwwwwwww Saludos y paz para todos. 💐💚🤜🤛💚💐

Welcome to week 23 of my grow diary. Unfortunately, this is also the last week. During my daily check for mould, I noticed that one of the headbuds looked suspicious. The spot was right in the tip of one of the headbuds. In the video you can see that I have generously removed the tip. This was also the reason for the harvest. I actually wanted to leave the plant for a few more days but the mould made me decide to harvest it earlier. During the harvest, I discovered mould in the early stages in 2 other places. The flowers were trimmed wet and checked thoroughly. I hope you enjoyed my grow diary. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. All in all, I really liked this strain. Apart from the last case of mould, I had no problems with the plant. It survived the mainlining well. During this experiment I was able to gain a lot of experience for future grows. If I could travel back in time again, I would decide to leave fewer side shoots in the vegetative phase as it is already quite overgrown. Thank you for following me so far.
