This week went pretty good! I did some light defoliation, and I also had to tie up some colas for support, as they started drooping towards the floor as the buds begin to bulk up finally. I believe I have another week or two at most for them to bulk, then it will be time to flush. The pictures really do not show how this pig is taking over my little 4x4. I never thought one auto could damn near fill a 4X4, but little miss piggy is trying. The more I feed this hog, the hungrier she gets. I also started feeding her some PK booster last week. I believe my plan to rotate these autos will work out well, as there is absolutely no way I could fit 4 autos in my tent at once nearing the end of flower. Day 39 : Watering today community after 3 days. They were too thirsty and drank 2.5L per plant. I added a lot of food to the water. But it finished with 800ppm only. I think Biobizz decreased the density of nutrients. I added 1 co2 tab / 5L as every time. Also made small defoliation to the bottom for all ladies. She have reached 50cm.

These girls have become part of our favourites list and we are already discussing the next round for this strain! As you can see one of them has powdery mildew and will most definitely need a wash. This is also the one that had the issue with the rust a while back and her colours have not changed like the other two. Her buds are still beautifully formed and smell delicious, so the issues for the week are obvious, but they could be much worse.

She is doing great. Starting to flush her and harvest is next week.

Flowering continues, not seeing trichomes darken or get cloudy yet. Bought a small dehumidifier and fit it inside the tent which helped manage the RH. Started removing some fan leaves every other day to give maximum light exposure to the buds. Also changed the watering schedule from to every other day instead of every two days.

Start 25/10/2024 Harvest Day 74 - 06/01/2025 92 cm jet fuel was the taller No flush, flawless finish 2 ml a week an half before harvest then just watering with pH 8. Smelling exactly as described in Sweet Seeds site, a fruits explosion, special thanks! They sent me a lot of free stuff Thanks! 15 Apr - Lights off. 48hs of darkness before harvesting

+20cm vertical height change this week. Flowering stretch slowing down. That's bad news for me after her first 3 weeks being very slow growing. I missed the window for good veg growth by (I think...) low temps in the tent. As a very small plant cold roots stunts growth. Being an auto you cannot extend the veg period so I'm stuck with her being a very small plant. Nutrients as above added to 10L water along with 5g of 20-20-20 powdered fertiliser. Still... if we're always learning nothing is lost. Just data in the memory bank.

1ere semaine de floraison avec du travail, j’ai du enlever quelques feuilles encore et tirer les branches avec du fil, percer des trous dans les pots…. pour que la lumière pénètre bien au milieu. Pas évident d’optimiser la place dans ma petite box mais pas impossible, j’ai du placer le ventilateur au dessus des plantes.

Finishing up week 3, girls are looking nice. The middle mainlined plant looks like the winner! Great experiment to do.

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Así cumple su 11va semana de vida y 7ma semana en Floración, esta semana han habido cambios en el jardín ya que al fin pude adquirir un tent, muy contento puesto a que es lo suficientemente espacioso como para meter 6 planta. La Amnesia luce preciosa en el tent, los capullos están bien pesados y llenos de resina, tuve que amarrar los capullos principales dado a que el peso de los mismos se llevaban las ramas para abajo. En esta semana se regó una vez con fertilizantes, en la solución de riego se utilizó: 3ml Flora Gro, 4.5ml Flora Bloom, 3ml Flora Micro y 3ml MagiCal. La solución de riego marcó 515ppm y 6.0 PH.

Overall, this grow took care of itself, other than the watering and feeding. She grew like a damn tree and didn’t know if she would ever stop stretching but finally did at around 32”. She took very well to LST and this was definitely the biggest auto that I’ve grown to date. All the buds are as solid as a rock, even most of the lower stuff. There were some fluffy buds in there but will end up using that with the trim and leaves to make edibles. All in all, I ended up with 665 grams of wet bud and looking forward to seeing what the final results will be. I’ll update in a week or so with finally weight and a smoke report.
