Day 50. Gorillas goes by plan, Cookies is still a pain every time i see them ... Control garden will go to green house on day 54, rest of girls will get 24 hours of darkness and will be forced to flower .. Seems to be going good, idk if I should ad more bloom booster or just use molasses. Also the broken cola I replanted, seems to still be alive but don’t really know what else to do. Just hope I can get these out of some random guys back yard soon.

Got a little hot outside this week again and temps in the tents reached a high of 92. They hovered around 85-88 most of the time, and nighttime temps around 75. The plants have been loving the tropical like environments, and in fact showing less signs of stress now they are in warmer temps. I got my magnesium dialed back in with a few applications of Epsom Salt. The pants drank twice as normal this week. I also gave them a feeding with my fermented fruit juice I made and they seem to be loving it. I got a new bottle of cal-mag and does not seem to be as acidic, so i can add a little more than I was without it ruining my ph. It too about 15ml per gallon of the FFJ to Ph my water down form 7.8 to 6.5. I tested it before use and its PH is around 2.5. Between the Epsom salt, FFJ, and kelp. The plants are really starting to bounce back from their slight unhappiness. They are all looking near 100 percent health. At the end of the week they are are raging and praying to the light like theirs no tomorrow. Glowing vibrant lush green, the buds are also already a decent size for only being week 2. The plants and in much need of some defoliation but I will wait one more week after stretch to get that taken care of. The dehumidifier running during night cycle has been keeping things in check. The clones rooted and I potted them up to 1 gallon so I now have small moms. I got new worms and my worm bins cleaned out and set up again. Each of the 65 gallon pots got a small ball of worms added to the top soil to get the worm populations growing in them again. I was hoping those casting I added a few weeks ago with added worm eggs would hatch some but no luck so i just got some from Uncle Jim's worm farm.

5/5 MONDAY Took out the AC Infinity lights and just went with the 2 cheap blue and red lights. Samsung 301B.. H?....great lights but so powerful and no blue red combo. I noticed the plant grow towards the red spectrum LED than the whiter ones on the AC system. There are 2 on each bar. 8/31/2024 Both plants getting their first day of bloom spectrum lighting, red spectrum dominant. Already seeing signs of flowering on Plant A - the transition into flower must have been perfect. Otherwise, this plant might be an autoflower? DLI on canopy top around 30-32. Lights set to 70% intensity. Reduced lung room humidity to 50% target. Lots of rain lately and the dehumidifier is working hard to keep up with 60-80% outdoor humidity. Tent humidity is hanging out around 60-65% 9/2/2024 Checking over both plants and doing light defoliation of larger fan leaves. Looking for more pre-flower signs on Plant B. Small nodules appearing on plant B. slightly odd formations compared to plant A. I will be keeping a close eye on this over the next few days. Water level issues from last week are well within control. Since the fix was implemented the system requires about 2 fewer gallons to keep the system cycling as intended. Continuing to top the reservoir with fresh nutrient water with about 1 gallon of water per day. Still have not conducted a water change from the system. I will be planning one here closer to the end of this week when I have a little bit more free time at home. 9/3/2024 Plant A has a few signs of natural varieagation on fan leaves. Also found this cool leaf formation on a few of the larger fan leaves (see picture above). Plant B pre-flower signs still look odd, but monitoring closely. 9/6 Plant B still unconfirmed as a female. Preflower expressions are looking slightly more female, but no hairs yet. Both plants are looking healthy and doing well! The flow issues with the return line was due to a root mass making its way into the line and getting stuck. I was able to pump it out with some suction. Flow is completely returned and both buckets, back to stress free hydro for a few more days :D

Plants are all doing well and growing fast. The lights are still a bit strong for these guys so I moved them lights up a bit. Fed with fairly strong veg mix, thena supplement and water only feed once they had dried, and then a strongv eg feed again at the end of the week. The plants are burning through Nitrogen very fast. The canopy is almost completely filled in. Once every hole has a node or two I will begin the flip into preflower. I defoliated heavily to increase the amount of light getting to the center nodes. By two days later the plants had bushed out quite a bit. I think one more week before Flip should suffice. The Maui clone has quite a bit more nodes than the seeds. But the seed plants have much sturdier and healthier looking structures. I am excited to see if any other phenos express themselves. The Maui clone has been a great version in previous grows,

Growth is super, despite having splitting and getting a break where I topped due to something falling on the plant. I quickly patched her up with some electrical tape and a cable tie and she recovered within a day! Super resilient plant. She's starting to smell and putting out a few pistils already at the end of week 1 flower!

I’m definitely in the harvest window and will probably chop her any time now. Today is day 59 and tomorrow day 60. The smell is wonderful. Kind of pungent and earthy lemon type smell. The fan leaves never did recover from I guess heat stress maybe. Not sure what caused them to taco. Maybe heat or light stress. I’d let the plant go longer if the fan and sugar leaves were healthier. I don’t want to risk any dead leaves causing bud rot to take hold unless I’m overthinking it. I’m very exited to dry her soon! Will be putting my VCure to the test with its 14 day craft cycle. Very curious to see how the end product comes out through the VCure vs my previous tent dries. I suspect the finished product will be great. 😀

Sprayed her 2x with magnesium + aloe vera in the last week & watered only with rainwater.. This one grows really nice. the structure and the growth is just phenomenal. Put some old salad & leafs from defoliation on top of the soil for the worms.

Slight defoliation this week. These plants are absolutely breathtaking. However, these will be low yield plants. I normally yield an average of a qp on my auto flowers, I look for these to be around 2 ounces per plant. Maybe. I normally grow in coco loco by Bush doctor. This grow is in FFOF. But i also went to 5 gallon pots this time, usually i run 3 gallon. This leads me to believe for sure. That this is genetic. Looking forward to the finished product here however, as this looks amazing, and smells like candy.

Its winter so i connected a air hose to my 45watt fan and i blow in warm air, the other side of the hose is right above my gas heater downstairs. The out fan in the tent is on 65watts my tent stays 20celcius and humidity under 50%. I dont think my plants like this “warmed air” as my seedling curl up completely if i put them in the same tent. Its either this or let her freeze. My yield will suffer as it does every winter but hey spring is coming in a few months then its back to party hardy, or grow hardy in our case.
