📆 Harvest Week, 19-25 August 2024 19-22 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 23-24 Aug - Flushed with RO water, turned lights down to 40% power. 25 Aug - Harvested the plant, began the curing process. 💚 Thank you Divine Seeds for this sponsored grow! 📑 The final week of flowering for Pablo Escobar! I gave her a good 71 days as recommended by the breeder. She grew using every one of them until the end. Another genetic hit by all means. A pleasure to grow. This is a sativa dominate variety so expect a longer flower time. You will be rewarded with thick dense buds, covered with resins and trichomes, with a sweet herb, earthy smell, nice and danky. Began the curing process in a climate controlled closet with a RH of 53% and temp of 71deg F. The main leaves are removed before the branches are hung upside down for 7-10 days for drying. From there the buds are removed from the branches, separated, and are trimmed to remove as much leaf as possible. Then placed in quart mason jars with a 62% Boveda TerpShield packet, burped daily for about a week or until 62% RH is maintained. Then labeled and placed in a cool, dark closet for long term storage for up to about 8 months or so. 🔥 Smoke Report: It took Pablo 10 days to slowly dry out. I cut all the buds off the branches and used my 19” Bud Trimmer for a quick finished product! I’m really impressed just how fast this trimmer works. It can take about 1/2oz or 14g at a time and with 4 or 5 turns of the handle it’s finished. Nice beautiful manicured buds in about 10 seconds. No more trim jail for me. As for the smoke. The taste definitely is the same as the smell. Lemony or citrus. The high is definitely that of a sativa. Comes on slow, then creeps up on you hard. Stays with you for a couple of hours, needing only a hit or two to recharge the high afterwards. No doubt this strain is very high in THC, and should be taken into account for the beginner. Another week has gone by. Still not seeing any amber trichomes but a lot seem to be going cloudy so hopefully another 2 weeks MAX for this one. Both plants are looking kinda deficient but only a week or two left so not too fussed about that. Both plants smell very sweet and are both the same smell too which suggests a nice strain stability. Still unsure which one will yield more, one being topped and one left to its own life. Hopefully next week we will see some amber!

13 hours and 33 minutes of daylight when I took these photos and this video on August 27th. I've been slacking this month on uploading, having to play catch-up with this just like everything else in my life. I'm so glad it's going to be September in a couple days. The weather is cooling off thankfully🙏 So, I cover most of the situation in the video, but basically GG (Good Girl) is looking great and her flowers are coming along nicely, whereas PC (Problem Child) is still continuing to be a Problem. Child. First of all, PC is a much heavier feeder than GG. I have to give her almost 2x as much food as I give the other plants for her to have the same color. And since I've been running around all August and haven't had much time to tend to my beauties, I haven't been feeding as much as I could have. The other photoperiods are fine, They're still getting nutes from the soil and hopefully the mycelium from the substrate blocks have moved into the root system and are acting like good roommates and doing their part to support the soil foodweb. But this isn't enough for PC. Her flower development is definitely behind and her color is a brighter green than the other plants. Hopefully I'll have time this month to just put the groceries to her and encourage those flowers to bloom because now I'm worried about the frost that will start coming in early October. Frost and ripe trichomes don't mix very well. My apologies for repeating myself in the video😬

Ciao a tutti, il giorno 65 ho sostituito tutta la soluzione dei vasi. Dopo aver tirato via tutto ho aggiunto 20 litri d'acqua di rubinetto con 2ml/l di flora kleen (GHE). Non ho aggiustato il pH (che nella mia zona è superiore al 7.5 per l'acqua di rubinetto) tanto non ci sono sali disciolti da assorbire. Tra pochi giorni ci sarà la raccolta, sarà un'impresa pulire tutte quelle cime... PS le foto scattate il giorno 66 sono state fatte con un altro telefono

These girls are smelling amazing! I'm so excited about the purple Zkittlez phenotype! It's the dominant smell in the grow space. I flushed each plant with pure filtered water @ 6.25pH

Using some Neem oil and hydrogen peroxide ONLY ON MEDIUM (since I'm in flower), to get rid of these dumb fungus gnats I think they are the reason for the brown spots forming on the leaves. Installed a trellis this week to help spread out the canopy and improve airflow, however when I did this my dumbass accidentally snapped one of the colas, luckily I think it'll be ok because it seems to have only snapped the outer skin layer on only one side of that stem (I wrapped a piece of duct tape around the little snap to help secure it). This week went well I think I've got the fungus gnats under control, the stem I partially snapped still looks to be completely healthy and growing well so no complaints here successful 2nd week of flower👍🏾

July 5 - The girls are still doing awesome. temps are between 21-26. Humidity is 40-50. Still feeding every 24-36 hours with 3L per plant. July 6 - They are doing good. Showing lots of flower sites now. Unfortunately I did not get any pictures today. July 7 - Tons of progress since last week. I don't see any signs of any problems, and still no pests! The smell is getting A lot stronger as it starts to flower more July 8 - Still doing there thing, no problems, temps and humidity is fine. Have been feeding every 24 hours now as they seem to be really thirsty July 9 - Super happy with how they are doing. No issues yet. Smell is heavier, and tons of bud sites showing up. Only issue is they are growing pretty uneven. July 10 - Time to get a even canopy! First time doing some HST. I also did some defoliation. One of the stems split open a bit but it seems to be doing just fine. I did he HST and defoliation in the morning, i then took pictures of 12 hours later and everything seems just fine! July 11 - Everything seems to be a lot more even and the broken stem doesn't seem to affect the growth.

27/05 - Day 1 of Veg(1L of Nutrients dissolved in water poured into the tray) 1/06 - Day 6 added toothpick to help give support 2/06 - Day 7 checked on their root development, so I can transplant (Tomorrow we transplant)

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Greeting of the day! First of all, thanks to everybody who is engaging and interacting with my diary and myself. I truly enjoy and appreciate you all! The time laps of the first LST is relevant to week 4, but decided to put it here as well for the contrast. For the last week, i have increased watering volumes and put them on regular schedule, and i see pretty massive grow. Jumped from 15 to 35cm in height and thats after the first LST. I am not feeding the girls anything but water with regulated PH. Seems that the soil is rich enough to keep them fed. Today (day 33), ive decided to perform another LST, more radical than the first one. The main stems started to shoot up and it seems that the rest of the body is falling behind in growth, so i bended and twisted around the main columns of 2/3 girls. Is seems that they have reacted extremely positively. I see immediate development of secondary columns (check out the photo right after lst and in 4 hours) Also, I’ve defoliated, well… removed one leaf that I was not able to tuck anywhere. P.S. Oh! got the girls a new fan, specially designed for grow tents. They are happy and so am I. The smell is so nice, if i leave the tent open it fills the room almost immediately.
