Our beauty is looking good, isn't she? Her buds are thickening and the trichomes getting more of that gorgeous purple color. Some are already cloudy, few (most of them are damaged, probably due to looking at them under our mikroskopic lense too closely) turned amber. Harvest is set to be at week 8 in flower, so it's 2 weeks from now on, but we'll see how she develops by then. Smell-wise it's pretty bareable right now; we feared that our whole apartment would smell like a huge coffeeshop in amsterdam, but by keeping the door to our "growroom" closed you can hardly smell anything. It's only when touching some frosty leaves while defoliating that you get some of the strain-specific scents, mostly consisting of citrusy aroma with earthy undertones. Temperature is stable right now; the severe heat wave should be gone for the next weeks and by meagerly opening the door we can adjust the temperatures quite good. Humidity is also pretty solid thanks to our dehumidifier.

She is finishing up nice... Great colors and amazing lemon, grape, sandlewood smell... she has been only on water the last week... Looking forward to choping her down and hanging her up 😉 Fingers crossed all goes well to the end... 🙏

Nach langer Zeit ist es endlich soweit, ich habe sie geerntet. Bei dieser Pflanze habe ich mich dafür entschieden sie gegen den natürlichen Lebenszyklus outdoor eher zum Blühen zu bringen. Ich pflanzte sie in einen Hanffasersack den ich mit Erde auffüllte. Diesen platzierte ich auf einer Schubkarre. Wo ich wohne wird es manchmal schon im Oktober sehr kalt, sodass die Wahrscheinlichkeit für eine sichere Ernte realtiv gering ist (at this point i hope the best for my other outdoor plants). Ich rechnete mir aus wann der perfekte Zeitpunkt zur Ernte ist um noch im Sommer das Resultat genießen zu können. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt fuhr ich die Schubkarre jeden morgen um 8 Uhr nach draußen und um 18 Uhr wieder nach drinnen um optimale 12 Stunden Lichtzufuhr zu gewährleisten. Während den letzten Wochen der Blüte sind ein paar männliche Blüten aufgetaucht wie auch bei meinem indoor grow. Für einige war der Zeitpunkt der Ernte vielleicht zu früh, aber ich finde es so sehr angenehm zu rauchen und auch der Effekt ist in diesem Stadium optimal für mich. Die einzige Methode die ich hier verwendete ist das Pruning. Es erspart dir einen Menge Zeit beim beschneiden der Blüten und lenkt die Kraft auf die verbleibenden Blüten, um diese zu stärken. Nachdem ich bei meinem letzten outdoor grow viel zeit beim trimming verbracht habe, habe ich mir eine Erntemaschine gekauft (look at the video). Mit dem Ergebnis der Maschine bin ich zufrieden, da ich es per Hand in der gleichen Zeit unmöglich in der Qualität geschafft hätte. Die Blüten wurden ungefähr 2 Wochen bei guter Durchlüftung getrocknet, um am Ende wurden es 255g. Für mich persöhnlich ist es ein sehr gutes Ergebnis. Die Blüten sind schön fest und klebrig mit einem sehr süßlichen Geruch. Ich habe versucht ein paar schöne Fotos zu machen und habe meine Kreativität spielen lassen (my wife also got a great idea, you can guess which idea was mine ;D) If you have any questions feel free to ask. Another solid week of this lady just vegging along. MegaCrop is fueling her growth and she's really guzzling down the water, nearly 16 oz every 18 hrs. If there was a mini hydro category in this grow off I'd decimate all 🤣... Stay tuned I'd say we'll be seeing pistils within a few days, then the fun begins!!

We are about on earth since a month our photoperiod plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. The Black Runtz is a short lady like her normal colored little sister, with a low internodal distance. This characteristic greatly influences the application of growing techniques. In this case it is a plant that responds to topping a little slower than the others and it is best to wait for the branches to grow to avoid damaging the little ones. However, we are at 4 florets and between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will cut 8. My plan for photoperiod plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the tops to split them, we always pay attention not to damage the new branches growing. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and perfectly in shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I am a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping, my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil at the start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what it does to you. Wow she's grown 34cm this week!!!! Monster!!!!!!!!!! I wish I knew what she was!!! If I had to guess a breeder I'd say this seed came from FastBuds as it was their type of container.... But what exact strain? I have no idea whatsoever. 😭

Day 36 - In the picture, I demonstrated the efforts I put in for leaf tucking, the back half, so that light can get deeper in the canopy. A had also removed all of the flowering cover crop to prevent it from going to seed. It served its purpose and now serves as compost for my outdoor garden. Day 37 - This plant does not slow down! It is maxed out, for my preference, horizontally. Stretch is slowing down. Bud growth will now be the focus. Day 38 - She really needed a haircut, so she got one. Everytime I do this, I honestly scare myself. I know the potential these plants have, but a mistake that would cause additional stress to the defol can change everything.. cover crop is also cut down and breaking down in my outdoor garden. One last spray down before buds appear and a good feeding to push her through this heavy strip. Love to see worms hanging out on the surface of the soil, breaking down all my top dresses. Day 39 - She's praying to the skies! This plant isn't skipping a beat with vigorous growth! You can see how all those lower sites are now getting adequate lighting! Day 40 - Realized I had stopped adding picture to demonstrate her height. She's a great height! Honestly taller than I had imagined! Nodal spacing is super tight at the top. She's going to have some huge nugs! Really debating on getting another natural co2 generator to get higher levels during peek flower. Loving this plant!! Day 41 - Day 42 -

12/17/2021 They are growing well,#1 will be eliminated she is a runt, and way to far behind her sisters in growth, so culling her tomorrow. Ps. #1 sprang back to life! No sign of sex yet but soon I hope, as I was hoping for a short veg.
