It’s now time to start flower. They are looking amazing and I’m going to go ahead and throw his crocs in there. I have one tent that I have not put in flower yet just for the main fact that one of my seats became a auto flower so I’m letting them run more time to let that auto flower finish and see what that becomes

This week has been time to put on weight!! They are getting so heavy glad put in secondary scrog net. Have only been doing water so plants can just pull what they want our the soil they are starting to fade on their own. They have some amazing kinda blue tent to the buds. They have a gassy sweet smell to them! This will be the last week I feel but still see some clear heads and no amber so shall see over next week!!

More plant porn hehe... Not sure if that pollination was from the last week or the one before cutting. Either way this was the las week before chopping it down!

01/27/2022 Got a couple stragglers in cups but working on getting more pots. I apologize for rough looking leaves on the plants, I've been spraying neem oil as a preventative, and to also boost immune responses I've been doing aspirin in water regime so leaves can get beaten up being scavenged for extra energy. (to fight a non existing threat) At least in my experiences. 02/02/2022 Potted up a Lemon OG into ? gallon self watering pot will top dress with Coast of Maine 5-2-4 and water in for first week or two, then to 12-12 for her

Everything seems to be going as planned. First grow Auto strains : Ak auto (1) Kush Auto (x3) General hydroponics nutes.(1/2 strength) hps+led total of 815 watts. DWC 24h lights LST+topping on 2 plants. LST on 2 plants anything else you want to know hit me up. led at 24"

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. I have grown RQS a few times but this is my first RQS diary. The seed took 36hrs to pop and sprout in the wet paper towel. It only took another 36hrs to come fully out of the ground and loose it’s shell. I started with the lights 70cm’s from the soil which was giving a LUX💡reading of 25,000lux💡.Once the seedling 🌱 got to 5cm’s I raised the light by 5cm again to keep the distance at 70cm’s maintaining a reading of 25,000Lux💡 at the top of the seedling 🌱. On previous grows I started with the light at 80cm’s but I was getting stretching. I find if I start at 70cm’s and don’t raise the light after a day or two that the seedling 🌱 can get light burn. HUMIDITY: As you can see in photos I have milk bottle tops full of water next to the seedling. I’ve been this for a while now. I have my seedling next to a plant only a few weeks away from harvest so I need to keep the overall humidity low. I might be crazy and wasting my time but it makes sense to me. I leave these bottle tops near the seedling and over the space of a day the water evaporates off and then I refill them again with water (PH’d water). I reckon if the water is evaporating off so close to the seedling that it must be creating some extra humidity around the seedling 🌱. For the record I don’t think the earth 🌍 is flat. *I’m using RQS nutrients for this grow. I am recording the nutrients as 0.5ml as there is not a tablet option so what I mean by 0.5 is half of one tablet per 2ltrs of water. 🦍Day 3: Watered around the edges of the seedling 🌱 just to dampen the soil a bit 🦍Day 5: Dampened soil again. Looking good so far. 🦍Day 7: Gave very light watering. Happy with the height of the seedling 🌱. The light distance seems to have worked well.

Plants are starting to get out of control. Had to bend and route two of the tallest branches (one from Zoe, one from Grace). River is just hanging out in the back chilling. The new branches started covering the while netting, blocking out the humidifier. Eventually had to cut off a beautifully developing cola, because both branches got kinked I damaged Grace's trying to create space for the humidifier vapor through. NOTE: I stopped color correcting the timelapses in post after fine tuning the White balance in-camera with custom settings. Left as is to better show when I'm adding blue light to develop broader growth. Halfway through the timeplapse you can see where the screen turns dark green. That's from the fill light being plugged into the circuit not controlled by the timer. Thank God my plants have been very forgiving. I think I'm going to need to add a second grow light, because now I have some really short sections, and some really tall areas that aren't getting any light when I bring the lamp closer to the shorter blooms.

Trichomes, density, looks it’s all there but the smell which is late to the party. They still got a few weeks to go though so I’m not too worried.

Auto Moon Rock is closing in on finishing bulking. She has a sweet almost fruity kinda smell. She has a nice layer of frost. I will be switching her to ph water in a few days to prep her for Harvest. I may have to try this perlite grow again in the future. She really struggled when she was small. Regardless, I think the grow was neat and unique. I will get a nice little yield from her when done. She should be pretty potent. 6/24/25 Very stanky and gassy but not fuel. its got a very nice smell to it. Shes fading a little earlier than normal. but shes plumping very nicely. ill need to use a scrog or something else in the future to keep these thin branched top heavy nugs upright. shes leaning all the time from this way to that way. i have landscape staples placed in a triangle basically around the main stalk to keep it from deciding to lean a different way once I stake it

Shogun is taking the lead, in terms of size AND smell!!! Seriously she has not even started preflower, no white hairs and YET her aroma is amazing!!! Seriously I can't WAIT to smoke these buds. Shogun is the Ninja warrior, her genetics are Gorilla Glue #4 & Amesia Haze from RQS. The 2nd plang in the lead is Itty Bitty who's tripled in size the last week. All my girls seem to like the environment I've made for them & are loving Life. 😎
