this is my first grow and I ask for any kind of tips. If someone tells me how to make pictures without the growlamp and without disturbing the lighting cycle, of course I'd like to do this 😂
To grow,
I did not do much during the first week. I waited for the seedling between 2 cup coasters and some kitchen paper and planted it in pure Canna Terra Professional. Originally I wanted the Professional Plus but then I probably bought this wrong, but hopefully that should not be a problem.
Since I did not have a pH value gauge at the beginning, I poured the lady with well ph 8.1 tap water without knowing it and from this, like many beginners, it was clearly too much. At the beginning of the second week, I lowered the ph value more or less slowly to ph 6.5 after measurements of 7.8 in the soil and in between with 1 x 0.01 g/l Green House Short Flower Powder. I made this minimal fertilization because I could possibly recognize deficiency symptoms. Could also have come through overhydration. I'm still fresh in this😇😅

Week 3 comes to an end. Unfortunately, I came to this site late but will probably still submit a lot of texts ;-)
After I flushed out the fertilizer in the first week thanks to overpowering and the good lady got possibly deficiency symptoms I had tried it with Green House Short Flowering Powder 0.01g / l.
Today in the third week, I added another 0.02g per 1.5l of water towards the end as the first stylus formed and thus the pre-bloom should have started.
Also, I had to keep in mind that my plant because the grow box in the basement could have a slight spider mite infestation, but I have not guaranteed which can find. So I sprayed them preventively with a neem oil solution from both sides before the flower is there and real vermin runs around it. :-P
For tips and suggestions, I am always to have as this is guaranteed to be my first experience of its kind!

I think there are to much leaves that give to much shadow, but I don't wanna do the wrong cuts so....nope no cutting for me.🙀
By now she's looking beatiful in my eyes and the smell starts to get a bit stronger.🙌
It's getting it's constant smell I think. No more nutrients added til' last time.

Yesterday I poured Short Flowering Powder "0.5g / 1.5l" in ph 6.28 water and today I notice these yellow spots.
The beauty has grown 5 cm since yesterday.💪
What could that be? I'm just a bit worried?! 😲

Hello. Definitely keep an eye on those yellow spots. Overdoing it with the nutrients usually backfires pretty quickly. As Athos said, buy a pH meter........then you won't have to guess, and we can diagnose better. It was probably a little lockout from the nutrient application. Those spots won't go away, but they shouldn't get worse either. More in the comments.

The good girl was rinsed with
20 liters of tap water and surrounded with
approx. 1.5 - 2 liters
of fresh soil in a larger pot.
After strong concerns about whether it will be something with the good,
one day later I have already enjoyed
6cm of height gain and much stronger fragrances.
Now, on the third day after the action, she looks more fresh again and her scent....... * Awwwww *
No nutrients or other aids have been added.
Only when the weight is right, it will be poured again.
Yesterday one day after rinsing I removed the 2 lowest fan leaves as it seemed to me from stress of the plant as I could do that. It does not seem to bother her.

I was so ill that I weren't really able to update this diary. Sorry for this!
In week six I began to use the Plagron alga bloom & alga grow.
Because the plant got some fresh soil after the flushing last time, I've chosen
to give 1ml/l alga bloom & 0.5ml alga grow because she startet looking like on the last pictures on some leaves from bottom to the middle.
I waited for 2 day after giving the nutrients the second time. But it really seems like it's not getting better.
All the upper leaves look fine and only fan leaves are affected.

sorry for letting you wait so long.
In the beginning of this week I saw my plant "eating itself".
After checking the PH of my soil I got a nice 6.3 as result.
I thought I could handle this with a bit more extra nutrients and
mixed 0.13 g/l of Short Flowering Powder with water und dripped in some alga bloom til a PH of 6.25 was reached.
Two days later I felt like my buds are exploding in an more noticable way, so this was no bad Idea with the nuts.
On day 61 - I started to switch from alga bloom to CANNA PK 13/14 only, in doses of 1.25ml/700ml.
I'm more than suprised to see that my CFL Setup seems to work 👌

This week it looked like my girl is just getting older and older. She has a nice autumn like look and the trichomes show by now aproximately 40-50 percent amber.
As i startet using PK 13/14, 1.5ml/0.7l
I think it was a bit to much because now I can see a slight nutrient burn I think.
Anyway, today on day 62 (sounds early, but she looks late) I startet flushing her the first time before harvest within the next week.

this week the gorilla girl did still fatten a bit up... didnt thought it would do that anymore, but it did.
Already got a good kicking testbud of it last week, so I think in is week, it's time to harvest.
It was a really fast growing lady I think.
Did flush the girl 3 times this week with 60 liters of water (ph +-1% 6.4👌) and some drops ph down.
Think I will do this process again with 20 liters and on thursday I'll harvest. 🙌
Can't believe that her time to be a even more better girl has finally come. 😆😇

today I'd harvest my beauty. The longer it was outside the tent, the more my house began to smell like paradise, I swear. It was so crazy lemon like and there's so much glue on it.
👏**Update: 26th of december**👏
Today I decided to cut the buds of the stems to put them in it's final jars for curing.
I already smoked 8 grams that were ready dried after 3-5 days so the dry weight I wrote above is the weight seen on pictures. 🙌 Overall drying time was 6 days and they are very very crossy. think they got dried a bit to fast.😅
The gorilla buds are not as dense as I wanted them, but I think it's okay.
Overall I really, really enjoyed growing this beauty. Had some trouble in the mid phase but she bounced back very nice.

I have now observed that with the leaves... No new ones have been added at least within the last two days, but I keep observing. 👍 🏻
Today in the expected last vegi week still 2x 18 Watt growth lamps (6500k) ESL hung to get a better illumination. These are also exchanged by 2700k lamps in the flower. The delivery time was so long that unfortunately it could not be sooner. 🤔

And a few additions^^
When using fertilizers you're not familiar with/new to, always start with a fraction of the recommended amount, like 25 percent or 33 percent. And especially with powders that need to be dissolved, weigh/measure very carefully.
I personally start fresh with each grow and gradually work my way up to the amount.....since all plants are different.
And then the good stuff. You definitely did well with seeds from RQS, as they have stable genetics and usually very resilient plants (also resistant to mistakes). If you have more questions, feel free to PM me........or just drop them in the comments with an @.
Oh, and of course, measure pH after adding fertilizers, as they change the pH.

Great recovery! That tap water flush sounds like it worked perfectly. I've been having issues with nutrient lockout - how do you know when it's time to do a full flush like this? 💧🌱
