Sour Wiz is still in veg. 7 weeks. Looking fantastic. EAsiest strain to grow so far. 0 issues and respond so everything well. Once I can sex I’ll separate and start planning to flower. Skywalker OG is still going great in week 9 of flower. STARTING to see a lot of bud structure and white hairs. Northern Lights is still surprising because it was so mutated and now its thriving.

It's flower time!!! Really excited for this phase of the plant cycle, and love watching them develop. She's drinking more frequently right as I'm ready for s vacation! I setup s self watering drip system and the rest run was a success!! A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow.. Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

Fantastic week. Lots has changed. Plants are stacking something fierce! I cut out the nitrogen completely this week, qnd that's how it will stay for the duration of the rest of the grow. I have found with autos, i have had the best luck when I push them hard with nitrogen up until this stage in growth. I then cut out the nitrogen completely and up the bloom nutes quite dramatically. For the rest of the grow I will feed every watering. Water at a 6.4 ph. Gro- 0ml per gal Micro- 10ml per gal Bloom- 15ml per gal Bug bud- 5ml per gal Very much looking forward to watching this batch swell!! 4 of these beauty's and they are looking phenomenal!! Not gonna be monsters plants, but look to be heavy colas!

So Early Tangie, aka TheRealFoxtailQueen had made 72.03 of airy a bit foxtailed daytime smoke, she is a bit weaker on taste and strengh than her sister Fatty, the only other Tangie i tried already. So from all 3 curently choped and dried plants ( and i quess the rest ) she is the worst. Day 99. Strawberry Cough and other girls run fine, need to do defoliation for her, but work and future hollyday takes all my time away... Day 100. Two girls are jared, life is good,numbers are far off my expectations and i am happy with that ;))))) Day 104. Sativa pheno aka Lanky tangie falled today, her photos and videos in harvest diary, there i will put dry bud photos later. Strawberry Cough finally had time to go to hairdresser and thats what we got ;))) Never trimed any plant ever so hard as this round and its third defoliation round for her. Lets see. Pure ph water to both girls today. I never do any hard training with nutes in watering cycle, girls always get pure ph water. Strawberry Cough loves CalMag as FastDiesels. Have in mind ! Day 105. Strawberry took it like a champ and looks like a champ, believe it or not, flowers smells now with strawberries and thats above the moon for me ! Late FastDiesel will get last round of nutes on friday and only 3 weeks of water for her left. I am going on holidays for 3 weeks and one friend will be watering them, dont want anything of him than just 6.5 ph, strawberry will survive without one or two feeds, soil is ritch still tho, i hope at least ;))) We shall see .. End of week !

Rolling into week 3 from seed roots are starting to drop through the net cups and down into the solution. Growth appears to be a lime green color, which would indicate that they are in need of more Nitrogen (N). One is struggling to keep up with the others and is looking a bit mutated and is not responding well to the nutrients I am using. I am going to add some 5.8 pH water to her rez and see if the dilution helps. Over all happy with the progress so far, Will post again next week with new progress.

Easy week, the plant is growing fast. Only feeding water for a few more weeks. Will start training next week and maybe top if needed. Nothing else to say, this is the boring part.

Purple punch is nuts, super frosty. Even some fan leaves are covered with tricomes. I believe I will flush it very soon, maybe in the next watering. Gorilla punch beautiful plant with some purple nugs. They are getting really fat Mimosa cake still getting more and more white pistils and I hopping the nugs get fat 🙏🏼

Ztrawberries= as you can see from the pic and video these girls are skyrocketing climbing almost an inch a day. Showing good signs of pre flower, very impressed with dominant heads coming through on all these ladies 👌🏽 Tropicana cookies = These girls are just showing off there stretch rate match that of the ztrawberries and it’s and impressive spectacle to watch also showing good signs of pre flower Cherry Cola = These girls seem a week slower than the rest none of the less they are showing a decent amount of heads just no signs of any stretch. O.N = Ztrawberries and Tropicana Cookies have had some defoliation not really touched Cherry Cola so I don’t cause any unnecessary stress. EC increased from 1.1 to 1.3. Very happy this week!!

-Esta semana simplemente las he regado un par de veces con un litro y medio cada una. -A una de las GG ya estoy haciéndole el flush final -Empiezan a enfermarse las hojas. Puede ser falta de calcio, potasio, magnesio...no lo se. Les he echado uns buena dosis de potasio y las que están más afectadas les he echado sgua limpia y un poco de potasio. -una de las GG le falta poco para cortar. El resto les quedará poco menos de un mes

They coming along so nicely. They stacking on so much as they grow and the terpenes are becoming so nice to the smell. They starting to smell very pungent and piney along with a nice fruit cent. I increased the nutrients by 1ml.

Week 4 of little Guava. She is finally speeding up a bit, but the weather was still far from good. Very cloudy at day, too cold at night – so she still was allowed to sleep inside. When it's raining she can hide under a table, but it's not ideal. Started to slowly feed her a bit, seems to take it well. Hoping for betten weather now.

The last week before I flip them into bloom. I'm seeing a lot of cracks in the leaves I'm hoping that is from the over watering and the ensuing drought that I gave them to stop but we'll see. I've checked the plants over for bugs and have seen none so we'll see how the coming weeks treat the girls.

Week 6, day 43. Growth: The girls still grew a bit past week, #4 the biggest of them all is 71 cm. Buds started to develop on all 5 girls. I noticed a deficiency and took action but ill explain this down bellow:) Training: I did a selective defolation on all 5 girls. Maybe ill be picking off leaves that are in the way but there will be no more training. Im just going to let them do thier thing. Nutrients: 4 out of the 5 had little burned tips on the leaves because of overfeeding. Some of the plant's leaves are pretty dark so i think they did not like the feeding of 2.5ml Canna Terra Vega and 2.5ml Cannazym. Next feeding when the soil is day will be 2ml of Canna Terra Flores. Issues: I was hoping i was not going to need a "issues" section but im no pro so i expected some issues. So first issue was, Temp fluctuations: Its cold here and i have to set a timer on a 2000w heater battling the cold when the lights are off. I decided to run the tent 24/7 through flower to have a consistent temperature like our fellow grower Rudiak suggested. I added a new carbon filter and put a fan in the intake hole. now my temperature stays between 26 and 26.5 and humidity is also stable around 30 to 40%. This is my solution for this run but not a permanent solution. I think ill be removing the mars hydro 300 when setting up the new tent. It takes one heat source too many out the tent. i can cover the whole tent with the cob and reflector96. Nutrientburns, Nutrient lockout: Some of the girls look like they have a nitrogen toxicity and also some burned tips on the leaves so i skipped 2 feedings. I noticed i also had deficiencies, i suspected iron deficiency but i now think its nitrogen deficiency because the new growth is not effected. They got burned by the amount of nutrients they had last feeding so i assumed something wasnt right in the soil. I flushed the girls today with 24L per pot. with a ph of 6.6, the runoff was 5.9 and managed to get it to 6.4. Because of the big difference the ph in my soil mustve been really low causing the lockout. Lets hope everything will be ok after their first feeding after flush

Looks absolutely awesome. This is my first photoperiod and you can really tell the difference in density and overall quality. I wet trimmed her and froze the sugar leaves to try to make my first hash. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Set up cost (fixed costs) -Lamp: 40€ -Timer: 3,5€ -Pot: 4€ -Total fixed costs: 47,5€ Given 5 years (or 15 grows) usage time translates to around 3,17€ per grow in materials. Variable costs: -Seed: free (gift) -Soil: 6€ -Fertilizer: 3,50€ -Power: 15,21€ -Total variable costs: 24,71€ -Total costs per grow: 27,88€
