Tuve problemas de trips en un indoor y tengo todas plagadas pero ya las e tratado con aceite de neem y un insecticida genérico, también añadí tiras azules, trataré esta semana. Trasplanté a maceta definitiva 7 litros. Estas próximas semanas veremos cómo avanzan. I almost despaired of getting my seeds to germinate after I moved house. Unfortunately, I seem to have stored them incorrectly during the move, so almost all of my auto seeds refused to germinate. But this single Mimosa Cake Auto from Fastbuds did manage it in only 2 days, and I'm very happy to be able to grow three plants at once after all. What a struggle! Because I was given a pretty olla (a clay pot that you bury in the ground), I'm going to try it out this time. Fertiliser cannot be added this way, but it should prevent the soil from drying out. In this grow, I used my usual nutrients from Greenbuzz-Nutrients, which I received as a sponsorship over a year ago. Time to use them up! As a substrate, I used the peat-free Lightmix from T.A. again. It is cheaper than alternatives with peat and better for the environment, so I recommend everyone to give it a try.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Saw some excellent lateral growth from their branches in the last week. Been removing fan leaves from main stem to allow meristems to grow more. I was using kelp in a foliar to induce apical dominance but have since removed it from the girl's regimin with the hopes of flowering beginning soon.

Hello guys, I went on vacation for 2 weeks so i asked a friend of mine to take care of my plants. Well....They are alive😅 but he didn't do any work on them LOL. He didn't even try to spot deficiencies... Neighter did some LST so they are kind of fuckt up for now, The PH rates where oke, like 6-6.2 but the EC rate was like 1 to 1,5 so he might have giving them more water turns then he gave nutes, I'm glad that he didnt overfeed, this little underfeeding didn't harm them alot and at this early flower stage it doesn't mind that much. I didn't want them to stretch that long like this, the stems went thicker so bending will be harder but I will try to. Pictures named Update 1 is how it kind of looked when I came back ( I did some defoliation before making the photos, so it looked way worse before that). If you compare week 12 with week 15, you can see a nice equal cantopy in week 12 and you see it turned to shit in week 15 lol. The Shamans went into flowering stage for like 1,5 week if i gues it right and the Critical Kushes are about to. I will post new pictures when i get all the work done and when they recover a little bit from that, i gues it will be putted online in the weekends. So this is all for now. Update: The way it got handled it demotivated me for this week so i barly did something about it nor did i make new pictures, Sorry guys, I will make them better next week for sure :) Enjoy.

She is now well into flower. A very light smell which is very nice. I am feeding her heavily with no issues so far. Looking forwards to this one.

Seedlings stretched a bit had to put them under the light early. Popped 2 seeds initially with 2 freebies I got, unfortunately the freebies didn't germinate in a week so I tossed them and popped two more Dolatos and all four germinated with 100% success rate. Kept them on a 20/4 schedule watering them only once and sprayed the top soil with a mister every now and again. 👍🏿

Usually keep in the shed in the evenings but a rather strong edible made me forget that I left the plant outside overnight.. she was covered in dew in the morning and it was overcast so the sun wasn't burning it off. Because of this, I pulled her maybe 1 week too soon but she was almost done so can't complain. Only downside was I lost 30g + to bud rot during drying 😭

Esta planta realmente fue Muy rápida ya que se le recortó el tiempo de vegetación para alcanzar una buena floración en el maceto en el que estába, fue un experimento para ver qué podía hacer esta cepa en poco sustrato para minimizar gastos las fertilizadas también fueron mínimas y con fertilizantes naturales elaborados en la zona.como lo son: humus de lombriz y en floración melaza hubo algunos problemas de mildiu oidiom pero se solucionaron con una mezcla de leche con bicarbonato de sodio y así como vino se fue el hongo. Es una planta muy resistente tanto en vegetativo como en floración en su floración el olor de la planta es muy fuerte solo por pasar cerca de ella te envolverá su olor. En conclusión estoy feliz con los resultados y la rapidez con la que fue cultivada esta cepa sin duda la volvería a tener en mi jardín
