********* Week 11 - February 17 to 23, 2020 (**Days 71 to 77 from head coming out of medium**) Well another week has come and gone and she is still going💪😃 This was week of not too much to report as well as it is basically just keeping her medium wet, light low, and let her ripen😃 We also started looking at trichomes closer this week🧐🧐 Her frost really developed this week and has turned to primarily all cloudy. Took most of the week to get there. Tops are starting to show more amber in the buds and the lowers still show a number of clear.......didn’t want to rush her and let her go at her own pace. She is going to be running close to 80 days and expect that to be harvest day. She took some time but the leaves are light on Sunday and trichrome colour was a good balance. Removed any unnecessary LST tie downs. She has really started to “pull-in” on herself with the long branches she has grown. They have also gotten really purple over the last two weeks. Discovered another problem with the darn pH pen this week and it was out by 5 full points. This also explains some of the unusual things I have seen and thoughts of her possibly being a little slow the prior week. It had been 4 weeks since last calibration so it wasn’t out that long but long enough. This girl weathered that curve ball pretty good💪🙏 She went into darkness on Sunday Feb 23rd for roughly 48 hours. Harvest day is around the corner😛 Goal of a two week flush is being achieved......should be smooth smoke!! Will see what using Green Planet’s Liquid Weight all the way to the end will do as well. Again, this girl has been a surprise from the start with her vigour, beautiful leaves in early veg, and awesome bud to leaf ratio in late flower. She has taken pH and nutrient swings in stride. We had some PK issues late in veg and didn’t fully recover from it before flower set in but the narrow leaves have left for an easy trim job👍 Not rushing her so far has allowed her frost to come on strong and she should have a healthy THC percentage!! I have revisited the list of other diaries for this strain and there aren’t many to go by for comparison but this girl seems to be in there with the other top producers......time will tell. Awesome job Sweet Seeds🙏 More detail: Feb 17/20 - Day 71 - nothing for feed today. - SWELLING last night :) Feb 18/20 - Day 72 - 3L water with Rezin & Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 80ppm and 5.8pH. - Moved her under the HLG light today. - Buds are getting dense and hardening towards the tops. Feb 19/20 - Day 73 - 2L water with Rezin & LW8 = 80ppm and 6.1pH. - still waiting on further ripening of lower trichomes but she is getting close. Feb 20/20 - Day 74 - 2L water with Rezin @2ml and LW8 @1.5ml = 80ppm and 5.9pH Feb 21/20 - Day 75 - Nothing today. Dry out. - she will be done in days from now. Into darkness this weekend at some point. Feb 22/20 - Day 76 - 2L water with Rezin and LW8 @ 1.5ml/L = 80ppm and 5.9pH. - review trichomes again today. - one more day. Late vegetative phase over and the plants are preparing for flowering. I gave the plants grow nutrients for last time and i switched the LEDs to bloom mode. I slightly decrease the RH and i've boost the ventilation so more air could move within the tent.

Extremely low temps started the fade earlier than expected but the plant is doing decent. Bit on the small side but i think it has to do with the confines of the container.

Video was taken 2 days ago right before a feed, today they are all praying to the lights and look good.

Starting into Week 5 Flower, week 11 total Mandarin Cookies definitely has an extremely strong orange citrus smell! Trichomes are coming in very nicely! MC’s are still ahead of the SK’s... however the SK on the left is catching up, with the one on the right having some budlets starting to form. 3 - Madarin Cookies are two in back and one in center; 2 - Silver Kush are two up front; 2 gallons water/nutes per 5 plants, alternating with plain water (just calmag, malassis, Ph. 6.4) every other day. Ph.6.4 (1.5 C.F.) Fox Farm Ocean Forest, mixed with (1.5 C.F.) garden soil, fills (5) 5 galllon fabric pots perfectly. (50/50 mix.) The new version of Spider Farmer SF-4000 is an awesome light, for anyone wondering. Can’t say enough good things about this light! Way less heat that any HPS/MH I’ve used. My big curiosity is about the final weight per watts used at finish for the Spider Farmer... UPDATE Week 5, Day 6: I did notice some heat stress on only a few of the taller branches (they were about 6” from the light). I did move the light a little further up about 4” to get some distance, and added an extra fan. Hope this helps the leaf curling! Question: have you ever driven past a house and can instantly tell they just harvested?? Ha! I just did that on my way home, and thought I was smelling my house from a long distance away.

ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , the zkittlez did stay alot shorter and compact compared too the rest , but she has had the shame conditions than the rest , so she much just be a shorter pheno type i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady stayed very short and compact and didn't really stretch much at all and it by far the smallest plant of the bunch ,

I really notice the flowers on the northern lights. The three easy bud are following suit. My box is small and i am might be forced to move them if i cant get them trained. I have also seen a small hole in one leaf and what looks like a small bleach spot on newer leafs. Only two spots at the bottom.

Back from a short trip and they’re looking great! Looking ahead to my schedule, it became apparent I was going to need to harvest sooner rather than later if I wanted to be at my house for the first week or drying. Trichs were about 50% milky and maybe 5% amber on average. I decided I’d be staging th harvest over a few days. I was going to try washing them prior to drying to make sure the pm is neutralized and because two of the outdoor ones are probably covered in city soot 🙃.

Had some issues with the big fan leaves on the lower nodes. They weren’t doing so great, turning brown and brittle so I cut them off today. Hopefully that helps, probably should have done it sooner but I was a little worried I was going to kill it or something. It’s still growing though, lots of new growth and a few branches growing potential bud sites so I think it’s ok. The reason the leaves were dying? Could have been the low humidity. Could have been underwatering (she’s sucking up the water really quickly, needs to be transplanted). Maybe I have the light too close, realized today it’s only 8 inches away, I was just eyeballing it. If you know the proper distance for this Mars Hydro TS1000 LED please comment below. I will be transplanting this week on Thursday when my new Air-pots come. Goals for this week: Figure out exactly how much I should be feeding this thing, it’s possible it needs cal-Mag added to the food? If you know about nutrients please comment below. I am using the General Organics GoBox. Hopefully cutting those leaves will lead to some new growth. I checked out the gross of some of you that have commented. You all are doing awesome I know there is a lot I can learn from this community and appreciate any help you can give. D18 - Today was the first day in week three of veg, and it was time for transplanting the girl into her final pot. All I did was get her out of her cup, sprinkle some mycorhizal inoculant on her roots, and then plant her back into the pot. Finally, I gave her around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.4 to reduce transplant shock. D20 - Not much to report, but she is looking happy after the transplant. I gave her about 0.6-liters of water @ pH 6.5 just because I had some over from watering the Colorado Cookies girl. Overwatering a single time should be fine. D22 - She is loving her new home, looking vibrant and healthy. I cut down the cover crop as it was getting a bit unruly. D23 - I opened the tent today and realized I forgot to fill up the humidifier last night. The RH in the tent was only 29%. Oops! I gave the girl about one liter of compost tea that I started brewing yesterday. 24 - The end of the third week of veg and she is loving life after her transplant. She is 9 cm tall and 13 cm across and has grown sturdy enough to start LST next week.
