Day 16 Candace is showing some discoloration that is concerning. Possibly nitro deficiency. The pics were taken 20 minutes before lights out. It's a watering day so when lights come back on, the plan is to water at 6.5PH, with SimPro veg, CalMag, and Fish Sh!t. Sheryl is looking fine so she gets 6.5PH water only. Light is at 75% which is 300W. Turned up the Vornado rotating fan so the stalks can strengthen / thicken up.

Day 21 - Candace has amazing structure and growth. The color issues seem to be negligent. Sheryl is growing nicely but not praying as much as Candace. She was showing slight leaf taco around day 18. I backed the light intensity down some and she recovered. Watered both at 6.5 with calmag, Fish sh!t, and SimPro Veg. Light is at 100% Humidifier is not working correctly Day 25 Humidifier seems to be working now. Watered both 6.5 with CalMag. Sheryl is taller than Candace. Next feeding will be Bloom nutes. Day 27 The pots were significantly light, so I watered. Sheryl has downward leaf curl which says overwatering or wind burn to me. I turned the Vornado down. 32oz of 6.5PH spring water with 2g of SimPro Veg + 2g of SimPro Bloom for Sheryl and 16oz of water with same nutes for Candace. If Sheryl is overwatered, no point in having Candace suffer too. The pots were light though. We'll see how they are fairing by day 31 or 32ish. The smell is faint, but it does smell cheesy. Candace is 6.75" tall Sheryl is 7.5" tall Day 32 - The pots were super light even though leaves still showed signs of overwatering (mostly on Sheryl) Sheryl is 10" Candace is 7" Next feeding / watering is planned for day 39 / 40. 4g SimPro Bloom 16oz Spring Water 6.5PH Day 34 Forgot to turn my ventilation back on yesterday so temp was 96° for a light cycle. Water evaporated so I lightly watered both 6.5 with Fish Sh!t. Candace smells like skunk on stem rub. Old school refer vibes. Sheryl smells like burnt rubber, pine, tar.

Candace hasn't recovered from overwatering. The pot is very light / dry, but the leaves still droop. They aren't crispy, discolored, curling, or taco, just droopy. I'm concerned if I let the pot dry completely it will force the microbes to go dormant and the short flower cycle may never catch up. She has the perfect structure to be a monster but this leaf drooping is not helping at all! She doesn't even need LST! Sheryl looks to have recovered fine but is much smaller and bushier than Candace. I skipped the preflower top dress because this strain has a 4 week flower cycle. I'll keep feeding them SimPro once a week. If I top dress, I'll never be able to get a good fade on these. Day 36 Bottom watered both with plain PH water. Day 37 - Both liked the bottom watering. Candace is 9" Sheryl is 11.25". LST the side branches on both. Day 41 The leaves had bounced back, but are now droopy again, which tells me they're thirsty. I have two small lower leaves on both plants show PK deficiency, so they're hungry too. Whipped up a tea using Roots Organics Terp Tea Bloom, Azoz, & Simpro Bloom. Each got 1Ml of Fish Sh!t & CalMag.

Day 50 overdue feeding and watering. 5g SimPro Bloom half gallon of 6.5PH spring water each. I'll never choose this fertigation method again. So much easier to amend the medium then top dress every 30 days. The plants seem normal for 50 days from seed, but not normal for a plant that is supposed to be harvest ready 60 days from seed. A few people here on GDs ran this strain way passed 60 days and maybe this is why. It's possible some phenotypes just take longer. No smell and no trichomes at this point. I would guess they need another 25 to 30 days to nug up. Day 52 they are both praying but still cannibalizing themselves. 5g isn't enough. Considering a top dressing. Day 54 - pulling 5 yellow leaves per day. This is not nutrient deficiency, these plants are fading. SMH I am behind pissed! Wasted 2 months of tent space and nutrients. I didn't do everything right, but the lesson for me is to stay away from fast strains. This is actually motivation to switch to photos. More forgiving of the small mistakes. In this case I overwatered in early veg. I should have tossed them both then. My preamendment ratios were off and I switched to water feeding during preflower. All of this has resulted in a plant that looks to be done in a week with marble sized fluffy buds that have zero trichomes and no smell. PISSED OFF!!!!! I'm learning through my failure but it still sucks! Day 55 Watered both with rain water, CalMag, and SimPro Bloom. I know CalMag isn't recommended in flower but I don't care about this bull crap plant anymore. I'm popping new beans and am gonna run these two as far as possible to see if I can get a decent top cola at least. Still pretty pissed. Day 56 Pics show how they respond to watering. Sheryl is praying, Candace leaves are up, but not praying like Sheryl. The only smell on either is from a stem rub. No visible trichomes. Not when I even zoom in. So odd! Day 58 Finally have some odor! These plants are growing like a regular auto-flower. I've been freaking out because the breeder says it's a fast strain (60 days). The lesson here is to always listen to the plant. Scrap the website crap and pay attention to pistils, leaves, and trichomes. They look and smell good for day 58. The yellow leaves are likely due to me adopting an abbreviated / hybrid feed schedule to suit 60 day seed to harvest. The day 55 feeding was 6g of SimPro Bloom in 51oz of water and that seemed to hit the spot. I need a good loupe so I can have a strong finish. Day 61 Fed Candace 1tbl of Terp Tea with Azos & Mykos, plus Fish Sh!t. Half gallon of Spring water. Bottom fed Sheryl Azos, mykos, & half tbls of SimPro Veg in 16oz of Spring water.

Day 63 What a turn around! Got my watering issues manageable. Last watering for Candace I added Mykos and Azos to my water. Switched from SimPro to Terp Tea. #GIRTH # FROST #AROMA Sheryl got that same recipe tonight. Candace didn't need water, but I splashed about 8oz in her dish for the bottom roots. Take Away? It's a weed so it's resilient. Have patience, don't panic, let the plants tell you what they need. Came back from out of town and the girls were looking famished. I put 1Tbl of Terp Tea Bloom in a gallon of rain water with Mykos, Azos, and Fish Sh!t. Fed both plants half gallon each.

Day 71 I didn't label the plants so I don't know which is Sheryl or Candace anymore. I'm also not sure what I did different to have such varying results. One is thick, the other is not worth trimming. Based on camera zoom photos it looks like we're at 10% amber trichomes, which means it's likely the last week. Lesson: Label each plant, take better notes. I bottom watered 6.5ph 1tsp of Terp Tea Bloom in 15oz each. Possibly the last watering. I ordered a digital microscope so I can be sure on the trichomes. Day 72 Microscope came in. It's not great but it was $15 so... anyhow I could see that the chunky girl is ready with high amber trich count (30%) upper plant and about 10% in the lower buds. I put her in dark and will chop tomorrow. The skinny girl that pissed me off last week has about 5% amber trichomes so she got fed and watered. Additionally, she stacked up and put on some weight. Nothing too crazy but it's noticeable. I'll give her another week or two. By the time the chunky plant is done drying (HerbsNOW dryer) and in a jar, the skinny plant won't be skinny anymore and she'll be ready to come down.

Day 77 She has chunked up a bit and put on trichomes. Considerably more than her sister. Watered with 17oz spring water no nutes. Likely the last watering. Gonna check trichomes for % amber and chop on Day 80. Day 78 Buds are dry enough, ready for trim and cure. The whole plant is larf except for two colas. Quite disappointing but it was a crazy grow with lots of curve balls. 1oz trimmed bud off of this. Still have the second plant in the tent so we'll see what we get. When it's ready. Day 79 The remaining plant in this tent is fading out nicely. If I'm honest, this is the first time I've actually experienced this. In the past, I harvested too soon, or thought it was a deficiency. I am watering with plain spring water, top and bottom. Trichome check later today. Trichome Report: 30% clear, 70% cloudy, no amber. Day 83 - Chop Day! Finally chopped the 2nd plant of this grow. She chunked up considerably and is funky. Nothing spectacular stands out, just smells like strong weed. 4.6oz wet. Buds are in the HerbsNow dryer set for 72hrs. Finally took a toke of the first plant. Such a clean smoke. Nice day high. I was stoned but totally functional. Super sticky! Full harvest report coming as soon as this plant is dry.

Day 86 72hrs in the HerbsNow dryer wasn't enough. Stems still bend with no snap, so I added another 12 hours. Day 87 Buds are dry, maybe too dry. Not as sticky as the first plant. Found a single green seed. I'm going to keep it and grow it (outdoor). Got an ounce off this one for a total of 2oz this grow. This plant is twice as frosty as the first. Gonna have to go back through this grow log and find the sweet spots.

I learned a lot this grow. The plant survived which lends to its resilience. It smells mostly skunky with some hints of rubber. Mistakes: 1. Overwatered seedlings 2. Ran unfamiliar nutes 3. Ran an unfamiliar feed method (fertigated instead of top dressed) 4. Gardened based on web description instead of what the plants were communicating to me. 5. Got a seed Successes: 1. They didn't die! 2. Got climate dialed in well 3. No fungus gnats or other pests! 4. Got 2oz total of good dry bud!
