Backing off the feeds a little now that they are coming into the final weeks of flower. Did a good bit of defoliating this week to help get airflow to the lower areas. Happy with the bud growth they are really starting to fatten up now. Onto week 8! 😬✌️

18/09 After a big big stretch, I lollipoped the beauties. This helped lower air humidity from 60 to 50%. I just defoliate them but they don't seem to suffer that much from it. I'll wait for them to recover before sharing more.

The day of harvest has arrived! Even though it always feels like a big day - at least for growing, lol - there isn’t actually much to be done. I always hang the plants as a whole and only trim enough to make sure there are no air pockets during the drying process. I know it might spark some controversy, but I dry by VPD, which also lets me adjust the humidity according to the temperature. Each plant came in at around 200g wet weight, which is rather small - but honestly, if the quality is high, I don’t mind. I have to admit though, they are very small 😜. The smell is as expected: like you put your head in cookie dough! Until next time!

May 5, 2025 Harvest Summary Most plants have been successfully harvested as of today's date. Two specimens remain and are scheduled for harvest later this week, allowing for optimal maturation. This combination proved highly efficient, significantly reducing maintenance time while ensuring consistent nutrition throughout the entire growth cycle. Ok start of week 4 of veg. I have topped the front 2 and fim the back 2, not 100% sure if I fim the back too right or got to close and ended up topping lol will have too see. They have responded well to it though. I done it on sat and today (Monday) they already starting to bush more. Will do a defoliate this weekend to get rid of some of the big ass fan leafs but so far all seems to be going great. Happy growing to you all 😁🍻

Day 53: In this last week I moved all the plants again and removed the leaves and branches for the last time. Twenty or twenty-five days at the most for the first harvest, and I can already draw up a final report on the genetics of this strain. On eight plants of Gorilla four showed a predominance indica with a large central cola and less ramifications. Two plants are much more bushy have a sativa predominance with longer buds and have branched out a lot. For the last two unfortunately has dominated the photoperiodic genetics and their flowering is considerably late, so as to be overcome by the two cheeses that are in bloom more advanced. However, the pistils have popped up and started to bloom, so the autoflowering genetic part is present. I am a patient grower anyway, so I will wait for them to complete their cycle even if I have to wait about three months. In these days I have added to my secret garden four other varieties: 1 Purple Glam Kush and 1 Sweet Tooth Auto by Bulk Seeds, 1 Critical Rapid by Barney's Farm and 1 Northern Lights x Blueberry by i49 Seeds. 2/5/25 thought i took some more pictures than this. shes very gassy. im worried about the mites because i noticed webbing on some of the fan leaves. i sprayed very very lightly with lost coast plant therapy. top dressed with 2 tsp bloom and 1tsp microbe and 1 tsp foundation

Plant has shown slow but healthy growth since its arrival, LST continues and I've managed to keep the plant at the same height it was last week but now at a horizontal angle. I did up the nutes for one feed to a slightly under recommended dose but in the days following I noticed the plant looking a little 'droopy' and since she has been with me she hasnt been drinking very well so I opted to flush her for a feed, since then she has seemed very happy :) whilst drinking much better (possible nute lock was imminent). Now back down to half doseages with the exception of CalMg (to help after flush) but will be increasing them in the following days. As of next week I will be transferring her and another plant my partner is nurturing into single bucket DWC set ups. Fingers crossed I will see some hearty results for making the crossover to hydro.

Yellowing of WW#2 is worrying me, looks to be a nutrient issue maybe? I raised the light above WW#2 by 4 inches in case its light burn as well. Other than that and the nute burn on The other plants things seem well. End of week update: things are looking great, I think whatever happened to WW2 is reducing its ability to form buds? Not sure. It’s looking okay, hoping they’re going to fill out well! Definitely need to grow the widow XXL again, it’s a shame I had another plant fall on WW2 and damage it, likely contributes to the yellowing and such. WW1 still has no amber trichomes, waiting for this entire week to end before I even think about harvesting. I am eager to harvest so I can get more light to lower buds on the other plants. I had to tie up 1/3 NL2 main colas. It was so heavy it was beginning to split the bottom stalk, there was no damage really just maybe 1/20th of the stalk was peeling from the weight. I tied him up to the light and everything seems well. I figured I wouldn’t run into that problem, but don’t underestimate how much weight buds can pack on!

Week 2 underway and she's developing accordingly. Everything is in the soil so we continue to just let her sip from the reservoir thru the wicks. I'm still misting the top of the soil to make sure she's getting enough to drink.
