Hello Growmies, As we enter week 18 of our journey with the Northern Lights by Zamnesia, the anticipation and excitement are at their peak. Let's delve into the latest developments from my garden. Our Northern Lights plant is displaying phenomenal growth. The buds are swelling and ripening beautifully, showcasing the success of our careful cultivation. Their density and frosty appearance are truly remarkable, indicating a high-quality yield on the horizon. This week marked the last phase of her receiving nutrients. I've meticulously managed the nutrient levels to support her through this critical growth stage, ensuring she received everything needed for optimal development. In the coming week, I'll be introducing Canna Flush to help remove any residual nutrients, preparing the plant for a pure and clean final product. Following this, she will be on a week of straight reverse osmosis (RO) water. This flushing process is crucial to ensure the final product is of the highest quality, with a smooth taste and pure aroma. Looking back at the journey so far, it's astounding to see how our plant has transformed, especially considering the initial challenges. Her resilience and our adaptive care have truly paid off. The start of week 5 is going well. Blueberry is smelling nice and my seedlings should be showing preflowers soon.

Good week as we had some nice weather, also provided a small amount of iguana grow and she's looking good, still 1 or 2 weeks to go before flowering, I've also started some LST to see if i can keep her small but with some more side branches, hopefully it works 😅 i never trained auto's so lets see 🙈

I got Buds! Only a about a week old so the're tiny. Just watered with some Recharge and did some pruning, looking a tad droopy but should peak up in couple hours. Over all very health looking plants, So glad I switched to organic fertilizer, saw one gnat in the garden a few days ago, so as a precaution I put up a couple sticky traps, already got mosquito dunks mixed in the top soil from last time. Haven't see him since, might be stuck on one of the traps :).

Started flowing after about 25 days in Veg. She stayed very compact but all the sudden she’s growing rapidly bumped up the lighting to 600 ppfd and have side lights on full getting about 550 ppfd under the canopy which is better than 150 ppfd without the side lights. The leaves have a curl on the ends I think maybe it had too much Nitrogen in early veg leaves were extremely dark green. I'm still learning this is only my 3rd grow hopefully I keep learning from my mistakes. Accidentally broke one branch that had multiple bud sites I think it snapped while plant kept getting taller and the pressure made it break and me not knowing this broke it the rest of the way when resetting the metal stakes. Hopefully it doesn't affect it too much, I know I should've just left it alone.

Was a nice grow from seed to harvest in 96 days. You could harvest earlier but I waited for the 30% amber.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱

🌿 Amnesia Skunk Auto — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We’re back with the Amnesia Skunk auto, and before we dive into this week, let’s take a second to understand how we got here. This run has been a bit different from the traditional approach. Even though we’re working with autoflowers, the environment has been set under a 12/12 light cycle from seed — what we’ve been calling a “no veg” approach. Now, to clarify — it’s not that the plant doesn’t vegetate. It does. But it does so on its own internal clock, not because we extended light hours to push vegetative growth. So what happens? The plant never gets the signal to fully stretch and build structure like in a classic veg phase, which results in: • more compact plants • tighter node spacing • earlier transition into flower • and a much faster lifecycle overall And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. ⸻ 🌱 This Week — The Story of the White Hairs (Pistils) This week, the stars of the show are the white hairs — the pistils. Those fine white strands you’re seeing shooting out of the buds are the female reproductive organs of the plant. Their role is simple, but powerful: They are designed to catch pollen. Each pistil is connected to an ovule inside the calyx. If pollinated, that’s where seeds would form. But in our case — no pollen, no seeds — so the plant continues to push energy into: 👉 resin production 👉 bud swelling 👉 terpene expression That’s why you’ll notice: • fresh, bright white pistils = active growth phase • constant new pistil production = plant still building mass And right now? She’s in full production mode. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Development What’s really interesting here is the morphology. These are currently the most compact plants in the room, sitting around ~90 cm, but: • dense structure • tight internodes • bud sites stacked closely The buds themselves are already: • forming tight • showing early frost • pushing aroma earlier than expected For a plant that never had a traditional veg window, this is honestly impressive. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding We’ve kept things stable and consistent: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% RH • pH: ~6.5 • EC: ~2.0 Water intake is sitting at around 1.5L per plant per day, which tells us: 👉 metabolism is active 👉 root zone is functioning well 👉 demand is increasing as flowers build ⸻ ⚡ On the “No Veg” Approach This run continues to reinforce something interesting: You don’t always need a long veg phase to get quality results. What you get instead is: • speed • control over height • uniform canopy • faster turnover But also: • smaller overall plant size • less room for recovery from stress • everything happens quicker, so mistakes show faster It’s a different rhythm — not better, not worse — just a different way to grow. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Looking ahead: You should expect: • pistils continuing to multiply • buds starting to stack and swell more aggressively • resin production increasing noticeably • aromas becoming stronger and more defined What not to expect (yet): • no major calyx swelling peak yet • no heavy pistil browning yet • no final density — we’re still building We’re still in that “construction phase”, not the finishing stage. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude As always — thank you. week 5 flowering - No herms, strong aroma, and THC production! 🌿🌸🌱🔥 Hello, fellow growers! It's time for another thrilling update on my flourishing journey. We've officially entered week 5 of the flowering phase, and things are looking absolutely fantastic. Here's what's been happening in my grow room: The most exciting news is that I haven't encountered any hermaphroditic plants thus far. It's a relief to see the ladies staying true to their gender and focusing solely on bud development. 🚫⚡️ The aroma emanating from the grow room is simply amazing! The fragrance has become more pronounced and enticing, filling the space with the delightful scent of resinous goodness. It's a testament to the terpene profiles of these strains. 🌿👃🌸 Additionally, the THC production is in full swing! The buds are swelling and becoming denser by the day. It's truly a sight to behold, and I can't wait to see how they'll develop further as we progress through the flowering stage. 🌿🌱🌸💪 While the plants are thriving, I've noticed a slight nutrient burn on the tips of some leaves. To address this, I've decided to dial back the nutrient concentration a bit for this week. It's important to maintain a careful balance and avoid overfeeding, especially during this critical phase. 💧💚 As for the nutrient solution, the pH has remained stable at 6.33, ensuring optimal nutrient uptake by the plants. The TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level has been consistently maintained between 1150 and 1250, providing the plants with the necessary nutrient balance. ⚖️📈 With everything going so well, I'm filled with excitement for the upcoming week of flowering. I will be growing her again, as I feel like I let her down, by letting her PH drift so low.. Other than that, she grew beautifully, and fumes of potency as you gaze at her! She yielded more than I expected! She's not that far below my previously lowest yielding plant! :)

What I could call a successful LST. The plant was lush from birth and having to keep myself low and to experience LST I tried one of the first times that I am very good at. The main cola is not huge but from there to the immediate vicinity there are scary inflorescences. The sides a little bit for the FImming a little bit for LST that distributes a little even for the strai are not bad at all, bigger than usual and with a delicious appearance. I am supporting it with a system of wires but there is maybe it could be done alone it is not to be touched and very much I do not know if next week I will take the photos but between two surely yes, flush started a great harvest is coming soon.
